Does Windows Me OS Support Oracle 8i ?

Let me appologies as it is wrong place Where I am posting as I didn't get add posting menu.
I have downloaded Oracle 8i Personal edition for Win 98 but I do have Windows Me OS. I was trying to installed it but I am getting error stating that
" THERE WAS PROBLEM IN ACCESSING STAGING AREA,PLEASE MAKE SURE THE SPECIFIED VALUE FOR SOURSE AND DESTINATIONS ARE VALID"
My Sourse where I have downloaded software is "C:\net\ora\STAGE\products.jar"
My Destination where I would like to installe software is
"C:\ORACLE\ORA81"
I have tried all alternatives but I failed.
Please Help Me.
1) Is it possible to installed Oracle 8i on Windows Me Operating system when it is availbale for Win 98?
2) If not then From where will I get Oracle 8i which will support Windows Me. Any ?????????
It would be very nice if someone could take a little time off to help me with some reference material or documentation somewhere so that I can get an idea as to what I need to do! I'd sincerely appreciate it.

Go to the 8iLite discussion group. That has the information you are looking for.
I assure you, Personal Oracle 8i does work on ME. It just takes more work than if you had used Win98.

we have Oracle 10g application server on top of oracle 10.1.0.2.0 database on AIX. we are looking forward to migrate oracle 10g database from
AIX platform to windows 2008 server. so i need to be 100 sure that windows 2008 support oracle 10g,if not if we migrate oracle 11g then oracle 1og application
server work on top of 11g database. please assist me.

Window 7 not support oracle version

**Hello,**
**when i try to install Oracle 10g (102010_win64_x64_database ) on a fresh Set up Windows 7 i get an error Message.**
**It say's my Version is 6.1 failed and only Versions: 5.1,5.2 are valid.**
**On the other side that the Windows 7 should be supported Oracle Version oracle10XE. (which i tried to install)**
**Got any idea what to do, or when it will be supported? Pls inform me which one support(oracle version) windows 7 operating system ?**

If you check the software supported on Windows 7 (on Microsoft site) you'll see that even Oracle 11.1
is not compatible on it:

It's recommended to use Windows XP or Windows Vista SP1 instead (I have 10g XE and APEX 3.2.1 with
Vista SP1 on my PC) . On Windows 7 you may have a feature so as to emulate these OS when you install
a software.

Does Windows 8.1 support NVMe admin commands to access SMART info from SSD?

Hi, we are developing and testing our new "NVMe SSD" and toolbox.
When we try to get SMART info from our NVMe SSD at Windows 8.1, we are having troubles that Windows 8.1 seems not pass "Get Log page" command which is one of NVMe admin commands.
However, we can successfully get SMART info from SATA-based SSD without any issues.
So, just wondering if Windows 8.1 natively support all NVMe admin commands, or we need to develop our own special driver instead of Windows in-box driver (StorNVMe.sys).

Hi HJ,
StorNVMe.sys supports the admin commands internally. On win8.1, the miniport driver doesn't allow NVMe pass-though commands thus you cannot get NVMe log out of the driver.

Does Windows 8.1 support Adobe Digital Editions 2

I have an Archos 9.0 eReader. Adobe Digital Editions has always worked on Windows 8 but since upgrading to Windows 8.1, I am unable to download from Windows 8.1 to the eReader. Should I delete the Adobe Digital Editions file and download a newer version.
Any help would be much appreciated.

ADE2.0.1 sort of works for me, going through the Win 8 to 8.1 upgrade without deterioration.
I don't actually use it to transfer to my eReader (Sony PRS-350),
as bugs in ADE2.0/2.0.1 mean that it will not work with that eReader and Overdrive library books.
That isn't an OS version isssue, but an ADE bug.

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1). Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically.
It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.
Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

As per http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10530_01/doc/epm.931/hsys9_install_start_here_933.pdf, Office 2010 32 bit and Win 7 are supported for 9.3.3.

Photoshop does not have touch support. however some touch devices drivers have features the can be set to Photoshop Functions. For example
Tablets that have drivers that use Wintab API for pen support can be used with Photoshop Brush Pen support. Tablets that use Microsoft Ink API for pen support can not be used with Photoshop for Adobe does not have support for Microsoft INK API for Adobe states the INK API lack features used by Photoshop Brush engine.

Get an Error window, The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files

I am using CS2 and it would not open up my latest RAW files, I was getting a warning Could not complete your request because it is not the right kinds of document. So, I checked the Camera Raw Plug-in and it says Version 3.7. I see that my camera an Olympus E-20 is supported. But it is not opening the Raw files, the day before I took jpeg and they have opened. I will not trash my Adobe Photoshop CS2 because it was a royal pain to install and I don't know where the CD is.
I installed the latest DNG Converter and when I try to open up the folder which has all the RAW images that didn't open in Adobe, I still get an Error window that says, "The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files." Why? It says it supports my Olympus E-20. I actually have the E-20n, I don't think that is the problem. My RAW icons usually show up as small image thumbnails and this time they are gray icons only with the incorrect date under the icon. Is there another product I can use without spending money? These images I took in RAW were special and I don't want to lose them. Please help!

Hello, I was using only CS2 with my Olympus E-20n for 5 years, no problem. It just started acting up in RAW this year. I downloaded Picasa that same day and now it seems to be opening up all of my RAW files that didn't open the other day. So, I think Picasa installed a new plug-in adaption to CS2 because now all my RAW icons have a new logo on them, the same one that's in Picasa. Strange, but it works now and I am not complaining anymore. I love CS2 and the many ways I can adjust RAW files, so I am using it, Picasa is a sideline now that I can take a look at many thumbnails and it organized all my photo files by the year and folders. Amazing free software. I have probably 60,000 images in my computer and an external hard drive and Picasa picked them all up and made a library, cool.

Currently in our environment we are having Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64bit DB which is replicated via oracle golden gate version 11.1.1.1.2. As per the application team requirement we need to migrate this database to 12C.

Why do you think it will not support 12c database ?
From a Golden Gate perspective you need to create schema and use that. As you are moving to 12c database, ideally you should think of upgrading Golden Gate 11.1 to 12c so you can use new feature such as Multi Threaded replicate etc..

Based on the feature set, yeah it would support SharePoint 2010, but I wouldn't recommend it. Server 2012 Foundation must be a Domain Controller or in a Workgroup, neither of which are good scenarios for a SharePoint installation.
