Does TRIAL version of Flash CC include all capabilities? I am specially interested in WebGL export.

With few exceptions (I believe) trial versions are the same as regular versions. The difference being the time you have available to use the software.

I am missing some menus from my 30-day trial version of Flash CC Professional The HELP > About Flash menu displays "Adobe Flash Professional CC, Build 14.0.0.110. But the menu does not display the FLASH menu item. Do I have the correct version?

Ugghhhh, I just realized my mistake. How embarrassing. So sorry!
However, there are some instructions in my Flash textbook that are confusing, such as: Choose File > Save As > Flash CS6 Document. There is no Flash CS6 Document option under Save As. Am I overlooking something?

Hi,
My company would like to evalute Flash Access to see how it would fit with our content protection strategy.
Is there a trial version, that we could use for evaluation purposes?

Downloading a Trial version of Flash

I recently learnt of the Subscription edition for Adobe creative Suite 4 design premium being offered in Australia & I wanted to download a trial version of Flash (which is one of the programs I am most interested in) to see if it would be worth subscribing.However when I go to download the trial it seems to be a requirement that you are part of an organistion just to demo the blasted program (when trialing Photoshop it asked for no such thing) Is there a Demo version of Flash available for those us who aren't studying & who aren't part of a big organistion because it seems pretty lame to make a trial verison so inaccessible. I'm actually looking into starting a small Cartoon business that could use the program & I'll be darned if I'm gonna buy it before trying it but my business idea could not be implemented untill some time in the future.
Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated

Launching the trial version of flash

This may be a silly question, but I just downloaded a trial
version of flash and I can't seem to open the program from any of
the downloaded folders. Any Ideas?

Trial version problem when using more than 1 track - does trial version same as full one?

I am thinking of upgrading to Premiere Elements 9 as I have upgraded my laptop. But the trial version Premiere Elements 9 doesn't even perform as well (with the same media) as Elements 4.0 did on my old laptop.
My new laptop is an HP Pavilion with Intel(R) Core i7 Q720 @ 1.6GHz (I was a bit wary of the low GHz but HP explained that that was still better than a higher GHz figure for an i5). I am editing both MP4 and avi files at 720 x 480.
The problem is that as soon as I start to use more than a couple of video tracks, playback slows right up, making editing difficult. Other software packages I have trialled on the new laptop (such as Sony Vegas) don't slow up at all, but I'd rather not buy them as I am very familiar with Premiere Elements now.
Is this a problem with the trial version which woudl be solved if I bought the full version, or will it be the same?

The AVI format is but a wrapper. Almost anything can be inside that wrapper. This ARTICLE will give you more background, and will also tell you how to determine what is inside the wrapper.
Especially with a laptop, I strongly recommend tuning the computer for an editing session. This ARTICLE will give you some tips. Note: there are a couple of links, just for Win7. Also, there are some good tune-up tips in the forum FAQ section, to the right of the main forum page. Of special note: the active anti-virus, pop-up blockers and spy sweepers are known to cause all sorts of problems, when trying to edit video.
One major consideration with a laptop is the I/O sub-system - the HDD's. Most laptops only have one internal HDD, and that is anything but ideal. With eSATA external HDD's, one can get very nearly the same performance, as with multiple internal HDD's. This ARTICLE will give you tips on using external HDD's with video editing. Though I have 3x internal SATA HDD's in my laptop, I still rely on FireWire 800 (IEEE-1394b) externals, and they work well. Using eSATA would be even better. I downloaded a trial version of IWork (even though I already had it on my MacBook) and after downloading I only had the trial version- did not have the full version anymore. I tried deleting the trial version and ended up deleting all of IWork. Help!

So after downloading this trial version, my own versions became trial. I deleted them and it ended up deleting all of my Iwork completly. I dont have the original disks as they have been long lost! How can I retrieve the lost Iwork files instead of having to pay for the system again??? PLease help!

Is it possible to save when I use the trial version of Flash Professional CS5?

