Doing a varation month to month
hello
I have try to do a varation from month to the other
I have use the following formula : Member - @prior(member)
However when on the time I am in January the variation can't calculate. I have to the data from Dec of the previous year so I have use the command @mdshift(Member,11,"Time",,-1,"Year") in order to have Dec of the previous year
Apparantly it is not working
Could someone tell what I have done wrong ?
my time dimension is order ascending : Jan to Dec
my year dimension is order descending :Y2010 to Y2007

Also if this is a formula, there is no worry about block creation issues.Couldn't there be on the Year side? Unlikely, I agree, but if there was data in the current year, but not the one being calculated? This is of course assuming Years is sparse.
Look closer, he has multiple yearsYou are of course right. I would have put this in a FIX on level zero years so each year would have been dealt with in isolation for the Jan calculation. Actually, I think that's what his code does -- it's just the one year that he shifts.
Just for my edification (because goodness knows, I need it):

Shift 11 periods from Jan Would a special handler be needed for 2007 or would #Missing come back? I think the latter would be the result without the handler but probably ought to be tested.

When I copy and paste from Word to my e-mail using Firefox it changes the font and spacing to single space and 10pt.
It just started doing this a month ago.
It does not do it when I am on my laptop or using Explorer.

Why does a 12 month 'Unlimited' Subscription Not W...
Yesterday I purchased an 'Unlimited' 12 month subscription to (apparently) be able to call 'ALL' landline numbers in Australia. However, 'EVERY' time I try to call a number in Adelaide, South Australia, a major Australian metropolitan area(!!), Skype does 'NOT' connect, but, instead, keeps responding with:
Call Ended, not enough Skype Credit to call this number
I have tried every variation of country code + area number + phone number, and the response is either the above, or that it is an invalid number!! I have read 'every' FAQ and support submission, and nothing clearly explains why this is happening; or how to fix it!!
If this is not sorted out 'real' quick, I will be looking for a refund!! VERY disappointed with Skype!!!I too received this message on my iphone once yesterday. As a result, I was charged the standard rate of calling to China, instead of it being free (included in the worldwide plan). I sent an email to customer support and am waiting for a response. Funny thing is, all calls placed to the same number before and after that call was not charged.

Why does my 5 month old iPad not hold a charge anymore
I have had this iPad for 5 months and it now only work if it is plugged to the charger in the wall socket. When I plug it to the computer to sync the computer cannot download the driver or power it on. I changed the charge card to see if it had a short or something, but iPad does the same thing with new charge card. It will not come on at all if it is not plugged. And when it is plugged to the charger in the wall socket it will recharge and then come on. What is the problem? How do I fix it?
take it into your local apple store and have them look at it. the 30 pin port on the iPad can go bad.

TS1599 Why does my 10 month old macbook air shutdown when disconnected from power?
My Macbook Air purchased June 2012 cannot run without be connected to power.
Disconnecting from power results in a shutdown.
Without power, I cannot start up the Macbook Air.
The Battery shows 100% charge.
Have tried resetting the NVRAM - problem still occurs.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Signal loss at random was not doing this last month
I have an older iphone and i have had a&tt for a while. i havent ever had signal lost untill recently now it happens all the time without warning. I am now missing important work calls and may have to switch users. any advice would be awesome. nothing seems to have changed and it doesnt happen in the same place and also happens outside.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing a loss of signal.
Which version of iPhone are you using? How long have you been experiencing the signal loss?
Have you tried resetting your network settings? Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Also, have you tried inserting your AT&T SIM card into another phone to replicate the issue?
If you’ve got no issue when using another AT&T phone, then your problem could be hardware related and the iPhone might need replacement.

[PL/SQL Error] ORA-01843: not a valid month, not sure how to troubleshoot
Trying to use PL/SQL to automatically create a report that show the following:
Daily:

Weekly:

