Does VMIC driver support LV RT8.2?

Hello,
Using VMIC-5565 instrument driver for LV, I am trying to setup reflective memory VMIC-5565 on LV RT 8.2. My problem is how to setup VMIC-5565 on RT and it is not detected on MAX.
First, after installed the driver which is provided from GE FANUC, I traced Driver Installation steps on Readme.rtf with below driver VIs components.
http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=E3B19B3E919C659CE034080020E748...
Second, I rebooted Host PC. Third, based on the below topic, I transferred V65_d_RT.inf or v65_n_RT.inf file into /ni-rt/system/ on PXI RT via FTP and rebooted PXI.
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=205697&query.id=518780#M205697
However, LEDs on VMIC-5565 did not turn on and the board was not detected on MAX. What is the cause of the problem? What else should I do in next?  Some topics regarding VMIC-5565 on NI web are helpful to me, but if there are any other actions to setup it, please let me know. I hope that I will hear from you sometime soon.
My PXI configuration :
PXI-1042Q
PXI-8106RT
VMIC-5565 (GE FANUC Reflective memory)
LabVIEW 8.2, LabVIEW RT 8.2
NI-VISA 4.1, DAQmx 8.5.0f3
Thanks,
Tsugo

Hi,
I'm using VMIC-5565 card with Labview Real Time. At the beginning, ı have also some problems but now it works well. I use real time deskop not a PXI controller, but perpaps i can help.
First of all, you said "after installed the driver which is provided from GE FANUC"
You shouldn't install any driver except supplied from NI web page. In your case, you have two driver in your computer; one is provided by GE FANUC and one is gotten from NI webpage,. They are NOT used together. ( most probably your operating system is congused because of the multiple driver)
So you need to uninstall one (provided by GE FANUC) and try again

Is there a particular version of the jdbc zip file that we need?
We're running on a Sequent, which does yet have the latest version of oracle- we're running Oracle 8.0.5.
Is it 40 bit or 128 bit encryption?

    I have this sample code:
    String Query = "ALTER USER ? IDENTIFIED BY ? QUOTA 0 ON SYSTEM QUOTA 0 ON TEMP";
    PreparedStatement pstmt = conn.prepareStatement(Query);
    pstmt.setString(1,"\"TESTVIPIN\"");

  • Does qlc driver support SNIA 1.0?

I am facing problem at customer site.
Subsequent calls to HBA_GetNumofAdapters() returns 4 more adapters. There are actually 4 qlogic hba's.
(my application loads SNIA hbaapi library once, after specific interval it calls HBA_GetNumofAdapters() & other hba apis)
I suspect that either it is bug in qlogic hba driver, OR qlogic hba driver is not attached to hba's and if qlc driver is attached to qlogic hba, does it support SNIA 1.0? i.e. is SNIA libhbaapi library able to load/communicate with qlc driver?

    I appreciate your contributions, Lyle.

  • Does AirPort Extreme support external drives with Advanced Format (4K) ?

    Hi!
I have an AirPort Extreme from 2008 and now i want to use a Raid 1 USB HDD for Time Machine.
The new disks often has the new "Advanced Format" (4K blocks).
Does this APE support such 4k drives?
At the moment i don't have any experience with this new format,
for this reason i don't know if the APE or the hdd case has to support this format.
    regards
    Sebastian

    1) I'm using a simple USB Disk, connected to my APE, as Time Machine Backup Volume. This works quite well for about a year.
Yes, for a few folks it does appear to work for a number of days, weeks, or months. But sooner or later, the backups turn up corrupted, often beyond repair. It happens to me about eery 3 months, which seems fairly typical. That's likely why Apple doesn't support it, and nobody should depend on it.
    2) The RAID Case shows only a single disk to the connected device, raid 1 handling ist internal and so it's again just a simple usb disk.
Correct. I didn't say otherwise. In a supported location, Time Machine will back up to a hardware RAID set (but not a software one).
    3) The link with the supported disks doesn't handle the new disk format 4k. :-/ Maybe the support entry is too old.
Note that it's a 2008 Airport Extreme; that predates the support article by at least a couple of years.
But by all means, call AppleCare if you don't believe the support article.

does mountain lion support install from a RAID drive?

Apple does not support the 3rd party drives.  To enable it (without installing another software package), you can visit the website:
    http://digitaldj.net/2011/07/21/trim-enabler-for-lion/
I ran the series of commands on my Mac Pro and it did enable TRIM.
the webpage even has a backup/back-out procedure.
Without TRIM, my computer was running extremely slowly.  After enabling TRIM, my computer ran substancially faster.

    Er, I got another question
I'm now looking at this hitachi model:
    http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?id=210&pc=dealtime#
which has good reviews (probably for others in the range). I originally saw it on ebay but it turns out to be cheaper buying it from the above supplier.
The question I have is does the MS 6382 support serial ATA? I'm reasonably sure that the above drive is parallel ATA (ie compatable with the MS 6382) because of the manufacturer's info here:
    http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/d7k250/d7k250.htm
but I thought I'ld ask before I order it or in case I change my mind (again).

