like the @Variable('BOUSER') can get the current user of the webi or universe, does @Variable() can get the locale infomaiton of the enduser?

@Variable provides a default list of options.

I don't know how you have a Tape Recorder icon on your Home Screen. I cannot add one myself. But, I am running Holo Launcher in replacement of the default LG "Optimus" User Interface. It's much better in my opinion.

No such thing. It's a single package, all or nothing.
Actually, I figure Lr is pretty much worthless anyway, at least to me, so I think of the Photography Plan as a 50% reduction on Photoshop, period.

Geez, maybe people over 60 shouldn't have iPhones, iTunes just bafles me.

If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

How much $$ do you care to spend to transfer the data on the LC's 40 or 80 MB hard drive? The original LC is now 21 years-old and has little if any market value (I know - I have an LC I and an LC III), so professional repair will easily exceed that. It's considered "obsolete" by Apple's authorized repair shops, so parts are not available. Was it starting up normally before it stopped working, and if so, were the date & time always correct after it had been disconnected from an electrical outlet? If not and if startups have been hit or miss for a while, your LC undoubtedly needs a new PRAM battery installed. It's a 3.6-volt ½AA lithium battery and is installed in a black plastic holder w/retainer cover clipped over it on the LC's motherboard. The battery can be purchased at battery specialty retailers for about $8 or less, as well as from a number of online merchants. If you don't mind paying 2-3 times the value of the battery, Radio Shack carries it. If you need directions for installing the battery, post back. It's the least expensive thing to try and a new battery has brought many a dead Mac back from the dead. As for the internal hard drive, it could be removed and installed in a slightly newer, pre-G3 Power Mac having an internal SCSI bus. If there are any thrift stores in your area, you might find a suitable Mac for this purpose. This would involve removal of the hard drive from the LC and installation in the newer Mac, with a slight change in the LC's SCSI address jumper placement. How does the local copy of the universes work?

To whom it may concern:
We are using BO 6.5.1.Normally the local copy of the used universes will be updated from the repository when we open BO documents and select universes. However, recently we found that this "update" sometimes failed and cause an message windows full of garbage messages. We have to delete the universe we used under "C:\Documents and Settings\53170\Application Data\Business Objects\Business Objects 6.0\universes" and, then, the "update" resumes.
Please provide me with the knowledge about how the local copy of universes updates? And, how to avoid the above problem? Thank you!

Hi Yun,
Following information might help you to resolve the issue.
Whenever you alter and export the universe to the repository, Business Objects does not automatically update the local copies of the universes on each machine.
Only when the users access to the same (altered) universe next time or makes a report from that universe from there local machine, then Business Objects first compares the altered universe with that of old universe (local copy) stored in the machine, only then Business Objects imports the altered universe in the useru2019s machine or replaces the old copy with the altered one.
Solution:
In BusinessObjects, click on Tools > Options > General tab. Place a check in the box to 'Automatically import universes'.
End users will now import the updated copy of the universe whenever they open the report.

When we deploy in the Portal weblogic server, Application is deploying with out any errors. But it is not showing any login page when I start the PTLoginMain.portal file.

Are you accessing the server from Windows or Linux?
- On Linux try editing the /etc/hosts file and add something like: 10.241.110.105 server1.etcetera
- On Windows try editing the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and add something like: 10.241.110.105 server1.etcetera
When this works, contact your system administrator and ask him or her to map an ip to your hostname in DNS and DHCP
such that the servername automatically resolves the ip-address