When I run the PL/SQL I get the following

Add a line on the Annual Budget by Month
I am working in the Personal Budget Template of Numbers '09. I want to add an additional Income and Expense line on the Annual Budget by Month. The table I made is a copy of the Monthly Expenses Table and I would like the line on the Annual Budget by Month to work exactly the same as it does for the Monthly Expenses Table. I don't know how to change that formula so it caluclates correctly. What should I do?
I'm curious why you need a new table for this.
If you are adding a single (monthly) expense category, why not just insert it as a new row in the Monthly Expense table.
The only formula on that table is =SUM(B), in the Footer row (row 10) of the table. That formula will not change when one or more rows is inserted into the table between the Header row (row 1) and the Footer row.
On the Annual Budget by Month table, cell B5 (and the cells to the right of B5) contains the only formula referencing the total monthly expenses:
=Monthly Expenses :: $B$10
If a new row is inserted in the Monthly Expense table, that formula automatically changes to accomodate the new address of the SUM(B) formula (now in Monthly Expenses::B11):
=Monthly Expenses :: $B$11
If you DO need to add a new table (for demonstration purposes, I'll name it "New Table", Then you win need to add a row to the Annual Budget by Month table. SInce you haven't said whether this will be an Expense table or an Income table. the best place to add it (in terms of describing what to do with it) is between rows 4 and 5 of Annual Budget by Month. Here's the procedure:
Ensure that New Table and Annual Budget by Month (ABbM) are on the same sheet, and that both are visible without scrolling.
Click on any cell in ABbM to activate that table and show the row reference tabs.
Hover the mouse over the Row 5 reference tab, and click the triangle when it appears. Choose Add row above. The new row will be the new Row 5.
Click on cell B5 (in the empty row). Type an = sign to open the Formula Editor.
Click on the the cell in the footer row of column B of New Table (B10, unless you have changed the number of rows in this table).
In the Formula Editor, hover the mouse over the cell reference (New Table :: B10). When the triangle appears, click it, and choose the second item, Absolute row and column.
The formula should now read: =New Table :: $B$10
Click the green checkmark to confirm the formula and close the Formula Editor.
Use the Fill control handle (small circle at bottom right of the selected cell) to drag and fill the formula into the rest of Row 5 of the table.
You'll need to also make an adjustment to the formula in the Footer row of ABbM.
The current formula in the cell (originally B7) was: =SUM(B2:B4)-B5-B6
After the insertion of a new Row 5, it changed to: =SUM(B2:B4)-B6-B7
The adjusted formula will be one of the two below:
If a positive sum in New Table indicates an Expense:
=SUM(B2:B4)-B5-B6-B7
OR
=SUM(B2:B4)-SUM(B5,B7)
If a positive sum in New Table indicates Income:
=SUM(B2:B5)-B6-B7
Fill the appropriate formula in B8 right to M8 (December).

Adding Payment Terms: 45 days End of Month

I am trying to add payment terms to Oracle 11i that are:
45 days then End of Month
Can anyone let me know if this is possible?
I have been able to add many other terms required, but cannot figure this one out.
ThanksActually, yes, I believe this is possible, or very close to possible. You have to use a combination of cut-off day, day of month, and months ahead. You will want the cutoff day to be 15. If the invoice data is 16 or later, it will add a month to what it first calculates. By doing day of month = 31, that says to pay at the end of the month (at least that is what Oracle says in its manual). Then do Months Ahead = 1. So if you have an invoice on April 14, that is before 15, so it will only do 1 month ahead, and then the last day of that ahead month, which would give you May 31, 2009, which is what I think you want.
Then, if you have an invoice for April 16 -30, it will now do two months ahead and give you June 30, 2009 as the due date.
Now if you run into something in late January, say January 30th, then this does not quite work. 45 days would put you into March, and paying on March 31st. Whereas with Oracle it will do a February 28th payment. But that would be the only time of the year (when February is involved in the calculation) where you would be off a bit. You could push the cutoff day to maybe 16 or 17 or 18 to try and get around that if that becomes a big issue, but then that impacts your whole year, not just when February is involved.
So as I said, you can set up a term that is close to what you want. Not 100% exactly what you want, but close. Something to think about.

The steps are.
1. Post depreciation for the last period.
2. Open next Asset fiscal year by running AJRW. This is also called soft close of previous period. Without this no report of assets will work.
3. Reconclie the balances with GL account. Run Tcode ABST2.
4. Check your slef whether all the balances that are carried forward are fcorrect or not.
5. Once you have finally done the above steps, use T code AJAB to close the last fiscal year.
Please note that at any given point of time you can open only 2 asset fiscal years only.
These are th esteps that are needed for asset closing.

We want to do our CO Month End on 25th Nov (CO42, KKA0, KKAO, KKS1, CO88) and then we will close the Period on 30th Nov.
We are thinking that the 5 days Production Confirmation (Production during 26th to 30 Nov) will be taken care of in next period Month End.
I wanted to Know will this create any Problem in CO or we can go through this Procedure.
