Does the SIP Profile work for Symbian Belle?

This is an interesting device, however besides having to have a seperate application for Wifi Hotspot, I am wondering if the so-called "application" for SIP VoIP calls, as per older handsets will in fact work or would it need upgrading.

I had the same problem while testing Nokia 603 and it took a week to get the solution, so I'm happy to share my experience now...
SIP profile works fine, but you still need to download a widget from Ovi Store in order to configure Internet telephony profile and activate VoIP calls. Unfortunately it seems that no VoIP provider has released own widgets, so you can't use Internet calls even if you setup SIP profile and registration to SIP server is ok. But there is a solution...
You can download a little app from Nokia develeoper site, which enables hidden configuration and let you access to manual configuration of Internet telephony profile... same as it used to happen with older Nokia devices.
After installing the app you can create a default Internet telephony profile associated to the SIP profile created before. After doing this, when you enter the contact list or oper the dialer, you can find a new menu option to call via Internet. Not easy, but it works!

This issue because there is no SPN for the Front End pool FQDN. Rather than adding an SPN I just deleted my front end server from the topology builder and added a new one using the FQDN of the actual lync server and it worked fine.

Why does the sound only work for certain programs?

It sounds like you have System Sounds muted. Either the switch on the side, or double tap the home button and swipe to the right, ICON will be on the far left. If the ICON is screen lock related, then it is the switch on the side.

How does the security model work for external USB disks attached to an AEBS

I've attached a USB disk to my AEBS after partitioning it first on my MBP using Disk Utility. I created a single partition with a GUID partition table covering the entire disk. Next I deselected the "Ignore ownership on this volume" checkmark and assigned myself and my wife read/write access, my group read access, and the rest no access. Next, I hooked it up to the AEBS and created some test files. I noticed in Terminal that the files I created all had rwx access for user, group and others. Trying to chmod that into something less open, like rwx for me, rx for the group and nothing for others didn't work. Also I noticed that when I was logged in the files I had created had my name as the owner, but when my wife logged in, those same files were owned by my wife.
What is happening here ? Who is the actual owner of the files on the external USB disk on my AEBS, and what are the real access rights (as they seem to depend on the actual user). On my AEBS I've setup "File sharing", "With accounts" and created accounts for both me and my wife, as well as disabled guest account access.
I get the impression that the owner and access rights seem to depend on the actual user connected to the AEBS, but I'm not sure.
Can anybody please enlighten me on the subject of AEBS access rights/ownership for USB disks ?

All that I can provide is what has worked for me for years.
The Time Capsule is setup as the router for the network, connected to a simple Zoom 5431J cable modem.
Static Internet IP connection from the cable provider is 12.34.567.89
By default, the Time Capsule is at 10.0.1.1 on the local network
Port Mapping setup for the Time Capsule is......
Public UDP Port 8884
Public TCP Ports 8884
Private IP 10.0.1.1
Private UDP 548
Private TCP 548
The hard drive on the Time Capsule is accessed from a remote location at afp://12.34.567.89:8884
The AirPort Extreme is connected by Ethernet to the Time Capsule and is it setup to operate in Bridge Mode
The AirPort Extreme always receives a reserved local IP address of 10.0.1.2 from the Time Capsule
The Port Mapping setup (on the Time Capsule) looks like this for the AirPort Extreme.......
Public UDP Port 8888
Public TCP Port 8888
Private IP 10.0.1.2
Private UDP 548
Private TCP 548
The USB hard drive connected to the AirPort Extreme is accessed from a remote location at afp://12.34.567.89:8888
If you are still having difficulty, I would delete all of Port Mapping settings on the Time Capsule and Update the Time Capsule. Then, go back and setup the Port Mapping for the Time Capsule, check that to make sure that it is working, then setup the Port Mapping settings on the Time Capsule for the AirPort Extreme.

Does the symbol server work for current version?

