Doesn't jump back to menu at the end.

After playing the last chapter it would not go back to the main menu. What is the problem?

Thanks a lot; I was looking for that jump feature until I got the answer. I had to double click on the track to get that. But what puzzles me that in all other projects I did not have to specify the jump feature. It worked without. I went to check the setting and it says jump NOT SET! Why did it jump?
Thanks anyway I will try to set jump to menu.

Muse won't let you, at least not that I know of. You could find the class in the code that muse gives it position: fixed…I think. You could paste it into the head area of your page properties to override the class. I believe something like this would give you persistent nav bar, pinned at the very top, on mobile:
#youmuseclass {position: fixed;}
I wouldn't use any parallax on mobile either, the performance is terrible.

DVDSP plays video instead of programmed jump back to menu.

After playing one video clip, DVD is programmed to end jump to the menu, but instead, it plays another video clip, from a completely different menu. There is no doubt that the end jump is definitely to the menu, not to another video clip. What is causing this phenom?

Yes, All the tracks are separate assets and separate tracks. The end jump for A is the menu from which it came.
(Menu 2, Button 2=play videoA - jumpback to menu 2) The tracks are on separate time lines.
I did fix the problem, but created a new one! (SEE BELOW, I'd love to see if you have anysuggestions for the new problem)
I think the program just freaked out.
It really did not make any sense at all. I tried to delete the one track that kept attaching itself to the wrong buttons. (track d)
(Menu 2, Button 2=play videoA - jumpback to menu 2, had become: Menu 2, button 2= play video A & video D from menu 4 button 3 then jump back two menu 2)
I deleted track D from it's proper menu and button, removed it as an asset in the button editor, removed it's button from it's menu, removed it from the graphical, and then went to remove it from the assets folder. But dvdsp told me that it could not be deleted from assets folder because is was "in use by track A and track B" That was wierd because the tracks were in no way linked.
So I deleted all the offending tracks A, D and B, and reimported them into assets and reprogramed them to the buttons in the appropriate menus.
That fixed that problem! Now the videos play as they should when the correct buttons are activated. BUT that created a new problem.
NEW PROBLEM:
Now I can not see images in the buttons for A,D, or B. That is to say, I've got fifteen buttons each is assigned a freezeframe from the buttons' target video (Button Asset). I see the video freeze frame in all the buttons except for these three. In those buttons, all i see is the background. They are all programmed just as the rest are in the button editor, the target video is assigned to the button and them the button asset is assigned to be same as target video, motion is NOT clicked as I want a single frame to be seen.
But even though the settings are the same for all the buttons, these three won't show up.
I'm thinking its like a memory problem.... but it can't be. I've got 4GHZ of ram and 400 Ghz hard drive, of which 290GHZ is available.
Any suggestions?

Jumping back to menu after chapter has palyed

Please help me. I have been going insane trying to work this out.
Here is the story. I have imported a project into dvdsp. It runs for 1hour and 45 minutes. Its of a guy playing basketball in the states. I have created four chapters which link to each of the games throughout the dvd. What I want to do though is have other links to special highlights and then at the end of the segment have it return to the menu. I have tried creating a seperate chapter for this but when it gets to the end of the special highlites it continues on to the next game. I dont want it to do this. I want it to link back to the main menu. Do I need to create these seperately in final cut pro and import it as a seperate track into dvdsp? As I mentioned, I have only one track imported with the main chapter markings olong the timeline. Am I being really stupid by missing something so easy or what. Thankyou in advance. Matty

Say I have marked on my basketball games video, chapters 1,2,3 and 4. these 4 chapters are linked to the different games. If I then want to link a highlite section - say of a guy shooting cool hoops- would I then have to go to the start point of this section in the video and make a chapter mark where it starts and another chapter mark where it finishes? These 2 new chapter marks would be numbered 5 and 6 because I already have chapters 1-4 for the games. Does it matter that chapters 5 and 6 may fall between chapters 2 and 3 on the video track. To me , it just seems strange that you have to set another chapter mark for the end point. I hope this makes sense Drew. If you could get back to me or even email me. [email protected] . It is possible to jump back to setup from the main sequence

I like to jump back to the setup sequence when I have an error in the main sequence. Is there a opportunity to jump back to setup with goto or something else.

