Does wwi supports tiff or png extension of pictogram file

Hello Exper
I tried to output .png and .tiff file in wwi but for some reason it is not outputting .png .
Any help ?

Dear S P
in most cases we have two types of WWI installations. One locally on your client and one on gen server (more than one gen server in most cases).there is a subfolder available to store graphic files (i believe callrd "graphic". To print graphic files you have these options:
a.) by using user defined text
b.) by using phrases
c.) by using identifiers
d.) or via parameter symbols
WWI will always try to locate the graphic file in same folder. Clearly if graphic is not stored there is can not display it. So on any local WWI installation (for action e.g.) "Report from template) you nned the graphic files and for "Create report" oin nay Gen Server the file must be there
But WWI is based on WinWord and clearly WinWordcan use "Png" files. Graphic files are not stored in SAP DMS !
C.B.
PS: WWI tries to "incorporate" the graphic using the "folder" structure of WWI.
PPS: topic of graphic has been  discussed often; only as examples:
How to create the graphic symbol in WWI templates
SAP EHS WWI Graphic Rotation
WWI error: Graphic file has invalid format
Are *.wmf graphic files supported by WWI?
Diplay multiple Graphic Phrases within WWI report (EHS)
wwi insert graphics
WWI: Rotate graphics from phrases on a template
WWI template - blank compression with graphics
Graphic is not printed while printing label

  • The server does not support the requested critical extension (0x8007202c)

    Hello guys,
    The sympton is the same as the one in "The
    server does not support the requested critical extension." Exception.
    I got the error in calling IDirectorySearch::GetNextRow. As I observe, the error is trigger when retrieving the another page of records. The LDAP path to connect is "GC://<FQDN_of_GC>". The search filter is (&(|(objectClass=group)(objectClass=msExchDynamicDistributionList))(mailnickname=*)).
    There are about 100 thousands of group objects in the forest. So the answer in that thread does not help.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks.

    Hi Michael,
    Thanks for your remind of the server is Windows 2008 R2.
    After deep research on this topic, there were a couple of possible causes. One was based on asking AD to do sorting on the results of the query. Our calls to AD do not do any sorting at all. The other I came to was a couple of pages that may help alleviate
    the problem of groups in large AD environments. It has to deal with the temporary table size that Active Directory uses, with the tunable parameter MaxTempTableSize.
    The articles as below are for your reference:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/95bfb95f-4e43-4dd8-ac3a-0c89d2cf528e
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315071
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms677927(VS.85).aspx
    Besides, if the above is not the cause of our issue, there may be something wrong in the C# code. Since I just an AD engineer and not familiar with the C# code, I suggest you should involve one C# code engineer to work with us about this issue. After doing
    many research, please add the class of the object when searching. For example, “DirectorySearcher ds = new DirectorySearcher(de, filter,class)”. I’m not sure if it’s correct, just a suggestion.
    Hope to hear good news from you soon. Happy X'MAS day!
    Best regards,
    Bryan

  • Does Lion support the old microsoft word for MAC files?

    Does Lion support the old microsoft word for MAC  files? I have heard that if i down load  Lion then my Word files for Mac will not function or work. Is this true?? I don't want to download Lion if this happens.

    The file type does not matter, the program you use to open the file does.
    You need a newer version of word (or a third party program).
    You can use openoffice as well.

  • Captivate 7 App packager Browser does not support some of the content message

    Hi
    I have succesfully creating a training app using the app packager for IOS (and to a certain extent android), however when you start the app a message starts up saying :"This browser does not support some of the content in the file you are trying to view.  Use IE 9 or later, Safari 5.1 or later etc. "  The interesting thing is that I am using the latest versions of both safari and chrome?
    I checked out the javascript and and althouth there is an "if then" test, clearly it is not testing correctly.  Has someone got a fix for this e.g. modifications to the code to make it work?

    2. 150 kbytes/s down 10 kytpes/s up guaranteed for youtube.com

    You can open the image file in Firefox via File > Open file or by dragging the file in a Firefox tab, possibly on empty space on the tab bar or the new tab (+) button.
    Then you can click the star on the Navigation Toolbar to bookmark the link if that is what you want to achieve.

