Does this health report show Firefox working fine
Firefox version 32.03
Since the latest update I have noticed the browser start up time has increased and if I open one or two tabs the internet get disconnect for few seconds.
There is not any change on computer that is why I think it is strange.
I have checked Firefox Health Report which I do not know is good or bad. Therefore please advice.
As I could not attach the screen shot of Health report I will attach in next post after this one for reference.

No not a specific video or website anyone. I have just tested.
I opened your mail while reading I played a video from YouTube at random when it started playing on Yahoo I clicked a news link which interrupted the playing video for a while. This problem is not only with playing video even if I open a website or check e-mail when using browser will cause some disturbance/interruption. I should say a kind of hanging for few seconds approximately five to ten seconds.
In the given screen shot you can see in the task tray Opened browser, Windows e-mail, opened e-mail and capturing of screen shot. Sorry my system is in Japanese therefore you will see some strange characters.

Does this 'crash report' show the cause of the crash?
Can anyone shed any light on this type of crash (crash report follows) in SAFARI? It seems to keep happening -- crashes to the desktop which generate an error report, or a spinning beach ball crash where the ball never gives up (i.e., I have to reboot).

Does this happen with a specific site, or any site in general? The report is different than the ones I usually see here. Thread 10 mentions Apple's "Sound Manager". If the crash happens for any number of sites, try Safari from another User Account.
If you require assistance with setting up a new User Account, follow this guidance from Apple.
You can ignore step 7 in the article. Also, on the system preference>Accounts panel, click on "log-in" options. There, select "fast user switching". This allows you to go back and forth between user accounts via an icon in your Menu Bar at the top of the computer screen.
Log-on to the new account and start Safari. If Safari is stable in the new account, then your problem is specific to your regular user account. Otherwise, similar response means a system-wide problem.

Streaming music with airport express and Apple TV to 2 different systems. No problem with Apple TV. iPad and iPhone 4 and new 5s keep dropping their connection to airport express. Airport express connection to wifi appears to be fine. No dropping by windows PC. This just started recently after working fine for a year. Help?
What does any of this have to do with the Apple TV?

I have an iMac, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Until recently Firefox worked fine on them all and was my default web browser. Suddenly and with no other indications, FF wouldn't load on my MacBook Air. The opening sequence commences but hangs up with a "loading" indication. I have tried uninstalling FF with CleanMyMac and reinstalling. All is fine until I attempt to open FF when again I get a hang up with the "loading" indication. FF is still working fine on my iMac and MacBook Pro. Weird or what!
I have that problem too! Have anyone figure it out?

This resolved my problem
I checked and my Firefox is doing (or not doing in this case) the same thing. There seems to be a problem with the Snow Leopard and the Adobe browser plugin. I was able to get Firefox working again by going to Firefox > Preferences > Applications and switching all to Adobe settings to "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the plugin. Then I went to Tools > Add-ons... > Plugins and disabled the Acrobat plugin. Restarted Firefox and now pdf worked. -

Tell us your exact OS, the version of Safari you're running, how long this has been happening, etc. Is it actually crashing? Does it open up with your Home Page? Then what happens when you want to see a site? -

Every time Firefox openedSame thing happens to me. As far as I can tell, it just started a few days ago. I have made no changes of which I am aware. Today, I disabled Java Development toolkit add-ons. (One was already disabled, but one was still active.) I have only one version of shockwave flash running as a Firefox add-on. Having more than one version running is a known issue with Firefox. Reluctantly, I have just made IE my default browser, after several years as a devout Firefox fan. Pretty frustrating.

My Safari is no longer working with many sites. However Chrome and Firefox work fine. I would like to re-install Safari in an effort to clear up the problem I can not resolve.
1. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
2. Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.
3. If the above steps don't resolve the problem, please describe it in more detail. -
for the last 6 months my mac is crashing all the time. I think it is safari because firefox works fine. Any suggestions?
What is crashing, is it just Safari or is the entire computer freezing (if that's what you mean by crashing)? If the latter, are you saying it only happens when Safari is open?
You need to explain with more detail just what is happening and when.

