    Hi there aliyan,
I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps for "No SIM" found in the article below.
If you see 'No SIM' alert on iPhone

  • Each time I turn off my Maxx, it locks the SIM card, need PUK to unlock

Each time I have to turn my Maxx off, it locks the SIM card and needs the PUK number to unlock it.  I'm so sick of this.  Can anyone please help me?  TYIA!

    Hello Matthew,
When I got my phone, I wanted to lock it so it required the 4 digit PIN code to get into it. I did that, using the "Set up SIM card lock" function, and, I just checked "SIM card lock settings" and it has a check mark beside "Require PIN to use phone".  It has never been set up for encryption.  I've only had it a few weeks.  I never tried to set up encryption, nor did I do anything that made the PUK number be required after my phone has been turned off.  It just started after I'd had it a couple of weeks.  I'm going to be traveling by plane quite often, and will have to turn off my phone.  I'm not sure what to do at that point.  Any help you can give me will be most appreciate!
    Thank you!!

  • HT4623 my new i phone 5 say the sim card u inserted i this i phone in not sported but i put in another one the sim card work what can i do for this

i buy anew i phone 5 from ksa from karfor market to use in egypt
when i insert the sim inside i the i phon dosnt work and say the the sim card inserted in this i phone is not supported
so i try the sim in another i phone it work
what can i do for this proplem

The iphone where the sim didn't work is probably locked to a carrier.  You need to contact the carrier of that phone.  If it's unlocked, then I'm not sure what the problem is, given that the sim works in another phone.

  • IPad has a feature or insert the SIM card and use it as normal phone?

I tried to insert the SIM card into the drip tray iPad but was too small. iPad has a feature that is inserted into the SIM card and the normal operation of the phone?

The only way to use an iPad as a phone is via one of the Voice-Over-IP services such as Skype.
As to your SIM issue, the iPad requires a micro-SIM, and you apparently tried to use a standard SIM. But such SIMs get you access to data services only; as pjl123 said, the iPad has no phone capability built in.

  • HT201407 I'm travelling and replaced the sim card in my iphone5; now it wants to activate the device... how do I bypass that?

I'm travelling, so I put in a local sim card in my iPhone5 to avoid roaming charges.  But now the iPhone5 wants to activate my iphone again... How do I bypass that?

It sounds like your iPhone was locked to the carrier that issued it.  Only they can unlock it for you (if it can be unlocked at all).  So contact your cellular carrier (the original one you had).  Here's how:
    Contact a mobile carrier

  • My iphone 4 wont restore my photos from my old iphone 4 that was faulty i have saved them but the only photos that save are the ones of my camera and i cant delete them off?? HELP

I need help I got a repcement iphone 4 on monday because the one i had was faulty! I did the update sunday night to make sure i wouldnt loose everything! I restored the new one on the monday when i got home and i have lost all my photos and some contacts! I am really upset I have had the iphone 3 and wheni restore it with the faulty iphone 4 it worked but not now!  HELPP

what photos are you talking about?
Photos taken with an iPhone are stored in the camera roll.  Like any digital camera, it is advised that you import these into your computer for safe keeping.  That's where the photos should be--back on your computer for you to be able to resynch back to your phone.
As far as contacts, again, it is recommended that you synch your contacts with a contact manager like Outlook or Address Book.  That's where the contacts should reside.
Have you not been using your phone as recommended?  If not, well, now you know why these steps are recommended.  The iPhone is NOT designed as a storage device.

  • ITunes asked me for updates I said ok download and then it finish but the SIM card couldn't open and I can't use the cellphone and they ask me for support it

what I can do for this problem

Sounds like you have a phone that was hacked to run on a network other than the one it was originally locked to. Updating it has re-locked the phone to the original carrier. ONLY the carrier can authorize unlocking the phone.
Where are you, where did you get the phone, and what network are you on?