I followed the "Using the Mozilla symbol server" article in order to see symbols for Firefox in a debugger. But i still only get those "firefox.exe+1a05" entries, instead of "firefox.exe+Sleep" for example. All windows symbols work, but I never got any Firefox symbols to show up. My idea now is that the Mozilla symbol server is not up to date. Can someone help me?

Hehe thats the "Using-the-Mozilla-symbol-server-article" I mentioned in my post. It only explains how to add the symbol server to search path; which is working for me. But the mozilla server seem to not have symbols for the current version of firefox.exe, THAT is my problem.

How does the Default profile works?

we are using MSCS cluster.
On last week, I found SAPGLOBALHOST and SAPDBHOST are pointed to wrong server in default.pfl in
<CLUSTER>\SAPMNT\PRD\SYS\profile. I changed both parameter to currently server name and restart service. Therefore, we lost zcsa/installed_languages parameter in PRD_DVEBMGS01_<CI_SERVER> file. I have to add this parameter again in RZ10.
My question is:
Why SAP can start up correctly when the SAPGLOBALHOST and SAPDBHOST were wrong ? I don't think anybody changed this parameter without notice.
Where is the old zcsa/installed_languages parameter stored? I searched all servers, I couldn't find this parameter.

Check SAPGLOBALHOST and SAPDBHOST parameters in Instance profile. If the values in the instance profile is correct it will override the default profile values. Also check the environmental variables like DB_HOST etc.
When you change the value of zcsa/installed_languages didn't save it as a new version?If you save as a new version then go to profile directory and check DEFAULT.PFL.<n>

Why does the /s not work for me in the commandline?

We have a HD webcam pointed at a pooltable in our local poolbar. We use FMLE to stream to Dacast. To finish the project we want to automate the process: only stream between 17.00 and 01.00 hours every day.
It looks like FMLEcmd + batch/cmd files + scheduled tasks can make this possible.
I am diving into FMLEcmd. Starting up works fine. But stopping gives me troubles. I use the command: fmlecmd /s rtmp://live-ams.dacast.com/201346/21653+xxxx
Reply is: "Stop command send to FMLE."
Then i do fmlecmd /s and it says " All running FMLE sessions are: rtmp://live-ams.dacast.com/201346/21653+xxxx".
Questions:
1. What am i doing wrong here?
2. When starting a session through cmd, will it be visible when you open FMLE Gui?
Plan is to make two batchfiles: One to start FMLE streaming on a daily basis at 17.00 hours. And one to stop FMLE streaming at 01.00 in the morning. If somebody already has similar batchfiles ready for me to use, please let me know! If somebody has another solution for the above, also let me know!
Already implemented the reconnect interval and times in the XML file... that was needed...
Maybe stupid question: When i do the command "FMLEcmd", encoding starts, text displays "streaming to server", and i see bitrates moving. Is the only option then to close the command window? Because i see no cursor anymore?

It doesn't give me an error message, it simply does not search. I type in my search term and it appears to search the document but then a dialogue box appears which says that my search term has not been found. This even happens when I am looking at a page in which my search term is clearly visible!
I am shutting down now until the morning as I have been working almost 12 hours.

Yes, with some restrictions.
You need to mind the LCD size/shape. Namely, the batteries are the same for the 4:3 standard models, but widescreen 14" T61 units use a different battery from the rest of them.

How does the round robin work for WLANs in the WLC?

We recently added two more RADIUS servers in the enterprise for redundancy. Our main WLAN had only one RADIUS server for PEAP authentication. We have Prime configured to email us with mostly the default notifications. I recently started getting these emails:
I started digging into one of the controllers and I found these messages:
Notice how, if you start reading up from the bottom, you can see 10.2.80.201 failed to authorize user "unknown" and the controller then deactivated that radius instance and shifted to the next one. Then... after a while, another "unknown" user tried to authenticate, and again, the controller then abandoned that radius instance and then went to the next one in line. That process keeps repeating itself after it cycles through all three of the radius instances, then starts over.
Is this normal behavior, or do you know if I have misconfigured something?

There can be cause to adjust the EAP timers....but check if you are set to radius aggressive failover or not.
