Does the review widget -- remember the answers made by the student for feedback purposes?

No. It's for self assessment purposes only. You can request the user to take a snapshot of their answers to send via email or have them highlight text passages and add their answer as a note. Notes that students take can be emailed in bulk.
You could also look into third party widgets or other custom solutions / apps.

Can the Review Widget be reformatted?

I am having a hard time making a review widget fit on my page. I can seem to reduce the white space around my three possible answers? Also, would rather have all three on one line to run across the bottom of the page, rather than stacked. Anyone know if this is possible?

This is a IBA community site, so I try to find solutions and workarounds that work in IBA.
Sure there are going to be things that can't be done in IBA and are best done with an iPad App.
But IBA is a lot easer then programing an iPad App and I think a lot of the people on this site can't program an iPad App (including me)
If something can't be done in iBA that i know of, that's what I say. I figure If someone can program iPad Apps then they probably already know if that is the better route to go.
I really don't think using Keynote or html widgets is band-aiding IBA.
If you can make a quiz/review in Keynote that works better for your needs then the review widget, use it.
To be honest, for what I think joeandginny1 need, I think this is a workable solution and there is no need to use something besides IBA.
Also, if they don't want to use Keynote, another solution could be to run the review widget full screen only, and have the hot spot to launch the full screen review along the bottom of the page (on top of a text box with the question etc.)

How to change the answer text within the review widget of iBooks Author?

I want to change the answer text which appears after one has finished a test within the review widget of iBooks Author, but I can't figuere out how to do that.
I also want to sum up the result of a couple of questions as a percentage. How does that work?
Can anybody help?

Notice the answers inside the widget, each with a circle to the left - tap on one of those, which will then appear green with a checkmark in the center to indicate the correct choice.

Can I resize thumbnails in the Review widget?

In the review widget options, the sixth option down is called "Drag Thumbnail to Target."
Does anyone know if I can resize the thumbnails at the bottom?

Are you talking about the thumbnails in the Pages pane?
In that case, you can right-click on the Pages pane to bring up the context menu.
"Enlarge Page Thumbnails" and "Reduce Page Thumbnails" are items on that menu.
You can also click on the little gears icon under the name of the Pane. That bring up the same menu.

Have done 2 books with iBooks Author, and still can't get the Review Widget to work. Is there a tutorial available? Thanks for any help!

ibook-widgets.com have a free tutorial book in the iBooks store. Search for "Create your first interactive book using iBooks Author" they also sell widgets.
I dont have any connection - I found their eBook in the store long ago and used it to learn more about iBA.
The best advice though, is be patient, go back over the process step by step, I cannot access the Help files for some reason.. but i am sure its in their.

Why is the SHB12x-B12X LVDS cable made with the connections reversed on each end of the cable? Pin 1 on end end of the cable maps to pin 73 on the other end of the cable, etc.

The NI SHB12X-B12X LVDS cable is used to interface with specific devices which use the12X InfiniBand connector. The online product page for this cable recommends using the NI SHB12X-B12X cable to connect the 12X InfiniBand connector on the NI 656x high-speed digital instruments with other NI accessories such as the NI SMA-2164 to break out cable signals for direct access.

This is the question I am asking in the quiz:

In the book, you'd just put the number 2 on the first line, etc. How would I create this same type of question in iBooks "Review" widget?
I know this can't be directly done in the iBooks default review widget so what I'm looking for is just a best substitution or if there are widget developers that have created a more extensive quizzing widget, I'd love a link.

If you want to add in an XML file to a POST command, you'd add it just like any other file you'd attach to a post request, especially (if you're request is the same as your last post) if you're just doing a jsp page. I'd do it something like this:

Video in the Review widget

Is there any way to insert video into the iBooks Author review widget?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The only half-baked solution I can come up with is to put the video next to a basic multiple choice layout, and just try and make the two look like they belong together. Which is not ideal, considering I have multiple videos and will have to create multiple review widgets to go with them. If anyone can come up with a better solution, I'm all ears!

Given the current state of iBA, I'd say you've established the best process you can expect.
You could always attempt to bake your own widget with both features, of course, but by that time I suspect you'll have thought of other features, etc. which might put you into an app instead.

My safari does not keep my history despite all the settings and adjustment i made to the safari preferences so as to be able to keep my browsing history. the browsing history is wiped out whenever i close safari.

i use macbook pro mid 2012, OS X mavericks. my safari does not keep my history desp[ite all the adjustments made to the settings at safari preferences. my browsing history are cleared whenever i exit safari. i dont know why. i want to try and re - in stall it . the safari is version 7.0.1. but i dont know how.

If you're having trouble making changes to files that are inside your home folder (represented by a house icon in the sidebar of a Finder window), or if you can't get changes to the settings of an application to stick, then please see below.
Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. The weather widget doesn't appear in the notification center for ios7

I can't find the basic weather widget which was part of the earlier iOS in the notification center. Has it been removed or do I need to change some settings?

System Preferences/Notifications - check the setup there. Also check the daily reminder in the Reminder application.
Do a backup.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.notificationcenterui.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Is it possible to retrieve the memory of a copy made on the Office Jet 7410?

I am trying to retrieve a document that was copied on the machine. Does the memory hold it for any length of time? How would I pull up what is on the memory presently?

Works for me - are you sure you're doing it right?:
Right-click or contol-click the icon: choose Get Info from the pop-up menu.
Click once on the icon at the top of the panel - it gets outlined in blue? Are you getting this far?
It is now selected, and you can now cut, copy and paste it. So, get another icon you want to use in the same way, and paste it over the one you want to change.
If you don't get the "blue outline" then I don't know...