  • I bought an IPhone 4s at an Apple store whilst living in China with the carrier China Mobile. It is a prepaid phone (no plan). Can I use it in another country by changing the SIM card? Or does it need to be unlocked? Can it be unlocked?

I lived in China when I bought the IPhone 4s with China Mobile. It is prepaid so I have to put money on my phone when it runs out. Now I'm living in Mexico and I was wondering if I could keep using my IPhone with the mexican carrier TELCEL. Can I just insert a new SIM card from this company? Or does it have to be unlocked? BTW I had no contract with China Mobile. Thank you in advance:)

Could it be because the SIM card got damaged while I cut it to fit the IPhone?
Very likely. Hard to believe the carrier in Mexico doesn't have a micro-SIM card available.
Or somehow the Chinese carrier found out and locked it?
    No, which is not possible.
What can I do? Get a new SIM and see if it works again?
Get a micro-SIM from the carrier in Mexico that you don't have to manually cut down. If that carrier doesn't provide one, switch to another carrier that is not so low-budget.

  • The SIM card in iPhone4 does not appear to be supported

Tried plugging new used iphone4 into my Macbook Pro, system took me to iTunes, got this message.
Thought maybe Apple had a preferred cellphone provider for me.
FINALLY found out that: nothing wrong with SIM card.
But, after 24 hours still No Signal from TMobile.
Call them Again, after talking to Apple; finally find out after having submitted to them multiple times my IOME code and SIM card#, that my phone is not unlocked for TMobile.
Therefore, the way i see it, the SIM card acts like a bridge between phone and puter, and unless it's Activated, they cannot communicate.
Finally one of their tech people figured out that my settings kept AT&T as The Cellular source, which shows that it was not properly unlocked.
Therefore, just went with AT&T, easiest option since they won't unlock unless you're a customer.

AT&T send the request to Apple for unlocking.
Restore your iPhone using iTunes and you should be able to see "Congratulations, your iPhone is unlocked" message after the restore. If you do not see this message, then the process of unlocking has not been completed yet. You still need to contact AT&T and not Apple for it. There is nothing I or anyone else here can offer you as a solution to resolving the unlocking issue.
Yes, if the SIM is faulty, the phone may not get activated.

  • What does it mean when it says there is a problem with the sim card?

What does it mean when it says there is a problem with the sim card?

Exactly that, there is a problem with the sim card.
The sim card is the little chip that links your iPad to the cellular providers network to get internet anywhere.
It may have moved in the tray and lost contact, it may have an actual issue, or it may be deactivated by your cellular service provider.
Contact them to have them look at it or your service and see if there is anything wrong with it.

  • I got problem with my network after I switch the SIM card.

I've go back to china in my summer holiday and of cause switched to a chinese SIM card. But im not able to use any software to get on the internet with it although it does show 3g on the top left coner. everthing else are working fine, i can dail, pick up phone calls, send or recieve messages, and one of online chating software which is a bit like MSN is still functioning. I've asked local shops and customer service, and tried everything they suggest like reset network, reset the whole phone and i even recovered it to its initial status, but the network still the same. The SIM card works fine and it is able to connect the internet on my friends cell phone, and i used it last summer holidy without any problem at all.
I'm guessing there might be some setup problem after i upgraded the system, I really hope someone can help me with this problem.

    Hi,
What version of the OS did you upgrade from ?
Anything before OS X 10.8.2 may have an issue if the Logic/Mother board has been replaced and the Serial Number not "flashed" back to it.
In the Apple Icon menu use the About this Mac item.
In the new panel click twice on the line that tells you the current OS level
It will change to the Build number (and alternative count to the OS versions) and then the Serial Number.
If it is missing you need to get it replaced.
(It is supposed to be done on Repair or Refurbishment).
An Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider as the best choices.
There are apps you can download (They are Mac Model specific) but needs careful typing as it is a once only trip.

Was the device purchased as unlocked or locked to a specific carrier?  If locked, is the SIM card from that carrier?