If all you want to do is repeat Step1 again it would be a lot cleaner just to do Step1 again rather than mess with a Goto (and the logic required to make it branch forward to Step 4).

As to the question of using a Goto, well the point here is you are 'testing' and therefore it's important to test all boundary conditions and paths through your safety critical software.

HT4994 I have an Iphone 4 and can not forward calls. every time I put the number in the call forward field it jumps back a page and the button moves to off. can anyone assist.

I can not forward calls. I go to call forwarding, turn it on, copy and paste my phone number into the correct field (including the international dialling code).
I then tap the Call Forwarding button, which takes me back one stage and the Call Forwarding button goes to off after a couple of seconds. Anyone who can help?

Yes, a blocked call will go immediately to your voice mail.
If you would rather not have that behavior, ask your cellular carrier if you can block that person through the carrier.

DVD doesn't return to main menu when reaches end - Why? How?

My DVD plays through full movie and then essentially just stops at the end vs returning to the main menu. The menu button doesn't even return it at that point. What can I do to make it return to the main menu when it reaches the end?

I'm having a similar issue...
In all the previous projects I've created with iDVD, the movie always automatically returned to the DVD main menu at the very end of the presentation.
On my current project using iDVD 6.0.2 (787), this is not occuring. At the end of the DVD presentation, the screen continues to stay black until the "stop" button is depressed.
I'm obviously frustrated because I have looked everywhere in "iDVD Help" and within the on-line support discussions for an answer, but to no avail.
I don't think that it's a DVD media issue because the problem occurs on iDVD when previewing (and obviously on the DVD media after burning).
Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there a special command, tool, or secret handshake I need to provide in iMovie HD, or iDVD? Any insight is most appreciated.

Back Up failure at the end of syncing iPhone 3GS to to iTunes 10.1.2

Have an issue with backup process during sync- not sure but it may have been just since iTunes 10 update. The sync process happens ok until the end when I get an error message stating 'iTunes cannot back up the iPhone "tenorclef31's iPhone" because the backup cannot be saved on the computer.'
Any way around it? All the software/iOS is up to date. I'm a bit wary of restoring the iPhone to factory settings since (a) it is working well otherwise and most of my important stuff is either on Dropbox or synced via Exchange 2007 anyway and (b) the restore might set me back quite a bit if there has been no recent backups made.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I've had the same issue. I followed the instructions on the linked page and deleted the one backup. Now when I try to backup I get the message that it cannot backup because the backup is corrupt. I keep checking in the Setting/Devices page and there are NO backups listed. Also, the linked page says that the backups should live in the directory:
\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
(I'm running windows XP). There is no such directory. There is no "Application Data" directory under any of the Documents and Settings subdirectories. I do not want to do a restore since my phone is working ok, and doing the restore would mean that I would lose all of my Apps.

Returning to a master menu at the end

Hi, I hope someone can advise me on this.
I am planning to offer several Captivate presentations which
can be copied to a local disk, played from the CD or even online.
The viewer will select the presentation he wants to view from
an HTML page and I want Captivate to return to that page after each
presentation has finished. However, while I can enter an
http:// address if viewing online, I can't work
out what the syntax is to get it to return to the main menu,
especially if I put the presentations in a sub folder of the main
folder. Does this make sense? The problem I will have is I don't
know the physical drive letter or root folder of the main menu, so
everything needs to be relative to this start folder.
Say the menu is in \movies\menu.htm
The presentations are in \movies\presentations\movie1.htm
movie2.htm etc
How do I get the browser to find the menu.htm again after it
has finished playing movie1.htm?

