Does UD Connect support ODBC

Hi,
Does UD Connect support ODBC natively?  If not, is there any way to work around the limitation?

  • Does Adobe Connect support CAS authentication?

    We use CAS authentication for many of our applications.  Does Adobe Connect support CAS authentication for Single Sign-On?  Our Adobe Connect is hosted.
    Thanks,
    Rod

    Single Sign-on support is only really available with a licensed deployment. With a hosted account you are limited to API's Adobe Connect 9 * Login and requests
    Configuring SSO on a licensed deployment can be found in this document http://help.adobe.com/en_US/connect/9.0/installconfigure/connect_9_install.pdf

  • Does Access Connections support 450Mbps?

    Does anyone know if Access connections support 450Mbps?
    I've Intel 5350 wireless adapter in T400 . In the connection profile, the status of the adapter show the speed only upto 300Mbps. I've Access Connections ver 5.85 installed on Windows Visat Business 64.
    Thanks

    It does for Intel 6300 cards... I don't have a 5350 card so can't comment on performance with that card,

  • Does the connectivity agent (ODBC or OLEDB) does the date conversion ?

    I had a problema with some queries of an app. I used on dev a scenario with ODBC and made the INSERT/SELECT queries using 'CAST (***) AS DATE' or simply typing the date string on it. When I implemented the app on prod, with an OLEDB agent, it accused problem on queries with dates on it. I had to use TO_DATE instead of CAST...
    Does that matter has something about the connectivity agent I was using on each time?
    TY.

    Hi LaRisa,
    I was able to find the Excel Set Cell Format vi and successfully alter the format of the cell value. It wasn't until I had found the vi that I realised that i've been down this path before. Changing the format after the table has been created will not alter the switching of dd and mm values that has already occurred. However, if I did it before I 'created the table' (or Excel Table vi) and set the format to be "@" then it will display the string as 'Text' in the Excel file. This is nice. I can control which cell, row or column to format now. If I want it to be in a date format then I have to apply the Cell Format vi again after the Easy Excel Table vi.
    This seems like a silly run around to me....

  • How does the connection with ODBC work exactly?

    Hi all,
    I've got an application written in Java that uses a JDBC-ODBC bridge to connect to an Oracle 8.0.5. Then i got another java application(called the bridge from here on) that only routes traffic to another server. Say that I connect to my bridge using sockets and my bridge is located on machine: remotehost port: 4444 and all my bridge does is reading incoming data and routes to machine: oracleserver port: 1521. This works fine. Now i have "fooled" my main application that my oracleserver is located om machine: remotehost port: 4444. So I can connect to it by DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:tns-spec"); And in tns-spec I've stated that my oracleserver is in fact on port 4444. This works fine, but when I exit my bridge program the connection to the database is still there! Why? Does Oracle open a new socket of it's own and contacts my main application directly or what is happening?
    Greatful for an answer is
    Magnus

    Think I've solved the problem, apperently oracle send data back, specifying on which port the data traffic should take. Say I contact Oracle machine remotehost port 1521 then I get a reply back, saying contact, remotehost port XXXX instead...Too bad...

  • What is the datasource for 9.3.1? Does OLEDB supports ODBC

    Plz some one let me know
    what is the datasource for hyperion 9.3.1
    and does OLE DB supports ODBC
    In hyperion 11 the datasource is through ODBC.
    thanks

    Hi,
    The datasource in 9.3 / 11 is stored in the planning system database tables
    In 9.3 it is set up through the configuration utility, in 11 it is done directly through planning web.
    The datasource holds the connection details to the planning repositories and the essbase application.
    The datasource connects to the planning repository through JDBC and to essbase using a JAVA API.
    Ok?
    Cheers

  • DB CONNECT support Hyperion database(Essbase)

    Hi,
    Does DB CONNECT support Hyperion database(Essbase) for SAP BW 3.5/7.0.
    Regards
    CSM Reddy

