Does the WCS automatically reset radios?

I have a WCS, four 5508 controllers, Cisco 3750X switches, and both autonomous Cisco 1200, and LightWeight 3502i in service.
The problems I am having, is that some of my Access Point reset for no apparent reason, and I get alerted by my NMS.
When I look at the switch port, that connects an access point that reported down, I see the POE switch port went down and back up in 4 seconds, just long enough for the access point to reset.
There are no errors on the switch port(s). No cable or speed/duplex issues. Switch IOS: c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-55.se1
There are no other pertinent entries in the switch log. Just that the port went down and then back up. Always in 4 seconds.
When a reset happens the WCS reports on the access point:
'802.11/b/g/n' interface of AP associated to controller 172.20.0.x is down. Reason: Indicates that while the radio state should be updated on controller, no reset should be reported
But nothing else, except that the radio came back up.
This is happening two or three times a day, and rotates. It seems that it never happens at the same time of the day, or the same access point, or the same switch. (I have over 1000 access points and 500 switches in service)
I am curious if the WCS is automatically resetting the access point radios, which is causing the switch port to go down/up?
And if so, is it possible to turn off the automatic reset?
Any suggestions on what I can do to find out what is causing this would be greatly appreciated.

I have exactly the same logs on a AIR-LAP1262N associated to a controller running 7.0.220.0. I was able to collect some logs directly from the AP. Here are they :

I checked on release notes and it appears they are some conditions making radio interfaces to crash but I'm not sure what the conditions are...

How to advoid Pdf attached files turning into winmail.dat file causing incovinience opening them? And why does the phone automatically changes the file???

The first time i opened the mail, the mail loaded the attactment as pdf file and i was able to open it without any problems. But then when i tried to open it again, i watched the phone automatically turned the pdf file into winmail.dat without any of my control. Since then, i werent able to open the file anymore! And this was lucky that i was able to see it as pdf file - all other attachments i have recieved since using my new ip6 all turn into winmail.dat
this is really incovinient and frustrating for work. i cant believe i cannot just open a pdf file as a pdf file on my ip6 in the emails i recieve. I was on ip4 before this and never have anything like this happened.
Solution needed asap please.

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your new iPhone 6. If you are getting a winmail.dat file instead of a PDF, you may want to see if it may be the issue noted in the following article:

Since a number of you are denigrating AV, let me remind you that even Apple has concluded that some form of AV is necessary and since 10.6.7, has included its own AV called XProtect. So much for AV being worthless.
Apple's XProtect would be nice, but the problem with XProtect is that it seems Apple isn't really devoting all that much in the way of resources to it and its definitions are updated only sporadically, often only after some form of malware becomes prevalent. Of course that doesn't mean that a commercial AV, like Intego, or a free, highly rated AV like Sophos will necessarily have definitions for that malware, but since, unlike Apple, that's their only business, it's likely that they won't allow something to stay in the wild without any definitions, as Apple may do, for very long.
It's all much more nuanced than the cut and dried answers usually supplied in ASC. Read on here about some of the shortcomings of XProtect.
In the years I have been using Macs, I have not, to the best of my knowledge anyway, been infected by any kind of malware, (but, to emphasize, that's to the best of my knowledge), and I know all the common sense ways of avoiding it, but, and it's a big but, it only takes one event for all that safe history to come to an end.
And besides, to those of you who have already concluded that you have never been infected by any form of malware, including myself, I would ask, how can you be so certain? How do you know that you have never picked up any kind of malware? Malware these days is no longer of the script kiddies, or even of the well executed vandalism variety. Malware authors are writing for profit and they go out of their way to write programs that are undetectable. It's not like it will jump out at you, you can be infected and not know it.
Besides using common sense as ones main defense against malware, AV is just another tool, to be used with respect for its obvious limitations.

How does the WCS communicate with the 4402 controller ?

I would like to place the WCS server on a different vlan than the controller. How do they communicate ?

So no problem to have WCS and controllers management ip addresses on two different subnets.

WHY DOES "tHE cONNECTION WAS RESET" keep me out of Netflix?

