Doesn't send me an e-mail to reset my password

I had made an Apple ID for my iPad, but when I tried to log into my Apple ID account in settings under iTunes&App Stores, it said that "Your Apple ID or password is incorrect". I repeatedly tried to log in, but it continued to inform me that it was incorrect. So then I clicked "Forgot Apple ID and Password?" in order to reset my password. However, when I chose "Email authentication" I waited and waited but an e-mail never came. I also tried this multiple times. So then after I decided to try and click "Answer security questions", but I never got to my questions because it told me that the birthdate I entered "did not match their records". Can someone help me with this problem?

    Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

    I am using the latest version of the Apple Mail application under Leopard (with all updates downloaded). About a month ago I e-mailed a friend from my home account and unusually didn’t get a reply. I then e-mailed again a few weeks after, again no reply. After a phone conversation found out she didn’t receive either of my mails. This prompted many test e-mails, the outcome of which was the following:
    1 - Was able to receive my friend’s e-mails, but if I replied using Apple mail (hitting the reply button), my reply never got back to her.
    2 - Was able to send to and receive my friend’s e-mails using MS outlook from my place of work using a PC and my work e-mail account. No problems.
    3 - Was able to send and receive to my work account from my home account using Apple Mail, no problems.
    4 - Was able to send and receive my friend e-mails from my home account, using web mail rather than using Apple Mail.
    5 - Could no longer e-mail my wife using the Apple Mail (and she could not e-mail me), we both use the same ISP. However using web mail rather than Apple Mail we could still send and receive e-mails from each other.
    6 - Phoned my ISP, my account seems to be ok, which was also confirmed by using webmail as described in the previous two points.
    7 - Other than the regular Apple updates the Mail app is the same client I have been using since I got my new Mac last October. I didn’t appear to have any problems until about a month ago and have made no changes to settings etc.
    8 - When I do attempt to send e-mails to my wife or friend, I get the usual whooshing sound and a progress bar to show that the mail has been sent. The outbox is empty and the mail appears in the sent box, but never arrives to its destination. No error messages or e-mail bounce backs, nothing.
    9 - Downloaded and installed Thunderbird, all the problems seem to go away – I can now send and receive e-mails from both my wife and friend.
    It’s a bit weird that Apple Mail seems to have taken an aversion to sending mail to some particular e-mail addresses. Unless someone can explain what is going on here, I think that this is a serious problem. As I’ve mentioned, there is no hint that Apple Mail is not sending e-mail, as far as I was concerned e-mails were leaving my Mac. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there an easy fix?

    I just did a quick test in InDesign CC and my one worked. Maybe you should delete the button and redo it.
    By the way on a slightly different matter, do you know that to enable users to complete the form and store it on their computer using Acrobat Reader, you need to enable the form as follows:
    Open the form in Acrobat XI  and then:
    File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes for fill-in & save). . . Your users will be able to fill in the form and save it (assuming they have the later versions of Acrobat Reader).
    Make sure you keep a copy of your original PDF with a different file name as once you've created a Reader Enabled PDF Form you can't change it.

The next day, I re-checked and kept re-sending it day after day. It has been three weeks and I still have not gotten it.   • Apple Has no information about my ID that I purchased Logic-Pro9 with. and they can not even send me an e-mail to reset my PW. t

    i have a late 2006 20" imac and have been recording some covers and have been able to find canastas (solos). i made sacrifices to purchase apps with an ID for years. I left to colorado and found work at venues i had send my demos to. when i got back home my house had been broken into and much of my studio gear had been vandalized beyond repair. i did not have a firmware password set on my mac and the derelects stole and deleted work related information. i called the people at mac and they told me that they did not have any information that my ID was not on any of their files and had never even been created. today i created a new ID. How am i going to get back all the number of purchases i made especially Logic Pro 9 and the other apps back as they now have been upgraded when apple does not even have an ink mark from my old ID? i use a Focusrite 12 channel interface with a 6 channel xenyx with 48 phantom and since all my originals can't be number one's my Americana recordings have some very profound grooves. I am 53 yrs. old and play all the instruments except the bass lines. These phatos that destroyed many of my archives are muncho malo! i started on the kit in the 3rd grade and started playing behind some big names at 13. Over the years most all of the other basic instruments kept making it easier for me to survive at what ever the venue called for. i never gave up the music for the show. After a gratuitous 40 yrs. of dedication and 34 yrs. of a solid marriage. i am a loyal dog. i can only feel better if the folks at apple will allow me to redownload with my new ID to keep producing. IF not i will have to bow my way out of college since that is my only way i have been able to afford my out of district tuition.