  • Printer Driver Support for Computers Running Windows 8 Release Preview

Printer driver support for computers running Windows 8 Release Preview
HP is working to help customers have the best experience with HP printers connected to PCs running the final release of Windows 8. The pre-release time is a development period when HP develops and tests printer driver solutions. HP’s current plan is for Windows 8 compatible printers to be available when the new operating system is released to the public. HP is working with Microsoft to include drivers in the Windows 8 operating system for HP printers introduced in recent years.
There may be a variety of sources for a printer driver/solution for your HP printer on a computer running Windows 8 Release Preview.
    inOS:
An in-Operating System (inOS) driver is a basic driver that is included within the operating system. You do not need to download or install any software from HP. Windows 8 Relase Preview contains several inOS drivers. If an inOS driver is available for your printer, you will have at least basic print capability with USB and Network and basic scan capability with USB only (if your printer supports scanning).
    Windows Update:
There might be a more functional or more up-to-date driver available for your printer through Microsoft Windows Update. If Windows Update is enabled, then the Windows Update process activates automatically when you connect (USB and Network connections) the printer to the computer. It searches online for the most recent print driver on the Windows Update site. If the online driver is more functional than the currently installed driver in Windows 8, the computer downloads and installs this driver.
    HP Supplied Printer Driver/Solutions:
Although HP does not formally support any pre-release versions of Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 8 Release Preview, we may supply some full functionality drivers* prior to the official release of Windows 8. These drivers may be supplied as a courtesy to our valued HP customers through this Support Forum, though no formal support will be available otherwise. We welcome feedback within these support forums. Please check back for further updates as the official release of Windows 8 approaches.
    * Full feature drivers provide full product functionality, plus valuable software to help you get the most out of your printer.

  • Does the iPhone support "Disk Use"

Does the iPhone support "Disk Use" like the iPod?

You can purchase a Mac Mini for $600. Connect your existing monitor, keyboard, and mouse to it and you have a Mac that includes a CD/DVD drive.
If not, once you factor in the same hardware doing a side by side comparison with a PC box assembler, a Mac is not as expensive or more expensive as you might think. Take out needing to purchase anti-virus, anti-spyware and anti-adware software and the associated annual renewal cost, along with access to software included on a Mac that probably requires an additional purchase with a PC such as iLife, and the cost difference is decreased.
That and the ability to run Windows natively on a Mac if needed or wanted, and you basically have two computers for the price of one. The cost comes down even more with this factored in.

  • Does Premiere Pro support a "self-record" mode?

Does Premiere Pro support a "self-record" mode? It would record a new video with the source being what you are previewing, in terms of "animation" rather than in terms of the quality seen on screen. I often like to make humorous effects by dragging the time indicator back and forth, and have to resort to recording my own screen while in semi-fullscreen mode, then import that video and crop out the chrome. This obviously is not optimal and results in significant quality loss. Does Pr itself have such a feature built in?
I doubt it does, but it would be extremely useful.

Ditto what mark said. The intended purpose of the project manager is basically to do just as you said. It was a great solution for anyone that wanted to store the few usable minutes of their media and were confident in just discarding the rest. The problem is that, as Mark said, it doesn't handle the trimming of all common file types these days. That's because, in video, 'destructive' editing is always a matter of re-exporting edited versions and project manage simply cannot export every format to any format. The original files are never actually being trimmed down, you're just getting new versions to replace the old ones with. This represents another drawback in the form of generational loss. That's why the Project Trimmer many not be the ideal solution for you even if it is able to trim all applicable formats for you.
I tend to agree with Jim and thing that the better way to go is with Prelude. With that app, you can log what you want before hand and then capture (or, more accurately, 'Ingest') just those parts from the start. Still, it might be a good idea to save the original footage on memory card(s), hard drive(s)s (or , dare I say, tape(s_?). That way if you find out later that you didn't capture (or ingest) all of what you wanted, you can always go back and get it. Also you'll have an additional backup which could easily be re-captured from the original source if you've save the prelude project(s).

  • LabVIEW RT driver support for CEI-620?

    Hi All,
I am using PXI-8106 to run heavy-duty communication and one chasis holds the CEI-620 card (third party ARINC429 card from GE, formerly Condor Engineering).  Currently  on the PXI controller only runs LabVIEW RT (Pharlap) since I did not want to install Windows OS to slow the performance.  Now here it is the problem, GE does not provide LabVIEW RT driver support for CEI-620 (they do have LabVIEW RT support for CEI-830 though, but that card is PMC interface). Basically right now MAX can not recognize the CEI-620 card on the host side, and I can not deploy my ARINC429 application VI to the target PXI controller. I am wondering anybody here has encountered the same problem and develop the LabVIEW RT driver for CEI-620 on his own?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Unfortunately I don't have much more information to offer.  I would suggest checking to make sure you have all the correct device information whe you create the ini file.  I think you should still be able to develop a driver for a poll based device.  It should be easier to generate an ini file if you do not require interrupt information.  Make sure you have the correct identification information and try using the VISA Driver Development Wizard again.

Does SAP ECC6 support advance tax return (rfumsv00)/GST reporting for USA and Canada?

    Hello
    I think it does.
    However please check this
In some countries, you cannot use the general program for tax returns to create the annual tax return because of specific national reporting requirements. For these countries, SAP delivers additional country-specific programs to meet these reporting requirements.
For the individual country-specific reports, see the General Ledger menu under Reporting ® Tax Reports.
The program RFUSVX10 performs the data medium exchange, allowing you to transfer the DME file to a hard drive or diskette. You can find more information on this topic in the program documentation.
