Does the XMLP full or partially support the Xpath and XSLFO syntax?

Does the XMLP full support the Xpath and FO syntax? or partially? Thanks

Hi Robin
OK, so hopefully you are not leading me into a trap here :o)
There are two parts to this question:
1. XPATH - we support as much of the XPATH spec as the Oracle XDK supports ie we rely on the XDK for our transformation engine so as long as they support what you are trying to do then we do. There are a few gaps and we have plugged those in the XMLP layer. So the short answer is yes.
2. XSLFO - we allow you to use XSLFO in your template. The XMLP engine supports much of the standard but there are a few gaps. the next set of docs will layout exactly what we do support in the spec.

  • Does the GeoRaster method SDO_GEOR.exportTo support the Erdas IMG format?

    Hi Everyone,
Does the GeoRaster method SDO_GEOR.exportTo support the Erdas IMG format, and SDO_GEOR.exportTo method can export what maximum amount of data?
    Best Regards,
    Lin

Lin, thanks for your suggestion. the gdal-georaster integration is a great one for GIS and professional usages and can do what exportTo can not do even though it was just recently available. note though, all existing georaster functions, including exportTo, are internally built inside the database server from ground up. this enables users to fully leverage the power of enterprise database and grid computing.

  • Page size that I have to put my site to see the same on a computer supports both laptop and a desktop computer ?

page size that I have to put my site to see the same on a computer supports both laptop and a desktop computer ?

The viewport on a computer is adjustable by the user. iWeb sets the viewport width to the page width that you chose in the layout menu. No matter what the end user does, the page width is static and a reasonable compromise for the width of a web page that will be viewed on these devices is 980 to 1024 px.
Safari on iOS devices cannot set the viewport. The viewport on mobile devices is fixed and its width depends on the orientation of the device. The iPhone in portrait mode has a viewport width of 320px. This means that the 980px wide iWeb built page will be squashed down to about one third of its desired size making it unreadable and difficult to navigate.
Setting the viewport meta tag so that width equals the device width is a futile gesture since Safari on iOS will do that anyway. Its only useful if you add some initial scaling like...
    <meta name = "viewport" content="initial-scale=0.7">
In the case of a 980px wide website, the initial scale is about 0.3 so any value higher than this will magnify the initial view of the site.
Here's an example of a 980px wide page that has been given and initial scale of 0.7 which allows an iPhone user to see one column of a two column layout...

Understanding that the iPhone 5 won’t support simultaneous voice and data transmissions over Verizon LTE network will it ever be able to support VoLTE (Voice over LTE)? Could Apple add VoLTE support later on? It seems pretty clear the MDM9615 chip supports VoLTE but the baseband software by Apple does not. Could Apple add it to the baseband later on? When will Verizon turn-on/enable VoLTE?

Well in my research Verizon is already testing Voice Over LTE in select markets via a few news releases, and rumor has it that a few smartphones are already VoLTE ready. http://news.verizonwireless.com/news/2011/02/pr2011-02-09f.html

    Niel...
I installed Leopard 10.5.6 and then it upgraded to 10.5.8, when I installed it I had the old info saved to a "previous systems" folder, where most of my artwork, etc. were saved, I have a one terabyte Lacie backup that unfortunately did not work as it was intended...it saved the new info and not the old. I did look into the system preferences folder and found the classic file, of course it wouldn't launch...but I have the old G 5 startup discs and will try to do it as you stated. I will try also to move it out of the previous folders file to my hard drive and see how that works.
thank you for your time and help,

  • Does the 27" iMac wireless card support 802.11a and n

does the iMac support the 5 GHz wifi format?  How about the N spec?

    I'm sorry but I don't understand this:
the unit supports 802.11a channels but it doesn't pick up anything.
Are you saying the iMac cannot connect wirelessly? And why would you be concerned that the very old 'a' standard may not be picked up? The latest standard is 802.11n, not a.

So, is the iMac working wirelessly or not?

  • Does iPhone Packager CS 5.5 support camera access and LOADING images from the camera roll?

Flash CS 5 only supports SAVING to the camera roll, not loading image from it. And it has no access to the camera to take pictures and access the image within the app.
Does Flash CS 5.5 do these things? There's no point in upgrading if it doesn't support these core feature that I need.

    Hi.
Just got an app  rejected because the popover to select the pics from the camera roll on  the iPad always appears on to-left corner, and the arrow doesn't point  anywere, and should be pointing to the button which activated it. That  "does not comply with the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines, as  required...". On the iPhone there's no issue because it takes over the  whole screen. More from the apple rejection message:
"Specifically,  we noticed your app contained popover elements that didn't  point to  the element that revealed them. To avoid user confusion, a  popover  element's arrow should point to the element that revealed it."
So, thanks for including the CameraRoll functionality, but it will be useless in the iPad apparently
Any workaround to make it appear at a specific place when calling myCameraRoll.browseForImage() ?