  • Not Receving Verificati​on Code e-mails or Reset Account Password e-mails

    Hello
    I'm unable to login to my Best Buy account.  When I try to login, I get the message "In order to protect your account, we need to verify your identity before you sign in. We have sent a verification code to your e-mail."  Yet I do not receive the email.  I also tried to do a password reset on my account several times, but I don't get that email either. 
    I tried to submit an e-mail support ticket, and was able to receive a confirmation and reply regarding the issue. In that e-mail they claimed they sent me a reset password e-mail, which I also didn't receive.  I have gone through and checked spam, etc. If it is any help, that reference number is: {removed per forum guidelines}
    I also even created a new best buy account to test with, and I was able to receive a reset password e-mail for that account.  I tried to link it to My Rewards and it says it sent a confirmation e-mail to the other e-mail address (the one I'm having an issue with) for linking and I never received that e-mail.
    I signed up for this forum using that same e-mail and received the confirmation e-mail with no issue.  
    Any help would be appreciated.

    You would think that logging into BestBuy.com to access your My Best Buy™ account would not be that difficult, so I can understand feeling frustrated at this point.  From my experience, using an alternative email address will usually resolve the issue.  If you have already setup a BestBuy.com account with a different email address, then I may just need to make sure your information is up-to-date so that you can link your My Best Buy™ account.

  • Apple ID seems suspicious because I have two iPhone 4s in use. It sends me messages asking me to reset my password.

    Both phones are registered. One does not have a simcard as it is used for office email and for shooting video.
    I have a feeling that I've triggered some security alert as having  iphones in use  is not a usual user case. I don't want constant hassle about changing my password.
    Similar experiences from anyone? recommendations?

    On the two instances where I've added an iDevice to my AppleID, I've gotten notifications saying that my AppleID was used to do such-and-such and if this seemed wrong I should reset my password. I simply ignored them since I was the one logging in, and have had no repeats of those alerts.
    What happens if you just ignore the messages?

  • Lion Mail - no error but mail often doesn't send or receive until quit

    Hi There,
    After upgrading to Lion on two machines a couple of weeks ago, both machines exhibit an issue in Mail where there is no evidence that anything is wrong (no errors or offline notices or issues in connection doctor) but Mail doesn't send or receive any mail.
    One machine was an upgrade over the top of a previous install and one was a complete erase, install 10.6, then upgrade to 10.7.
    When we notice that we haven't rceived any mail for a few hours, we restart mail and messages suddenly send and a whole bunch arrive.
    Details:
    - 10.7.3 Lion
    - Exchange server
    Has anyone else seen this issue?
    When I call our Exchange provider, they don't really have much of a clue when it comes to Macs so I'm hopping someone here has experienced and fixed this issue?

    Inexplicably, the mac mail program now runs flawlessly on my girlfiriends new iMac. Well, I did do one thing this morning that I had not done yesterday, and I suppose that could have fixed the problem. I ran MacJanitor, both the daily and weekly parts of the program.
    Though I don't really believe I did anything to fix the problem, when my girlfriend came into the room early this morning to see how the repairs were coming along, I claimed full responsibility for making it work again. She was really happy and it has been a great morning.

  • AOL mail doesn't send .doc-files with Firefox

    When using Firefox AOL Mail doesn't send .doc-files. Instead a corrupted file with a different size is sent. Any other file type works aswell as sending .doc-files with other browsers works...

    I'm getting a similar problem. Snow Leopard Mail for me seems to be choking on large attachments - sending them, forwarding them, or even moving them from one IMAP folder to another.
    My mails are getting through, but it takes a long time and they are dragging the whole system to a crawl in the process.

    When sending from one mac email account to another email account on the mac it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appears in the mac inbox.
    When sending from a mac account to the pc, it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appear in the PC inbox.
    When sending a massage from the PC to my mac email, it send fine from the PC and arrives in the inbox on the mac.
    mac to mac - seems to send but dosent arrive
    mac to pc - seems to send but doesnt arrive
    pc to mac - seems to send and arrives.
    As i said it was all working fine yesterday and for four years previous to that, but now it has just stopped.

  • Burst program doesn't send mail

    we are using a burst concurrent program which will send output to user as an attachment in the mail. Now the problem is, if the output data is huge(say >10MB),the program doesn't send the mail. But the program gets complete normal.
    we are using excel as a output format.
    Is there a way to get huge data in a mail?

    Sorry, but I just have to ask the question: why would you want to send over 10MB of data as a report result to a user? That's a humungous amount of data...and basically has nothing to do with BI anymore. That's just dumping data into someones inbox.
