Doesn't my exported file include the part where there is no music?

Hi,
I have created a video on After Effects. The original duration was 1:02 (as long as the video), but the client requested to add one more layer so I added at the end.
At this part the music stops and you just see the text layer.
I previewed it on After Effects and everything was looking perfect.
I opened the 'Adobe Media Encoder' in order to render the composition. The exported file though stops when the music stops! @1:02!
I have tried to figure out if there was a problem with the settings, but I wasn't able to find anything.
Is the problem with the music? or is there something else going on?

The Work Area length was correct, but I think your answer helped me figure out the problem.
I am actually using a template, so the creator has a folder with 'Comp' and 'Final Comp 1920x1080'.
Final Comp includes the 'Comp'. I had update the 'Duration' of 'Comp', but not for the 'Final Comp'. I adjusted it now.
Does this make sense? Was that the problem?

Hi, i am currently working on a project in NSTC format but seem to have a technical problem. I have exported it (in wmv.) but i want to convert it to MP4 (iPod) and DVD format. Now, I have tried to convert the video with many pieces of software and they all seem to change my timings (e.g a title is shown before it should). This doesnt happen in the .wmv file but it seems to happen on both DVD and NSTC. Am I doing something wrong in premiere or is it another problem?

I am not sure that I am following. You have a Sequence in PrP, and have your Titles positioned and their Duration set, as you need. (I'm assuming Lower Thirds, or similar). Your preview verifies that everything is proper and satisfactory. Then, when you Export to certain formats, the Titles have "moved," so that they no longer accompany the proper visual from, say Video Track 1. Is that correct? If so, I am sorry to say that I have no idea how that could happen. I just want to get clarification on the exact problem, and will consider what could be afoot. Also, others will likely benefit from a bit more info.

Export -> Master Mix - choose the File Type -> *Using Compressor*, this will give you options for re-encoding or preserving the video file.

None of my apple apps can export files, including Mail, iPhoto, Aperture and Preview.

When I try to export a file from any of these programs, the app hangs for a few seconds and then does nothing, not even open an export dialogue. Same thing happens when I try to attach a file to an email. Also, maybe related and maybe not, Photoshop will crash after the splash screen. All of these app function properly when using a different User Account.
I've tried deleting my application preferences in my user library and when that didn't work, I deleted my account and then created a new one that used the same user directory, which still didn't fix anything.
I don't really want to make a new user from scratch and have to re-enter license numbers, re-calibrate monitors, recover bookmarks, contancts, etc. etc. if I don't have to, so I would be grateful for any advice.

If the properties that you just posted are representative of your source file, what project preset did you or the
project set for the project preset? If you are not sure, please tell us the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size,
and Pixel Aspect Ratio under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General.

considering what affect this would have on the I tunes library. When I eventually
attempted to use I tunes, every selected a song from the library resulted in a
message stating that the file couldn't be located. After following some of the procedures
explained in this community I was able to reconnect the library back to where
the associated music files are presently stored. However, there are still 2
problems that need to be corrected. 1) Every song file now has a duplicate. One
file works and the other file will result in the same message stating that the
file couldn't be located. Before there were 4,000 songs in the library, now
there are 8,000 songs. I need to eliminate the 4,000 dead song files. 2) All
the playlists are still associated with the dead song files which makes the
playlists unusable. Can the playlists be reconnected to the usable files
without manually having to recreate them? Thanks in advance for the help.

You used your iPod as a hard drive (drag and drop) instead of having iTunes install the music?
If you used drag and drop your choices are different than if you used iTunes to transfer.

How to count the total lines of the file (including the file header)

I am working with Idoc to file scenario(FCC).
I need to map one of the field with a recound count ie.., count of the total lines of the file (including the file header).
Eg:Record Count-- mapping area:Total number of records in the file including file header The total line of the file (including the file header).
Can i get a help on this.

Hi !
If there is a tag of your IDOC that occurs the same quantity of times as file lines you have to create in your target file, you could make a Java user defined function in graphical mapping that "caches the entire queue" (use the corresponding option button), that receives as input that field of the IDOC, and returns the "lenght" (.length property value) of that input parameter (it is an array) as output..that should be the file line quantity..you may also add 1 to that count, for the header.

The XML format Premiere uses is not supported in FCPX. The only way I know of that may work is to go through FCP7 and then use 7toX to get to FCPX.

One is labelled Macintosh HD and the other is Recovery HD.
The computer doesn't always start up like this but it has a few times now.

This screen shows up if your holding the option/alt key down or perhaps if it's stuck or damaged.
It's called Startup Manager and shows your bootable options.
Another possible cause is your PRAM is not remmebering the System Preferences > Startup Disk selection.
Do a #2 Reset PRAM and head to System Preferences > Startup Disk and set it and hopefully that should resolve the issue.

Bridge will do the job. View > Sort > ByType. Then you can choose a group of one type and put the files in a separate folder.

What I am saying is ..........
The iPhone HAS to be active making calls on the UK carrier network for the carrier to identify as "theirs" and therefore eligible for the Carrier to unlock
The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier

Acrobat 10 is already installed in my PC. Every time I try to read a PDF file on the web, FF tries to download it instead.

As recommended above by Bernd Alheit, I posted this on the Adobe Reader forum. There, I received the advice to repair the installation under the help menu, which I did and it fixed the problem.
Similar to your solution but found it's a fix found under "HELP" menu and not Add/Remove.

First of all, are you using the OS native screen capture?
If not, make sure the application you're using has been update for Lion. I was using Snapz Pro for years, but I need to update it for use with Lion. Meanwhile Grab and the keyboard shortcuts are working on my Lion load.
If you are using the native capture mode unsuccessfully, I would run the Disk Utility and repair permissions on the drive. For some reason, even in past OS Versions, routine maintenance of permissions makes life a lot easier.
