No. Initially adobe was a mac-only company. Photoshop and elements are available for both platforms,although for PSE there are some differences between the two versions. The windows version has Organizer, and for the mac version you get Adobe Bridge instead. But editing is the same for either platform. Full photoshop has virtually no differences between platforms.

No access with SP Designer 2010 after change to FBA and Windows at the same time - Does this work with SP 2013

It seems you can't use SharePoint Designer 2010 to open a site if you have both forms and Windows Auth selected.
Is there any way around this if i want to use the 2 at the same time?
How does this work with SharePoint 2013 as i would be doing some migrations?

Hi,
As I understand, you encountered the issue after you selected both FBA and Windows Authentication at the same time.
As I test, I can open the SharePoint 2010 site using FBA and Windows Authentication by SharePoint designer 2010. When you open the site first,
you will get a dropdown menu where you can choose between the 2 authentication mechanisms.
After you choose one of them, you can open the site.

When I open the SharePoint 2013 site using FBA and Windows Authentication by SharePoint designer 2013, I also get
a dropdown menu where I can choose between the 2 authentication mechanisms. I can open the site after I choose one of them.
So I think there are some other reasons to cause the issue.
Check these things below:
1. Check if you have the permission to open the site in SharePoint designer (Site Permission > Permission Level in ribbon > Click the permission you belongs to > Ensure Use Remote Interfaces is selected).
2. Check if you have enabled the SharePoint designer to open the SharePoint site. (Select the web application hosting the site collection using the FBA and windows authentication >Central Administration website > General Application
Settings > SharePoint Designer > ensure Enable SharePoint Designer
is selected).
3. Is there any error when you open the site in SharePoint Designer? If there are any errors, could you please provide it here for further research?

JK90, I have boot camp on my Mountain Lion late-2008 unibody running 64 bit Windows 8, with a brand new ssd and 8gigs of ram. Although my scenario is officially unsupported, it works great. My 4+ yr old mac is the best PC I've ever owned :-)
There are a number of complications during and after installation, and you need to do a lot of research to make sure you get it right. I worked long and hard to get everything running just right.
Even after Windows was installed I had even more trouble with my drivers, and getting especially getting the trackpad to work properly, so I needed to use a regular mouse until I could get the trackpad on.
Also check out trackpad++, I've been using it for years now, it upgrades the trackpad drivers from apple and makes using Windows much nicer.

Why should Apple fix the problem? Maybe you should consider NOT upgrading if an expensive piece of (obsolete) software you're running won't work with it...

No; but then, I've not had occasion to use TDM. I've been using firerwire drives for over 10 years, both FW400 and FW800, with no issues except a bit of instability using a B&W G3 machine.
TDM should be safe. Using cautious, manual copying of files from the Target machine to the Host machine should not result in unexpected loss of files or damage to the Target drive's directories. It should behave exactly the same as if it were an external (to the Host) firewire drive.

I have an iPod G2 with a firewire 400 lead. how can I attach it to my new 13 inch Mac book Pro, is there a 400 to 800 firewire converter. USB lead wont work with the Macbook Pro. iPod used as an external drive to archive memory cards on the go.

As far as I know, if a harddrive works with a Macpro, it should work with the Macbook: if your Macbook is low on power, plug in the AC adapter
If your Macbook has a firewire port, then it should be fine. BUt i would do somemore research first.

Hi Bob, I just did my test again. What I didn't do in the first place was zip the contents, not the folder. It worked, thank you very much. My next question is can these pdfs be saved into ibooks? Can we download content such as forms that can be filled in and then eamiled back via the ipad mail program?

What wireless routers work with the MacBook Pro?

I have been having problems with my inconsistent D-Link 624 and I realize that I will have to replace it.
I would like to know what routers are compatible with the MacBook Pro. My D-Link worked fine with my iBook but I think it does not work with the Intel binary. Any suggestions?

I had problems with a number of different Linksys routers (dropped signal, couldn't connect to some iChat AV calls, etc). I'd been using some Airport express routers for music around the house, which I switched around a made a primary wireless router and a reange exapnder. I've had ZERO problems since.
BTW, I was having almost identical problems with my PowerMac G5 (with a wireless card).
I'm curious if something in recent upgrades (10.4.7?) has changed the OS's ability to connect reliably with non-Apple routers.
But at least my Apple routers seem to be working very well.

I have a Netgear ReadyNas Duo RND2150, it supports "SqueezeCenter", "iTunes Streaming Server", "ReadyDLNA", & "Home Media Streaming Server". Will this work with the Linksys Player, Conductor & Director work with it? Will there be any limitations?
Also, does the director function standalone or does it need the conductor or director?

Yes is the simple answer to the first question. The ReadyNas needs to have the UPNP media server running and correctly configured. There are no limitations I am aware of and have each of these running on Twonky Media Server on XP and Linux, Buffalo's Linkstation Media server (Linux) and Cisco's own media server running on XP.
In addition you can control the whole setup from a laptop, Nokia N95, Iphone, Ipod Touch, the Cisco Touchscreen remote DMRW1000 and each player component can operate standalone without requiring a director or conductor in the network, the only requirement is some sort of UPNP media server.
The whole setup is now working nicely since the last firmware update

I know for a fact that it can be upgraded to 1 Gigabyte, but I'm not sure of the exact brands/models that are compatible.

So is the 1 GB PC2700 the highest/newest model that can be used?
You could install, for example, PC3200 DDR memory, however, the Powerbook will only use it at the PC2700 level. So no advantage there from a performance standpoint.
I'm not asking if I can go higher than 1 GB. I already know that 1GB is the maximum. I'm asking if there are other 1 GB cards besides the PC2700. Perhaps other cards that are available and compatible.
I would stick with Crucial, Kingston (not their valueram), or Samsung memory. You have the link to Crucial, and Kingston is at http://www.kingston.com and Samsung is sold through distributors. OWC at http://www.macsales.com is one vendor I've bought from and would recommend. I've used all 3 brands in Powerbooks with no issues.
Also this is off topic, but where can I find the tool to remove the certain screws near the keyboard and the lower part of the monitor?
Tools you might be using are a #0 Phillips head (Lowe's $2 with a companion small flathead), a T6 Torx screwdriver (should also be available at Lowe's), a 4mm socket, and possibly a small allen hex wrench.