Typical HTML relative path shorthand would say that ../ is
used to move up a directory level.
Based on the structure you are proposing, I would think the
links for each movie to return to the main menu would look
something like this:
../menu.htm

Screen jumps back to top of the report when a tab is clicked

Hello everyone.
I have a report that displays quite a lot of information and has a lot of tabs.
Now on my work monitor everything fits on the screen fine so there's no problem.
When someone with laptop (smaller screen) uses the report they have to scroll down to view everything which is fine. The problem is when they scroll down and click on a tab, the screen shoots back up to the very top of the report and the user has to scroll back down again.
Hopefully I explained that well enough.
Is there anything I can do to get the screen to not move when they select a tab?

Thought it was possibly a problem with the curser focus always being at the top of the screen, but changing that didn't seem to do anything.
Anyone got any ideas at all?

IPad - Jumping Back, Frame Freezes, and the Dot of...

Watching the SPFL game last night was painful enough without the iPad app doing all of the above. I wonder why the buffering spot stays on even once the video feed is obviosly working again, stopping and starting the stream clears this but I had to get off the sofa to do this and am now tired out
This was at my sisters place connected via BT BB at 5.5mbs using the 5GHz band with nothing else connected, picture out to her telly via iPad HDMI adapter. Did any of the 9 or 10 other people watching this game experience similar problems?

At the bottom of the photo tray at the right click on the Clear Placed Photos button. This will remove the photos from the pages but not from the book.

I have my iphone 4S backed up to icloud and now I can not get any calender information at all previous to September 2012. I had last backed it up at the end of January and Calender saved to icloud is "on". How can I retrieve my calenders? Help now!

Help! I recorded odometer readings on my work calender on my iphone 4S all last year and now my calenders are blank from September2012 and earlier. It is backed up to icloud. What happened and can I get that information back somehow?

Go to iCloud.com, select the calendar.
Is the information listed in the calendar?
If it is, it should be syncing to the device.
If it is not, then that information is gone.

Jumping back to the dvd menu after video ends.

Helloooo, I have Dvd Studio Pro 3.0.2.
1. When my movie/video ends it just goes to a black screen. How do I make it so it goes back to the start of the dvd menu?
I know I have to use a script or something its just how do I go about it. Is there any step by step instructions anywhere on the net for this type of thing. I have tried the dvd studio pro help and can't seem to find what i am after.
2. Also I have TWO MENUS and the first menu is like the intro, and the second is the actual menu where you play movie etc...
Can I make it so when the first menu is done playing the intro it goes to the second menu. Cause there is no timeline for the menu. I just want an intro and then the menu!

This is the help stuff in the DVD STUDIO PRO saying about the JUMP thingy for the scripts.
I have applied it and nothing happens.
I know you have to put the JUMP command and then where you want to go. (Main Menu)
Nothing happens I have tried for hours to try and get it and it doesn't go back when i use the simulator.
1 Create a script and select it.
2 Enter Ocean End as the script’s name.
Note: Enter Beach End and Trail End as the names when creating the scripts for
the other two tracks.
3 In the Script Editor, select the first command line (Nop).
4 In the Script Command Inspector, choose Jump as the command.
5 To configure the jump command, choose Tracks and Stories > Beach > Marker 1 from
the Jump To pop-up menu.
Note: Choose Tracks and Stories > Trail > Marker 1 and Tracks and Stories > Shopping >
Marker 1 when creating the scripts for the other two tracks.
6 Add a compare function to the jump command to test to see if a Play All function is
in process.
• Select the Compare Command checkbox.
• Choose GPRM 0 as the “Execute if” element to be compared to.
• Choose equal (=) as the “is” compare operation type.
• Choose Immediate as the “to” element type to compare.
• Enter 1 as the “with value.”
If GPRM 0 has a 1 in it (indicating the Play All function is in progress), this jump
command occurs. If not, the script moves to the next command line.
7 In the Script Editor, click the Add button.
The next command line (Nop) is added to the script.
8 In the Script Command Inspector, choose Jump as the command.
9 To configure the jump command, choose Menus > Main Menu > Button 1 from the
Jump To pop-up menu.
All I am guessing is that how does it know when the movie finishes. I am just putting in a jump command in. like it seems i have to do something else.