  • When I use migration assistant to move all my data from my Macbook Air to my Pro, it uses the last full back up not the last partial back up. The last full backup is two months old though. Both machines are running Mountain Lion. How do I get my latest 1

    Hi
I need to move my data from a time capsule that backuped my Macbook Air (which has been destroyed by liquid damage) to my Macbook Pro. The Air and the Pro both run Mountain Lion and I have a clean installation on the Macbook Pro.
I used Migration Assitant to move the data across but while I have back ups of my Air up to 24 hours before it was destroyed, the migration assistant only wishes to migrate data from the last full back up that it finds which is 2 months old.
Please can you advise how I can restore the latest data to my Macbook Pro.
    Many thanks.

please let me know the linksys device model number you are using ..

  • Does the 8.1.7 driver support the 7.4.3 database

I am upgrading an application that is running on JDK 1.1 and Oracle 7.4.3 using the Oracle thin driver to Java1.4. Shortly after installation the Oracle database will be updated to 8.1.7. Can I use the Oracle 8.1.7 thin driver, if not, what should I use.

This article helped me to solve mi instalation Ora 8.1.7 problems. I hope it helps you too.
    Problem Description
They would kick off the install, you would see the blink of the install kicking off, then nothing. Other products installed fine (Winzip, Office 2000, Office XP) but not the Oracle Client. If you looked in the Task Manager you would see a process called JREW.EXE for a second then it would go away (as if terminated) immediately after executing the Oracle Client Setup.EXE.
    Symptoms
The Oracle client software would not install Cause the install would not occure unless the Java code was updated.
Setup.exe does nothing on a machine because of a problem with the Java Runtime Environment. If this is the case, you need to download JRE release 1.1.8-008 from java.sun.com. Install it, then go to C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.1 and copy the bin and lib directories over the ones in the Oracle 8.1.7 client installation area here:
    stage\Components\oracle.swd.jre\1.1.7.30\1\DataFiles\Expanded\jre\win32
Once done the setup.exe will install and the Oracle 8.1.7 client will install. If your Oracle client is older than this, you can download it at www.oracle.com <http://www.oracle.com> after registering (for free) with them.
    Resolution/Workaround
download JRE release 1.1.8-008 from java.sun.com. Install it, then go to
C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.1 and copy the bin and lib directories over the ones in the Oracle 8.1.7 client installation area here:
    stage\Components\oracle.swd.jre\1.1.7.30\1\DataFiles\Expanded\jre\win32
    The Java code URL is:
    http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.1/jre/download-jre-windows.html
Once done the setup.exe will install and the Oracle 8.1.7 client will install. If your Oracle client is older than this, you can download it at www.oracle.com <http://www.oracle.com> after registering (for free) with them.

  • Does my version of Adobe CS5 Support the Canon 5d Mark II?

    Hello,
I recently viewed a PeachPit video series that had screen shots and workflows for and from the Canon 5d Mark II HDSLR camera.
I've been having a few problems and issues getting started and wonder if perhaps I need to update my version of CS5.
Here is a screen shot that leads me to believe this.  I distinctly recall on the PeachPit instructional videos are 5d appearing in this drop down menu.
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Matt,
The screenshot you posted is for control and capture from DV and HDV devices; the 5D doesn't fit into this category. Since it is technically a "tapeless" camcorder, you are able to simply import the MOV files after you've copied them from your CF card to your hard drive. Technically, you could edit off the CF card, but you don't want to.
Just use the OS to copy the files to a hard drive (preferably one separate from the system drive), and then import the files into Premiere; there are many ways to do this, including from the PPro menu, by double-clicking the Project Panel, by dragging from a file browser window, or by using the Media Browser in Premiere. Moments after dragging them into the software, you'll be ready to begin editing.

  • The minimum hardware configuration to support the Diameter credit control

    Hello.
I'd like to know what the minimum hardware configuration is required to support the Diameter credit control application?

    Hello Mr.. Tarasenko,
According to the information found the diameter credit control application does not specify how many or which type units are bought/used and which items are charged. This is left to the company’s needs.

  • Do any of the instruments in Logic 9 support the sostenuto pedal. I have Logic 8 and none of the pianos allow its use.

Do any of the insruments in Logic pro 9 support the sostenuto pedal? I have Logic Pro 8 and none of the pianos there allow its use.
I'm using Prokeys88. Both sustain and expression pedals work as they should but not the third pedal. Is there a way to get
    it to operate?

RealPlayer can cause conflicts with Flash Player because it tries to assign EVERY TYPE of video or audio file to itself by default. I haven't used RealPlayer in years for that reason. It's an unnecessary program anymore. There are apps loike VLC media player that cna do EVERYTHING it does without conflicting with other apps like Flash Player.
With WIndows 8, Microsoft began embedding FlashPlayer themselves into Internet Explorer. Because of that, you cannot download and install it from here. You cannot uninstall it from Internet Explorer without removing a specific Windows Update first. And you cannot update it via this website. ONLY through Windows Update can Flash Player for Internet Explorer be updated.
That said, you probably DON'T have a virus that's causing the problems with Flash Player and Internet Explorer. Many, many websites are not "recognizing" the browser.
This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released IE11 The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player.
So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
    Firefox (from Mozilla)
    Opera (from Opera)
    Safari (from Apple)
    Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.