  • Does Reader support saveas conversion to tiff?

    Hello,
    I am working on a form that has javascript to save the document as TIFF images.  The scripting works fine in both Adobe Standard and Pro.  However, when the document is saved as "Reader Extended PDF" in pro then opened in Reader X, the file conversion run by the submit button fails.
    I have read that Adobe Reader X had issues where it only supported save functions to temp or appdata folders, but an update (10.1?) was supposed to address this issue.
    The code in the folder level js file is:
    mySaveAs = app.trustPropagatorFunction(function(doc, path)
         app.beginPriv();
            doc.saveAs(path, "com.adobe.acrobat.tiff");
         app.endPriv();
    myTrustedSpecialTaskFunc = app.trustedFunction(function(doc, file_path)
         // Privileged and/or non-privileged code above
         app.beginPriv();
    try{
              mySaveAs(doc, file_path);
    app.alert("Thank You - File Has Been Saved And Will Print Next",3);
    }catch(e){
    app.alert("Could Not Save File - Please Contact Administrator");
    this.print({bUI: false, nStart:1, nEnd:1, bSilent: true, bShrinkToFit: true});
    this.closeDoc(true);
    app.openDoc("/C/waivers/myfile.pdf");
         app.endPriv();
    Code under button is:
    // Get the field value
    var fn = this.getField("PrintedFullName").valueAsString;
    // Specify the folder
    var fldr = "/c/waivers/";
    // Determine the full path
    var file_path = fldr + fn + "_" + myDateString() + ".tiff";
    // Save the file
    myTrustedSpecialTaskFunc(this,file_path);
    On clicking the submit button, I get the error in the app.alert above "Could Not Save File" in ReaderX, however it works perfectly in Standard or Pro.
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....this is the last hurdle before we can call this completed!  Thanks!

    Just execute that code from the JS console. If TIFF conversion is not available, then you're out of luck.
    It might be possible to develop a Reader plugin that does that, but you'll need to ask in the Acrobat SDK forum about that.
    My understanding is the JS console isn't available in reader without adding scripts, changing registry settings and then it doesn't show unless you add code to pop it up or it blows an erorr.  Is this true on Reader or is there an easier way to find this out.
    Man....I have to believe someone has run into this and just knows if Reader supports TIFF saveas versus doing a bunch of reghack to test it myself. You'd think this would just be documented clearly somewhere at Adobe. Yikes.
    Anyone know for sure before I start modding my test pilot PC just to find out?

  • Even though I have checked "Automatically open all supported TIFF's" in Camera RAw Preferences - My tiff files do not open up in camera RAW

    Even though I have checked "Automatically open all supported TIFF's" in Camera RAw Preferences - My tiff files do not open up in camera RAW - PS 6

    Sorry I'm taking to along, but I checked a few things using ACR 8.6
    Saved a png as an 8 bit tiff, then to 16 bit. Changed the background layer into a floating layer, all opened in ACR.
    It was when I added an adjustment layer, that it no longer opened in ACR.
    Now what can I recommend? If you have Lightroom, you can Import and work on your layered tiffs that way. I hope this is a viable alternative for you, because I think ACR does have a problem with layered tiffs and I don't really know of any workaround, but you are free to explore.

  • Does merging layers make smaller png images?

    Hello:
    I have a Windows 8 and I am using Photoshop CC - the most recent update.
    I am curious about something and cannot seem to find a specific answer...
    Does Merging Layers before saving the image for the web make the file size smaller?
    Or does it not matter how many (open) Layers the image has when it comes time to save it for the web?
    Thank you very much for your time.

    If you flatten before you save  for web you loos your layers, your work.  If you use save for web or save as to save an image file in a file format that does not support layers like Jpeg and PNG. Photoshop will temporary flatten the current document  change color depth to 8bit if need be, optionally convert to sRGB color space then encode the images into the file format you want to save, write the file and then revert your document to the state it was in before you did the save for web or save as.  You can then preserve you work by saving the document into a file format that supports layers, PSD, PSB or Tiff.
