Does weblogic server 10.3.6 & 10.3.5 supported on oracle linux 5.8 ?

I am trying to install weblogic server 10.3.6 on Oracle linux 5.8 (64-bit) platform. While creating domain , it does not take any input in password & conform password fields on "configure administrator username and password page". The field remains blank. I am stuck at this point and not able to create domain. The same issue is with weblogic 10.3.5 server. The java i used is jdk1.7 update 3 and jdk 1.6 update 27. In Both the cases i am not to create domain.
Can anyone of you tell me if weblogic 10.3.6 is supported on Oracle linux 5.8 platform. If it is supported any idea how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance,
Padma

No, but you can create a custom CertPath provider for your own implementation.

  • Does weblogic server include an LDAP server

Does weblogic include an LDAP server? Is one available via an add on? If so
    what is the cost?
    Thanks,

No ... it supports LDAP for authentication purposes through its LDAP realm
implementation, and many sites use Netscape Directory Server with WebLogic,
but WebLogic doesn't include a directory server.

  • Does Weblogic server 8.1 support "LIMIT and OFFSET" in EJB QL?

    hi,
Can any one tell me does 8.1 server support "limit" and "offset" keywords in EJB-QL?
I tried to define a finder method in the workshop with the following syntax:
    @ejbgen:finder ejb-ql="SELECT OBJECT(o) from EmpBean OFFSET ?1 LIMIT ?2" generate-on="Local" signature="Collection findEmp(java.lang.Integer st,java.lang.Integer en)"
    I get the following error
ERROR: ERROR: Error from ejbc: [EJB:011017]Error while reading 'META-INF/weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml'. The error was:
    ERROR: Query:
         EJB Name: EmpBean

         Parameter Types: (java.lang.Integer, java.lang.Integer)
    SELECT OBJECT(o) from EmpBean OFFSET =>> 1 <<= LIMIT 2
    EJB QL Parser Error.
    39: unexpected token: 1
    What am I doing wrong?
    thanks

<p>I could not find any documentation that suggested LIMIT or OFFSET where supported. Some of our developers needed to use limit, in the end all I could suggest was using a dynamic query and setting the maximum number of results see here

  • Does weblogic server 6.1 version allows installation in target destination having spaces?

    All BEA users,
I am facing some BEA related problem.
I am writing a installer that silently installs BEA 6.1.
The installer then calls a cmd file that will create a windows service and later
    will start this service.
What I have noticed is that if I give the destination path as say
"C:\Program Files\CompanyName\ProductName" then it creates the windows service
but it doesnot start the service.
Whereas if I give the path as say "C:\CompanyName\ProductName" then it creates
    and starts the service.
I wanted to know whether this is a limitation with BEA? I haven't read any where
about this limitation in the BEA site.
    Thanks in advance,
    A

  • TopLink issues using Weblogic Server 8.1 SP3 and MAC OS X with Oracle 9i

Hi, I have successfully deployed my EJB (entity bean) on WLS 8.1 (the generic version) on Mac OS X. I also have installed Apple jdk 1.4.2 and everything seems to be ok. The server came up without any problem and can connect to my Oracle DB. I verify this from Weblogic console. However, when I try to access the bean (create/find), I got this AbstractMethodError exception. Can anyone help ?
Thanks for any help/pointer you can provide.

  • WebLogic Server 9.2 MP3 compatibility with WLS 9.2

My companies product currently supports WebLogic Server 9.2.x.
Is WebLogic Server 9.2 fully compatibile with WebLogic Server 9.2 MP3?
And, what does the MP3 acronym stand for, please.
Edited by: [email protected] on Feb 6, 2009 2:01 PM

When your product is certified on Weblogic Server 9.2.x, it means it supports WLS 9.2.3(9.2 MP3). As David says MP3 is the Maintenance Pack Release(Bug fix).
Generally companies would test their products on a particular weblogic version before certifying it as supported for their product.

  • Patches for Weblogic Server 10.3.0

    Hi,
I am currently using the Weblogic Server 10.3.0 version in which the handling of Multiple Result set is not working properly which works fine in the Weblogic server version 10.3.3. When analysed futher I came to know that the weblogic driver that is being used in the server 10.3.3 is 9x whereas in 10.3.0 it is 8x.
Also when I browsed through sites I came to know that the Server 10.3.0 will support the driver version upto 8x. Hence please let me know if there are any patch available for to accomdate the same functionality of driver 9x in the Weblogic Server 10.3.0
    Thanks in Advance,
    Bhooma

It does, WebLogic Server - JDBC
Just download the latest version of the ojdbcX.jar and put it in your
WLS server\lib directory to replace the one already there (same name).
We will/have to support the latest appropriate driver for/with any
    currently supported DBMS version.
