Domain creation too much time

Hi Guys,
I am trying to create a domain in my windows 7 with following components.
Oracle database 11.2.0.1
RCU 11.1.1.5
weblogic 10.3.6
IDM suite 11.1.1.5
Trying to create domain using Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_IDM1\bin\config.bat and domain creation taking too much time and in the log file i am getting below message
"java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no GetVolumeInfo in java.library.path" and then it continues with domain creation and getting following message

But process won't move forward, it just hangs with Progress 0% only. I checked similar errors in the forums and it is due to path settings but i tried to remove the existing path settings but no luck. If you guys have any idea what went wrong...?

I don't have any CLASSPATH variable and I have only Path variable but nothing was specified to any oracle product except DB(D:\Oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin;)
Even i set java is 1.6 using JAVA_HOME earlier and then removed but no difference. Not sure what went wrong.

Recently, I have been having some serious issues when it comes to my Sony PRS-600. I am running on a Windows 7 64-bit, and an updated Reader Library 3.3
The issue comes when transferring books to the e-reader from the library, and from the e-reader to a collection. The problem is that the software becomes intolerably slow while it's processing the command. The Reader Library software window grays out, displays (Not Working) and if clicked on it, shades to a white color and displays either "cancel operation" or "wait until program responds". If I do close the operation, it appears as if the e-reader doesn't follow the operation and still displays "Do not disconnect". Since I do not see any other way to disconnect (other than the eject option), I remove the USB plug which causes a bit more issues with the reader (such as removing all of my collections, for example!).
But anyway, that's not the main issue here. The main issue is that the book transferring is really slow. I need to wait a couple of minutes (or even more) just for the software to process. Moving just 1 MB of data requires so much time as if it's 1 GB. Sometimes it's random and does it fast, and sometimes the application is better not to be dealt with at all while it's processing the command. If I would inspect My Computer, the simple loading of the e-reader storage icons and information would make the Windows Explorer to "crash" (e.g, close all windows and then reopen them). It just happens that in all randomness even the creation of a collection makes the software slow.
So to recap: the reader software is slow when adding and moving books.
I hope someone will help me resolve this annoyance.

SL and Lion too much time to sleep!

my mac is taking too much time to sleep, even with the change from SL to Lion...
it always takes like 45sec with google chrome on and 25sec +- with it off...

After applying a SCW template on a DC, the logon window takes too much time to appear (after reboot, lock or sign out).
The seetings in the template are the following:
Select Server Roles: All of the default options selected by SCW
Select Client Features: All of the default options selected by SCW
Select Administration and Other Options: All of the default options selected by SCW
Select Additional Services: All of the default options selected by SCW
Handling Unspecified Services: Do not change the startup mode of the service
Network Security Roles: All of the default options selected by SCW
Require SMB Security Features: 2 checkboxes marked
Require LDAP Signing: the checkbox marked
Outbound Authentication Methods: Domain Accounts
Outbound Authentication using Domain Accounts: 2 checkboxes marked

The question is:
What options(s) include/exclude from SCW template that avoid too much time logon windows takes to appear?

Based on my research, SCW helps administrators to ensure that only those services, application capabilities, and ports required for the roles to function are available; anything not specifically needed by the roles the server holds will be disabled. These
tasks above all consume time to implement, which causes the delay for the Windows logon screen to display.
Therefore, as the way I see it, it is a normal behavior, and I didn’t find any option which could avoid/reduce time spent on applying settings within the SCW template.

Sites Taking too much time to open and shows error

hi,
i've setup sharepoint 2013 environement correctly and created a site collection everything was working fine but suddenly now when i am trying to open that site collection or central admin site it's taking too much time to open a page but most of the time
does not open any page or central admin site and shows following error
event i go to logs folder under 15 hive but nothing useful found please tell me why it takes about 10-12 minutes to open a site or any page and then shows above shown error.