    Hi,
    assuming that you talk about ABAP DB CONNECT, this is not the case. From ABAP, SAP supports at maximum secondary connections to databases that are also supported by SAP as SAP databases (Oracle, the three DB2s, MSSQL, MAXDB).
    You also need to be aware that not every OS on your application server is able to connect to every database listed above. In case of SAP on iSeries, you need to have a Windows Appserver to be able to connect against most other databases supported by SAP.
    For more details about ABAP multi-connect refer to SAP note 323151, or the iSeries note 445872.
    However, the JAVA part of the WebAS provides means to open secondary connections against any database which support a JDBC driver. The BW UDI connector (which uses that ability) might also support the Hyperion database. I'm not familar with their plans.
    Hope that helps.

  • Does Apple TV support wireless connection to the new MacBook Pro retina in an extended display mode?

    Does Apple TV support wireless connection to the MacBook Pro retina display in an extended display mode? What is the output resolution and is sound also transmitted across?

    SB1983, by extended display do you mean mirror?  All MBP since early 2011 support it if they are running OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.  The resolution will depend on your Apple TV (2 Gen is 720 and 3rd Gen 1080) and wifi, it will lose some quality but I find it minimal.  It does also mirror the sound.

    No, I'm afraid not. We only support 9.2.0.8 or 10g. There is no longer support for 8i.

  • Unix: SQL Server Connection with ODBC (CRsqls24.so)

    Hi,
    I almost find no information how to set up a SQL Server connection using ODBC on a unix platform.
    This is what I get when I try to refresh my crystal report on my BO Server (4.1):
    "The viewer could not process an event. Error in file XXX.rpt:
    Error loading database information"
    .) is the port number really separated from the server by comma? (http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir4/en/xi4sp10_data_acs_en.pdf)
    .) where is the right place to speficy the SQL Server isntance name (SQLInstanceA in this case)? I didn't find any information about that?
    [MYDB]
    Driver=/opt/BOBJ/xir4/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/aix_rs6000/odbc/lib/CRsqls24.so

    Description=MYDB
    HostName=100.10.10.10,1433\SQLInstanceA
    Database=MYDB
    QuotedId=Yes
    AnsiNPW=No
    LogonID=ABC
    Password=abc123
    Thanks!

    First off, let me say that in the past (pre v9) when I've tried to use Windows logins with datasources, it never worked.  But that doesn't mean that they finally got it working, just that I stopped trying.
    What I was referring to in my post is that once you have CF installed, you need to go to the Windows Services screen, open each of the CF processes, click on the LOGIN tab, and change it from the default services login to be whatever WIndows login you have setup in Active Directory.  Then restart CF so that it's process is now running under that login with its credentials.  Then go to SQL Admin and setup that same login and give it access to the database you want to access.  Then go to CF Datasource menu and setup the datasource as you did previously.  If CF's support of Windows authentication for datasources does in fact now work, you should be in business.
    If it doesn't work, then you'll need to do as I said earlier, and setup SQL logins for the CF servers to use, and then in the CF Datasource setup screens you would specify that login info in the same way that you would have given it the "sa" login info.

  • My new airport express does not connect my printer to my computer?  My old airport did! then I updated to OS 10.9.2.  How do I get it connected?

    My new airport express does not connect my printer to my computer.  The old airport did.  I recently updated to OS 10.9.2.  I have since bought a new
    HP 6700 all in one wireless printer,  got the latest Comcast router.  None of which connect to my computer wirelessly.  Which do I throw away the printer, router, or Mac?  Help

    Contact HP for support.
    Explain that you are using a Mac, anticipate the inevitable groan, and wait patiently for their resident Mac expert to return from vacation.
    Until then download and install its driver here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=5058338&cc=us&dlc=en &lc=en
    Otherwise return the printer and purchase one from a company that visibly supports OS X. HP isn't on that list.

