Domain chnage for ESS users - Error

Hi All,
We have an issue with our ESS/MSS portal.  We have recentley moved some users to a different domain.  They can access the java stack portal, but when they try to access a BSP that is running form our backend they get 'page can not be found' error.
Has anybody else had this issue or know what I can do to resolve it?

Hi Nick,
I think you need to check the BSP application which is integratd in the portal in Content administration whether it is working or not.
You may also check in backend se80..

    installed Exchange 2013, upgrade to sp1 and clean as possible start use in production. All work fine for 2 weeks, when after last weekend go back to work and see what ecp and owa login broken.

    5. no event log errors, only about exchange performance counters.
    all what i did:
    *recreate owa. recreate ecp directories in default website and backend website also ecp pool, and add it back.
    *check website biddings;
    *remove and readd certificate.
    *disable OWA cache option.
    *check user language options.
    *check running services.
    *check owa proxy health
    * check owa and ecp authentification settings
    * check for correct internal external url settings for owa and ecp.
    * try with ssl req checked in or checked out -not help.
    * try with redirect options disabled or enabled- not help
    So now im are at the start point, didn't help anything. in is not resolution for sitting and trying to clear user explorer caches to tray get work..

    Generally, the error was 500 which indicates some kind of authentication errors. To resolve the issue, please try the following checks:
    1.  Checked IIS, ensure that all of the authentication is set correctly and "Require SSL" is checked on the root of the default website.
    2.  Restart IIS service by running “IISReset /NoForce”.
    3.  If it fails, please try to start the “Microsoft Exchange Forms-Based Authentication” service on Exchange server.

  • NO domains accessible to the user error while opening bpel console

    Hi all,
    I have applied SOA patchset 10.1.3.5 on SOA 10.1.3.1 .After that when I am trying to access bpel console is givving the error like
    'No Domains accessable to the user logged in'. I am able to connect to the database using jdeveloper.
    I am missing any post instalation steps ?.Can anybody help me please.

    It means that your bpel services have failed to start up. perhaps a failure with patching it.
    Did you also patched the orabpel schema? Did you follow the post install tasks?
    Look into $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/domains/domain_name/logs/domain.log and ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs, oc4j_soa logs what kind of errors there are related to bpel startup

  • Modifying this object is not permitted for current user Error

    Hi,
    i hit the this error when posting in pick list. So far,only one user and manager able to post. The rest of user already set full authorization for pick list. But still hitting this error. I am using web service to initiate 8 different connections for different user login.
    May i know any possibilities will cause this error?

    Did you stop the add-on and tried to do the pick list?
    If you google the error message you will see that this message is from the SDK.
    This message is not about authorizations.

  • Domain Shares for Local user with matching credentials?

    I have a standalone win 7 pro machine on the same lan as our domain.
    The stanalone user also has a domain account and is a local admin on his machine.
    The domain account is denied when the user attempts to connect to domain shares.
    Ex:
    Windows 7 Pro machine (BOBwin7-PC) with local administrator: BOB, who's password is 1234
    BOB also has a valid domain account [email protected], with same 1234 password.
    When BOB is logged onto BOBwin7-PC and attempts to connect to a domain share as [email protected] the network credentials fail and BOB is out of luck.  using Server2008R2domain.com\BOB also fails.
    I'm stuck and not expecting this behavior at all.  I have another win 7 Home premium workstation conneced to the shares in the same way (duplicate credentials for the PC and the domain) without issue.
    On this Win 7 Pro machine, any other user account that should be able to connect to the shares can, just not the credential currently logged into the workstation.
    Any help or solution to this?

    Kindly remove the system from domain once and delete the computer Name from Domain.
    after that rejoin the domain and try. 
    if above solution does not work, kindly change the User Name and password in the Domain 
    and try.

  • "Send for review" user error

    Contribute 3 Windows
    A user was supposed to send an edited page for review via
    e-mail.
    Instead, they sent it to their whole Contribute group.
    Unfortunately,
    they are the only one in that group who still has Contribute.
    Now she can't edit the page because the page is supposedly
    under review.
    How do I as administrator get the page out of review and
    allow her to
    send it for review the proper way?

  • Running Enable-Mailbox for existing user error message

    Hey guys,
      I'm trying to enable an existing users mailbox from a powershell command running from my DC and im getting an error message 
    Enable-Mailbox is not recognized as a name of a cmdlet.
    I have done import-modules activedirectory at the begining of the script to import a use rfrom a csv file and everything is working great except this final step.
    am i missing something here ?

    1- Go to Microsoft.com
    2- Scroll down to support (On the right)
    3- In the search box enter 290301
    4- Click on Description of the Windows Installer Cleanup utility
    5- Scroll down page (Before grey area) Download the Windows installer cleanup utillity package. It is Free.

  • Why is Domain required for an identity in the FIM Service?