White MacBook takes too much time to boot up

Hi there.
I got the topcase(keyboard) of my MacBook repaired. (White MacBook 2006) and after that it takes nearly 7 up to 10 seconds after pressing the power button that I first see apple logo and it boots up.
I'm not sure but seems like that detecting the hardwares take too much time .
any solution?
PS: I'm running Snow Leopard(10.6.2)

Taking too much time to load application

I have deployed a j2ee application on oracle 10g version 10.1.2.0.2. But the application is taking too much time to load. After loading ,everything works fast.
I have another 10g server (same version) in which the same application is loading very fast.

A.1.6 Connection Timeouts Through a Stateful Firewall Affect System Performance
Problem
To improve performance the mod_oc4j component in each Oracle HTTP Server process maintains open TCP connections to the AJP port within each OC4J instance it sends requests to.
In situations where a firewall exists between OHS and OC4J, packages sent via AJP are rejected if the connections can be idle for periods in excess of the inactivity timeout of stateful firewalls.
However, the AJP socket is not closed; as long as the socket remains open, the worker thread is tied to it and is never returned to the thread pool. OC4J will continue to create more threads, and will eventually exhaust system resources.
Solution
The OHS TCP connection must be kept "alive" to avoid firewall timeout issues. This can be accomplished using a combination of OC4J configuration parameters and Apache runtime properties.
Set the following parameters in the httpd.conf or mod_oc4j.conf configuration files. Note that the value of Oc4jConnTimeout sets the length of inactivity, in seconds, before the session is considered inactive.
Oc4jUserKeepalive on
Oc4jConnTimeout 12000 (or a similar value)
Also set the following AJP property at OC4J startup to enable OC4J to close AJP sockets in the event that a connection between OHS and OC4J is dropped due to a firewall timeout:
ajp.keepalive=true

i have done system copy from Production to Quality server completely.
after that i started SAP on Quality server, it is taking too much time for opening SAP transactions (it is going in compilation mode).
i started SGEN, but it is giving time_out errors. please help me on this issue.
MY hardware details on quality server
operating system : SuSE Linux 10 SP2
Database : 10.2.0.2
SAP : ECC 6.0 SR2
RAM size : 8 GB
Hard disk space : 500 GB
swap space : 16 GB.

You are supposed to run SGEN as a batch job and so, it should be possible to get time out errors.
I've seen Full SGEN lasting from 3 hours on high end systems up to 8 full days on PC hardware...

5-10 minutes is normal for me when opening iTunes. But then my library is stored on network drive which slows everything down.

Hi,
Time taken at "rules" depends on the complexity involved there in ur routine. If it is a complex calculation it will take time.
Also check ur DTP batch settings, ie how many no. of background processes used to perform DTP, Job class.
U can find these :
goto DTP, select goto menu and select "Settings for Batch Manager".
In the screen increase no of Processes from 3 to higher no(max 9).
ChaNGE job class to 'A'.
If ur DTP is still running , cancel it ie Kill the DTP, delete from the Cube,
Change these settings and run ur DTP one more time.
U can observer the difference.

You should also always try and have the latest BI content patch installed but I don't think this is the problem. It seems that there
are alot of objects to collect. Under 'grouping' you can select the option 'only necessary objects', please check if you can
use this option to install the objects that you need from content.

Use ethernet and see if you can delete the folders.. as long as you have them stored elsewhere.
The TC is not a NAS.. it is not designed as a file store.. even attempting to use it that way can lead to issues.

Taking too much time using BufferedWriter to write to a file

I'm using the method extractItems() which is given below to write data to a file. This method is taking too much time to execute when the number of records in the enumeration is 10000 and above. To be precise it takes around 70 minutes. The writing pauses intermittently for 20 seconds after writing a few lines and sometimes for much more. Has somebody faced this problem before and if so what could be the problem. This is a very high priority work and it would be really helpful if someone could give me some info on this.

Yeah!! I kow it's a lotta code, but i thought it'd be more informative if the whole function was quoted.
I'm in fact using the PrintWriter to wrap the BufferedWriter but am not using the print() method.
Does it save any time by using the print() method??

What exactly happens is that after a few loops it just seems to sleep for around 20 seconds and then again starts off and ............it goes on till the records are done.
Please do lemme know if you have any idea as to why this is happening !!!!! This bug is giving me the scare.