I downloaded the trial version so I could work on the final project for class but for some reason when I tried to save it my computer froze up. Is this because the save feature is turned off for the trial version or was it just my computer? If I can't save using the trial version than I wasted memory on my computer and a lot of my time downloading the trial version that isn't going to be very useful to me.

The trial versions have no restrictions on use and you can save what you create, so it was most likely your computer. Make sure your machine meets meets the minimum requirements.
The harddrive memory is not wasted, it is recoverable when you uninstall. If you are talking about RAM, it is only used when you run the program. The time you say you wasted downloading shouldn't have been necessary... downloading happens without the need for your participation, so you could have let that run by itself while doing something else.

Why does latest version of Flash Player download but not work?

I have a new Vostro PC, win7 software preinstalled on 64 bit machine, running IE10. Have had many problems the latest of which is Adobe Flash Player appears to have downloaded but does not work. When I try to view certain internet sources, I get the message to update my Flash Player. I have done all the 7 steps suggested by Adobe support to correct the problem. None works. What now? by the way when I checked the version supposedly installed, it was the latest, but the box next to Adobe plug-in was not checked. is it possible I need both and somehow the plug-in portion is not downloading?

The plugin is only required if you use other brosers like Firefox, or other software that use the plugin.

I downloaded the trial version of Flash 5.5. I had an error.

So after I received the error I restarted my Windows 7 PC and started the download again. The download finished properly but when I try and launch the application I guess a message that my trial expired. What can I do? I saw in another forum that you can reset the clock to January 1, 2006. I did that but it still didn't work. Any ideas? I would really like to try this software before I buy it.

No, too late. Trials cannot be reset by fiddling with the system clock. This only works with properly licensed products. Unless you are ready to rebuild your system including a low-level format of the harddrive, I see no realistic way of getting the trial period back. If you can, try it on another computer. In case this is a glitch in the licensing system, you can try some of the stuff explained here and in other docs linked from there, but chances are slim. The respective licensing key files are almost always already locked and only inputting a serial number can unlock them.

Looks as if you have your home folder on VMWare mapped back to the host OS drive, and that's triggering the initial failure in the log you posted. There's a faulty assumption in our installer's home folder logic that you've encountered, where it thinks your home folder is one level above your Documents folder, though we know that's not always true.
Here's a workaround you could try:
- Back up your Documents folder for safe keeping (\\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Documents)
- create a new folder tree named \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\home\Documents. The folder in the middle doesn't need to be named "home", you can call it anything you want, but there needs to be a new folder in the middle. Make sure you have write access to that home folder, as well as to its Documents subfolder.
- in VMWare Windows, reconfigure your User settings, moving your "My Documents" location down to the one created below \home\.
That last step varies a little, depending on which version of Windows you're running. On Win7 you can do it this way:
- in your user home folder (\Users\yourUserName) locate the My Documents icon, and right-click it
- choose Properties
- in the "Location" tab, click Move, and then choose the \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\home\Documents fodler you created earlier on your VMWare host
On Vista, you can right-click the Documents icon in your Start Menu, choose Properties, and from there on it's about the same as on Win7.
On WinXP it looks slightly different:
- right-click your My Documents icon (often on the desktop for convenience), and select Properties
- the tab you want is named "Target" on WinXP, and then you can click Move to relocate it to the same location described earlier.
After moving your Documents location this way, I would reboot first, and then make sure any old copies of FB4 are completely removed before re-installing. I just tested this out on my own VMWare machine (Vista), and it worked here, so with any luck it will work there too.

Can you download a trial version of Flash CS6 anymore, or only Flash CC?

I want to trial Flash on my Mac, but I do not have an operating system that supports Flash CC. I do however have the system requirements to run Flash CS6, so I would like to trial CS6 instead. However, I can't find the option on the Adobe website to trial CS6, only the trial for CC. Is the trial for CS6 no longer an option?

When I click on the download link for Flash Professional CS6, I get directed to a page that says this:

It happens if I click on the download links for the other programs, as well. Is this due to the download links not being valid anymore? Or is it something to do with my computer?