    I have a scenario where FIM is managing identity, but not all identities have an Active Directory account. I have a flag in the FIM Portal (Service) that indicates if a particular
    user is entitled to an AD account or not. My provisioning setup adds or removes the AD account as appropriate. To support FIM Portal activities for those that do have AD accounts, I populate AccountName, Domain, and ObjectSID in the FIM Service from their
    corresponding attributes in AD.
    What I have noticed is that it does not seem possible to null out or delete the Domain attribute for a user in the FIM Service. I can delete the attributes for both AccountName
    and ObjectSID without issues.
    When attempting to remove the Domain attribute for a user I get the following in the event logs:
    Microsoft.ResourceManagement.WebServices.Exceptions.UnwillingToPerformException: Other ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Procedure or function 'GetDomainConfigurationIdentifiersFromDomain'
    expects parameter '@domainName', which was not supplied.
    I assume that something internal to the FIM Service is trying to do some magic with validating the domain name and the domain configuration. I did found a post saying, “Yeah,

    My question is why is Domain required for a user? It is obviously needed for users that have AD accounts an must authenticate with the Portal, but in the case where a user
    does not have an account (and therefore does not have a domain), it feels odd to store the incorrect data for the user. It also looks weird when you bring up list of users in the portal and see domain values for users that do not have accounts. In this particular
    case, the client has many domains and does have the Domain and AccountName attributes displayed on the user search results page.

    My original question still stands however... Why is Domain required in the FIM Service?
    It is sounding like the answer is "It is not really required on it's own, but there is an internal process that requires it if there is a value for DomainContext set (and there is some magic that sets DomainContext, so you have to manually clear it.)"
    Since DomainContext is automatically set when a client writes a value to Domain. I would suggest that it is a bug that DomainContext is not automatically cleared when Domain is cleared.
    I poked around a bit and the bug can be fixed by changing the stored procedure definition to allow null parameters. In the FIM Service database the stored procedure [fim].[GetDomainConfigurationIdentifiersFromDomain] has a parameter declaration of "@domainName
    NVARCHAR(448)". If this is changed to "@domainName NVARCHAR(448) = null" the problem appears to be solved.
    Making this change would of course be totally unsupported, but perhaps it can be included in a future product update.
    For now I will use Henry's workaround, or just live with potential out of date Domain data.

  • Lync 2013 - Address Book Synchronization Issues for External Users

    I recently deployed Lync Server 2013 in my organization. Everything works fine except for the address book synchronizing issues and the mobility access. I would really appreciate if someone could share their knowledge as I have done lot of troubleshooting,
    not sure if I have missed something. Please note my setup below for the External Web Services.
    Lync Front End:
    Listening: 8080 4443
    Published: 80 443
    I have published my External Web Services URL and the following ports are open: 4443, 443, 8080
    When I look at the Lync Client Configuration, ABS Server External URL is pointing to https://lyncexternalweb.domain.com:443/abs/handler. However, GAL Status is still pointing to my internal Front End FQDN: https://internal.domain.com:443/abs/handler.  
    For machines that are joined to the domain, the address books synchronizes with no issues. For machines that are not joined to the domain and for external users, GALContacts and GALContacts.DB files are not event generated for the users profiles.

    Please note the findings below:
    1. I was checking the Lync Client configuration on one of the PC that is not joined to the domain, still on the domain network via site to site VPN connection. I noticed that the Connected Lync Server varies: sipinternal.domain.com, sipexternal.domain.com,
    lync.domain.com (Pointing to the Edge Server IP).  
    2. Edge Server External Settings: Single IP address with the FQDN set to lync.domain.com for all 3 services and the following ports configured. Access Edge Service: 5061, Web Conferencing Edge Service: 444, A/V Edge Service: 443 with NAT enabled public
    IPv4 address. I have checked the replication status between the Front End and Edge Server, it is up to date.
    3. In regard to the https://lyncdiscover.domain.com, I don't have the lyncdiscover.domain.com published, but it is pointing to the NAT enabled public IPv4 address which is assigned for A/V Edge Services.
    4. For the port forwarding, I am using the Cisco Meraki router. 
    Please advise if there are there is something that I am missing.

  • Lyncdiscover reports HTTP 500 Internal Server Error for external users

    I have a problem providing lyncdiscover information for external Lync users. The same address works internal (prompts for file download) so I believe the problem is UAG/TMG providing the site which is not my cup of tea. I have a working external lyncdiscover
    for other domain in the same Lync + UAG/TMG server environment. I have also checked the public DNS records few times and everything should be fine. Firewall also shouldn't be an issue since it reports the internal server error, right? Any suggestions what
    should I check?

    We are trying to implement ESS for one of our Client.Here we need to connect to the sandbox where all the HR Data is existing.When we create a ESS User and assign him to the Emoloyee we are getting the following error:

    Diagnosis
         A user has been generated for an employee, but could not be assigned
         the employee (the "Communication" infotype in HR master data).
    Procedure
         Please create the appropriate assignment manually in HR master data.*
    We have tried of adding it manually by creating the Communication type.BUt No  Luck

  • Access denied error when Loading document library for "contribute" users : Unknown SPRequest error occurred. More information: 0x80070005

    We are facing a very strange issue on a SharePoint Publishing portal. Domain users (contribute level access) have access to document libraries under specific sub sites. Every morning if they try to access the document library pages, users complain about "Access Denied" issue on document library page. But if a SP Farm admin account login on site, and browse to document library page, access denied issue seems to disappear for end users also. For whole day it works fine. But next day access denied error occurs again. I am not sure why this is happening. I have looked into Event Log and SharePoint Logs, found following information useful, but not sure what to do next.

    From the log, it seems that the users don’t have permission on this page:
    /Projects/LFB/03 Bid Stage 1/Forms/AllItems.aspx
    Does the sub site have unique permission instead of inheriting permission from the parent site? If no, you need to make the sub site to inherit permission from the site collection so that master page also inherits the right. If this is not allowed in your organization, please go to “Site Actions”à “Site Settings” à “Master Pages and Page Layouts” to give users permissions on this document library.

    If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server PPLKHIDR05_TRG_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
    If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.