  • Carrier issues, Iphone 3gs: Carrier is in the carrier list but does not connect = no service

    Right introduction, I live in the country signal for iphones under 02 in my area is 3-4 bars of GPRS signal. This is plenty to make and receive calls, texts and all that as use home wifi for internet simple. Everything working fine for about a year of having the phone, then did updates and started to see the "no service"  almost all the time and had to place my iphone in a signal spot just to get 1-2 bars and couldn't touch it without dropping out! Basically I could not use it at all and the crap about the signal now showing true signal is rubbish as before i could make calls fine and no drops, but now due to "no service" i can't make any calls or texts or anything. I have a ipod touch when nothing HAS CHANGED other than i can think when the update to 4.0 came along! I have been living with this for almost a year. I have done every possible solution, apple stores, 02 stores, new sim cards (many), every type of phone resetting possible, manually turning off 3g and other settings to turning everything off bar just basic GPRS signal. Network resets everything possible no joy what so ever.
    I have been paying for a year now for a phone that i can't use anywhere other than right next to a signal tower! Yes the phone connects to GPRS, EDGE, 3G when in town but just about. Before these problems i could get max 3G signal in my local town no issues but now struggle to get 1 bar of 3g in a town as well. The problem is I used to be able to use my phone as a phone where i needed to use the phone. Now i can't use the phone anywhere and get drop calls all the time when i do manage to get signal!!!!!!!
    Now i can't even connect to 02, yet at home under a manual carrier search all UK networks appear on the list including 02, I click on 02 and it comes up with the warning "network lost see settings" So my phone CAN find signal but does not connect to 02. This has been the case for a long time now and as stated before several sim cards latter and plenty of trips to apple and changes of phone make NO difference which makes me believe this is a software issue on apple's part. I only started getting these issues when the iphone 4 came out and updated the ios. Now what can i do, i can not downgrade the ios as i never jailbreaked my phone so don't have the files stored that i should to be able downgrade. Apple are offering 0 help with this, all i want to do is smash it to bits as it no longer works as a phone. I have to use a 10 year old nokia to call and actually use my contract that I PAY FOR. I PAID FOR MY PHONE and just after the warranty runs out as well and it seems all a software problem.
    I have searched all over the net to find no solutions to my problems this is a last resort before i do actually smash the thing and I love apple to bits but come on a simple software issue.
    I mean isn't it silly that i can't downgrade my ios and that apple don't support this and yet my issue seems to lie in there update.
    I know that the signal update reworked the algorithm to show true signal XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX um no it doesn't as now i have 0 signal as before i had no problems what so ever with dropping calls and the signal showing right so WHY WHY WHY.
    Please help I am so frustrated with things and need to solve this issue. Please ask anymore questions if you want more details about anything, i need to sort this out please.
    By the way i am running ios 4.3.3 yet bellow in the options this is not stated?? I have been updating hoping that it gets solved but only seems to get worse the more i update.
    Thanks
    James
    Thanks

    Same problems, unfortunatley I updated to 5.0 1 hour before going on holiday for three weeks and no way to restore my phone to try to remove it.At the same time, drop outs, range problems and the most annoying was my music and apps were corrupted and would not function properly :-(

  • 5th gen ipod does not connect to mac desktop or itunes

    My ipod does not connect with my desktop or itunes (ie when I plug the ipod in using the original USB cable nothing happens--no charging no recognition that it has been connected). My nano does work with the same cable so I know it's not that. I've followed the support instructions resetting, downloading the latest software and restarting. I cannot, however, restore since the first step of the instruction is to connect the ipod and wait for it to show in the source list in itunes. It is also interesting that when I use the car charger the ipod does charge and shows the charging icon.
    Any suggestions?

    I guess i can lend my voice to the conversation. my ipod "locks up" when i connect to my computer also. i just updated itunes and have not been able to connect. there is no ipod folder on my computer when i search through ""finder". i have to "reset" it after i disconnect to continue to play it. i have done everything short of "restoring" due to i have over 3000 songs and i'm unable to back up. the manuel refers to a disk to update. i can only play songs, and recharge. need help to.