Every time I try to go to Netflix I get "The connection to the server was reset while page was loading.I don't have any trouble going to other websites. Iv tried Google,Internet Explorer and others and I get the same thing.Sometimes I can get to the login part at Netflix then I get "The connection to the server was reset while page was loading".I called Netflix and I was told nothing is wrong on their end. I dont know much about computers,dont own one.Use the computer at work. So there might be alot I dont know. Any help would be appreciated.

Why does the smc need resetting?

Does anyone know why the SMC on my Intel_Mac needs to be reset every couple of days?
It's on a UPS so one would assume that fluctuations in the power supply could be ruled out.
Is there a firmware up grade for this problem?

OK, two questions:
1. What year and size iMac do you have?
2. What version of OS X is installed?
Frequent causes of this problem are traced to peripherals (printers, external hard drives, USB Hubs etc..) that are connected. I would trouble shoot by disconnecting all of your devices and then plugging each one in one by one and test until you either eliminate all of the peripherals as the problem or find the culprit.

I wouldn't suggest going to get it yourself. You could find yourself in a situation you cannot get out of and could get hurt. Second, as stated before, it is more for misplaced or lost devices, not stolen devices. Many police agencies do not feel they have probable cause, just from your statement on a map location to justify attempts to recover the device. There have been many posts from others who have had devices stolen where the police will not confront someone based on that map location. I understand you are impacted by the theft, but this is what we have insurance for. To protect your content, from now on I suggest you put a passcode on the device. I hope you have changed all of the passwords for accounts you had on the device, since all of your content and data was accessible to the thief.

Why does the Reader automatically switch screens in a two(2) display setup?

Reader keeps switching between my two display setup. I had this problem pop up about two months ago and finally installed version 11. The problem went away but about two weeks ago, Reader automatically switched back to displaying the pdfs on the second monitor. Anyone have any clues why this happens?

HELP! ...I went to the apple store to get my iPhone replaced. When I left, happy & all, I realized I did not erase the data off of the iPhone I got replaced!! Does the apple store reset those iPhones so that information isn't stolen or tampered with?

Having said that, here are two thoughts:
1. Did you sign a form when you left your old iPhone with Apple? You might consider reading that form. It may help.
2. You might consider telephoning the Apple Store and ask them about resetting your old iPhone.

Where does the CS5 Automatic Update put temporary files?

I am getting the same error that I see other people have had. When I try to download and install CS5 updates using the automatic updater, I am told that the download failed and that I should try again later. My guess is that one of the files was damaged in the download, and that it chokes each time it tries to open it. I suspect that the "fix" is to delete all of the downloaded and temporary files and to start over, but I don't know where they are. Anybody know? Thanks.

The file I downloaded was downloaded with the following filename cf10_mdt_updt.zip. I then ran an extract all and saved the extracted files to a folder called cf10_mdt_updt. I then copied the folder with the extracted files to the following folder c:\ColdFusion10\jre\bin. I then ran Command Prompt as Administrator and got the error message shown below.

Why does my ipod automatically reset itself when im listening to it?!

I will be clicking through songs and all of a sudden it just resets itself...and also if im fast forwarding through a song it also just resets it self.....everything it up to date so what is the problem

You could reset iPod when scrolling trough songs very quickly, you might have pressed -MENY- by mistake while scrolling. Do not give Your iPod too much commands in same time, i'd bug myself if somebody push me round too much. It's a good machine but do not over do it.

Why, upon launching Firefox, does the page automatically go down to the bottom requiring me to scroll upwards? It never did this before.

I can't explain this any more clearly. The opening page, after about a second or two, scrolls down to the bottom of the page. I can't see the upper end, where most of my tabs are. I have to begin each session by scrolling upwards.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes.
If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

i want to send someone a "cd" from itunes but im not sure how the person goes about "receiving" the music?

I think they receive an email with a link to the album in the iTunes store that can be accessed on their computer or iphone/ipad/ipod touch. I've gifted a few albums but never been gifted any, however I've never heard of the giftee having any issues.

Why does the Organizer automatically grab all images.

I just discovered that every image I have brought into my iMac is appearing as a folder in the Organizer. I don't regularly use the Organizer and don't want all images to appear there.
How did this happen?

No. I always do a manual download of images by dragging and dropping them into a folder on my external hard drive.
The images that I am finding in the Organizer catalog are even images that I downloaded from an email attachment!