I turned my iphone 4s on this morning.. texts were working fine until i got home. I did all the resets, someone please help.
I have the same problem. Apple needs to sort itself out. How they can release such bug ridden upgrades it astounds me for a business of this size. I now can't sync anything since upgrading, and all my photo's and contacts have been deleted.
I use my iphone 5 for business so now I have a mobile device with no contacts and no answer from Apple to the problem. This is so not cool.
Apple needs to notify their customers of these MAJOR issues with 6.1 or retract the update.

When I try to open the Virtual Machine console I get the error:
Cannot access virtual machine console. The request timed out.
I had no problem with this until Firefox did an upgrade to 3.6 and now it doesn't work and I have to use IE to open the console.
I can see lots of other people have this same problem so am wondering when it will be fixed.Look at this blog post for some work arounds for the windows version.

When I boot my Mac (Snowleapord 10.6) and attempt to start Firefox, the system alerts me that it cannot find the internet and requests that I try again. It is not until I start Safari, establish a connection that I can get firefox to work. This is a new problem. Until recently, things worked fine. How do I resolve this issue?
Same proble here, although the Firefox system requirements says it is OK to have PowerPC G3 G4 or G5 ( I have G5 2GHZ)

I have Firefox 28 which worked fine when I had Windows XP. Upgraded to WIndows 7 (updated all my drivers, etc). Now Firefox has times when it will not respond. Have tried most suggested fixes I could find on here and on-line. Nothing fixes it. It worked fine before the upgrade. This may sound like a dumb question to computer savy people, but would the older dual core processor be having a problem now that I am running Windows 7? Everything works great on the computer except for Firefox and Internet Explorer. I download Google Chrome and so far have not had an issue when using it. I don't care for it and would like to go back to Firefox, but the fixes don't fix it. I have uninstalled and re-installed and disabled plug-ins and removed and added and updated plug-ins, ran various virus/spyware scans, reset, downgraded to an older version, upgraded again, and a ton of other fixes. I wish I could figure out what changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 that would affect both browsers.
I doubt that the processor is the problem here. It might be that something went wrong with your browsing profile during the operating system upgrade.
One thing you can try is to reset your profile: in the "Help" menu, there is an entry "Troubleshooting Information". Clicking on that takes you to a page containing technical information about your machine and browser configuration. Additionally, it has a "Reset Firefox" button in the upper-right corner. Clicking on that starts a process that allows you to create a new, clean profile that contains your browsing history and bookmarks, but does away with potentially-problematic settings in your profile. (Don't worry, your original profile will be left untouched and you can return to it later.)
In many cases, this process solves issues people have with their browser misbehaving, so I hope it works for you, too. -
URL Cloaking doesn't work with Safari - IE & Firefox work fine
Hi There,
just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
If I choose "URL Cloaking" from the domain options on my ISP's site, Safari cannot find my site, or links on the site quite often will not work.
IE on a PC and Firefox on both platforms work fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions? My Site URL is: www.svelte.net.nz
Any help would be much appreciated as cloaking hides the .Mac address which is kind of useful.

I turned URL cloaking off so hadn't come back to the forum to see your reply - sorry for this. But now I need to have cloaking back on.
I'm not an HTML coder so don't know what I'm looking for. I might send this in to Apple and see If I get a response. Anyway, here is the code in case you or someone else knows if the ISP has got something wrong.

This must be something unique to SQLDeveloper. I tested in 2.1 EA1 and 1.5.5.59.69 and the query does not show results for the Total (GB) and Free (GB) columns.I would like to update the problem. It seems like when SQLDeveloper is connected to ASM instance, it has trouble using the divide operator (/). For example, the following query works fine:

If I run the same query in SQL*Plus from the same desktop using the same TNS alias, it works just fine which tells me that it is a SQLDeveloper problem.
When I am connected to a regular database, then the problem does not show up and SQLDeveloper is able to display the results even when I am using the divide operator (/).

Upgraded to OSX Mountain Lion, applications have disappeared?
After upgrading from old OS, all my applications such as Logic Express 9 and Final Cut Express have dissapeared. Also, when I search for things they don't appear in finder. Any help? -James
