Doing Startrails

I have a trial version of Lightroom 4. Cant find out if this version will stack photos to do startrails. Does Elements 11 have this function. New to photshop but learning fast.

No, photo stacking isn't built into PSE. There are many programs for stacking and a few specifically for creating star trails, some of which are donationware.

Mini dvi to video adapter ...how does this work?

I just bought a mini-dvi to video adapter (with the composite /s-video output)
I plugged it into my tv, and I can get the desktop on my tv.
But I see only the desktop, no icons or windows etc. Do I have to setup something? Or change something in my system preferences?
I don't really get it since there came no manual with the cable.

Hi,
it is possible that the output is not mirrored, but that you have two different desktops. The one on your TV does not have the menubar etc.
But you should be able to move any open window from your iMacs screen to your TV (either over the left or right side of the screen).

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. when i contol click on the downloads icon in the dock i get the gris view . I thought if you control click, you are able to change the view to fan or list. am I doing something wrong.? Icheck to make sure the contol key is working by doing a screenshot and it works there. What am I doing wrong?

Both AirPrint and the HP AIO Remote app relies on Multicasting, a such have to be supported and enabled by your router.
Some routers support a such by default, some require settings changes and some do not support Multicasting which required for a such.
Please clarify your router brand and model to better understand any possible steps to try.

Installed Premiere Pro CS4 but video display does not work?

I just got my copy of CS$. After installing Premiere I found two things that seem very wrong:
1) video display does not work, not even the little playback viewer next to improted film clips located on the project / sequence window. Audio works fine.
2) the UI is way too slow for my big beefy system.
My pc is a dual boot Vista-32 and XP system with 4GB of memory installed and nvidia geforce 280 graphics board with plenty of GPU power. The CS4 is installed on the Vista-32 partition. My windows XP partition on the same PC with Premiere CS2 works great and real fast.
Any ideas how to solve this CS4 install issue?

The problem is now very clear to me. The problem only shows up with video footage imported into PP CS4 encoded with "MS Video 1" codec. So this seems to be a bug. The codec is very clearly called out and supported within various menues but video with this codec just will not play in any monitor or preview window. In addition the entire product looks horrible with respect to performance while PP CS4 trys its best to play the video. Audio will start playing after about 30 seconds. And once in awhile part of video shows up at the wrong magnification before blanking out again.
My suggestion to the Adobe team: fix the bug and add some sample footage to the next release so new installations can test their systems with known footage.

Ideapad A1-07 tablet wifi-bluetooth does not work!

Hello everyone. As you can see from the title on my tablet is not working wifi and bluetooth. When turning wifi tablet is reset and continues to be off and on until it forcibly turns off, and when you turn it on again, and do not touch wifi everything is normal and there are no problems with resetting. Can someone help me and give suggestion to solve this stupid problem. I'm from Croatia and I'm bad with the English writing.

Please perform a factory reset
Please ensure you have backed any important data before doing factory reset
Hold the volume down and the power till Lenovo logo appears .
System will boot into recover mode. Follow the instructions

Encore WT8 - screen Mirroring on TV does not work

Hello,
I have a KDL42-W653A television which supports screen mirroring over WiFi.
However, I cannot get it to work with the Toshiba Encore W8 tablet.
The tablet detects the television, I enter the number, but the television never shows the tablet's screen.
Both the television and the tablet are on the latest firmware.
Another thread indicates there is an update for HDMI in January. I hope that covers this too.

By mirroring over WiFi what technology you mean exactly?
Miracast, Intel WiDi, DisplayLink?
Toshiba Encore supports *Miracast*
To use Miracase both devices needs to support this technology.
Then you can connect to external display very easy:
Tab Settings -> Change PC settings -> PC and devices -> Devices
Here you have to Add a device and you tablet will start searching for a Miracast devices
After the connection has been established, the name of the Miracast device will appear under Projectors
Did you test the video output connecting the table to the TV with an micro-HDMI cable?

A2109 tablet autorotate does not work

The autorotation on my recently purchased tablet A2109 does not work. I look in settings and the auto rotate field is not highlighted, I therefore cannot choose to turn it on.The tablet has the Android jellybean OS and I did update it but to no avail. Can anyone help?

Tecra M7: Tablet does not work after lid closing

Has anyone had problems with the tablet not working after closing the lid on a Tecra M7? Bios is 3.20
Doesn't seem to happen on hibernate or sleep.
I have the lid set to do nothing on close.

What do you mean with tablet not working after closing the lid?
Does the notebook freezes or what?? What happens exactly???
The close the lid settings can be set to hibernation mode or standby mode or no action.
These settings can be set in the power saver setup actions.
If you have some problems with some installed Toshiba applications I would recommend reinstalling the TOSHIBA Common Modules and the program which doesnt run correctly!

Hanvon USB tablet does not work

I got a Hanvon 0806 Painting Master Tablet as a gift and after following the simple instructions in the poorly written readme file, and installing the driver, it doesn't work. It works on my friend's PC, but not on my iMac. I've tried plugging it into every USB port on the Mac itself, the hub, and even the keyboard but it just won't work.
Anything I'm doing wrong or anything extra I should know about Hanvon devices?

Media query does not work on my iPad (Was: media query question)

I am coding a site for mobile/tablet/desktop and while my desktop and iphone respond to the CSS, my ipad does not. The changes I make to the tablet in dreamweaver take, but when they go live the ipad does not respond. Obviously my media query must be incorrect but I cannot figure out the issue. Any help is much appreciated.

Yes. That's inevitable because smart phones are getting bigger while tablets are getting smaller & bigger. There is always going to be some crossover. Think of it this way, when a tablet behaves like a mobile device, it takes on the mobile layout. When tablet behaves more like a desktop, it takes the desktop layout.
Similarly, a wide smartphone in landscape mode is apt to look like your tablet layout.
