Domain Replication Issue. Is there Any Process can be monitored in task Manager which is responsible for REPLICATION?

Hi,
There is an issue with Secondary domain controller replication. I am interested in the "Windows Process" which is responsible for Replication.
We have a 3rd party tool in our project which generate alarm when a windows process in not running(configured).
I believe  Remote Procedure Call (RPC) is used to replicate data and is always used for intrasite replication. But How to find out which RPC is responsible? or any other windows process is responsible?
Is it possible to find out "Replication problem" by just monitoring "Responsible Windows Process" ? ( process is running or not running)

Hello,
have you already seen

  • HT1665 Hello. Is there any way of finding a list of accessories which hold "made for iPhone" certification?

Hello. There are a lot of new accessories available for iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 / 4S. Is there any way of finding a list of accessories which hold "made for iPhone" certification? I do not want to buy any accesories which may be harmful for my iPhone.

Here is the start of the setup:
Click on the Wi-Fi Options button and provide the needed info:
Click on the OK button. Now check the Internet Sharing box to turn it all on. If the port box you checked is no longer checked, then uncheck Internet Sharing, check the port box again, then check the Internet Sharing box again.

  • Is there any process to create a gl a/c in cash journal for credit.

    Dear sap guru's,
Please suggest me in this issue. In cash journal we create a gl a/c ie EMPLOYEE WELFARE A/C.
But my user wants. the same gl a/c for credit also.
RIGHT NOW WE CAN USE IT ONLY FOR DEBIT,BUT WE REQUIRE FOR CREDIT ALSO
    Please it's urgent.
    Regards,
    Maruthi.

In FBCJC2 set up the business transaction as type R (revenue) and then enter on the receipts tab in the cash journal

  • Is there any process\service which can modify and count a Global fragment in a form(xdp)

    Hi,
Is there any process exist which can count number of fragments or modify a fragment in a form (either in pdf or xdp).
    Regards
    Sunil Gupta

no there is no activity or process because global fragments are used in adobe lc designer for developing a form. when a form is created as a document then no concept of global fragment left. it gets embedded in form

  • ISSUE: "This domain controller must register a DNS SRV resource record, which is required for replication to function correctly"

so we currently have three domain controllers set up, two of them on 2012r2 and one of them on 2008r2. prior to any of these domain controllers being added to the domain there was only one, running on 2003r2. the 2003r2 server was up and running when the
first 2012r2 was added and that's when running 'dcdiag /e /c /v' would yield an issue with "_ldap._tcp.9a5f3c17-e7ac-48f7-ab42-bf1ea621a6f5.domains._msdcs.cmedia.local" in the DNS portion of the diagnostics, specifically:
    TEST: Records registration (RReg)
Network Adapter [00000010] Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter:
    Error:
Missing SRV record at DNS server 192.168.22.4:
    _ldap._tcp.9a5f3c17-e7ac-48f7-ab42-bf1ea621a6f5.domains._msdcs.cmedia.local
after adding the second 2012r2 to the domain, this issue is still there... adding the 2008r2 server to the domain and running BPA it gives the following:
    Title:
This domain controller must register a DNS SRV resource record, which is required for replication to function correctly
    Severity:
    Error
    Date:
    7/3/2014 11:24:48 AM
    Category:
    Configuration
    Issue:
The "DcByGuid" DNS service (SRV) resource record that advertises this server as an available domain controller in the domain and ensures correct replication is not registered. All domain controllers (but not RODCs) in the domain must register this record.
    Impact:
Other member computers and domain controllers in the domain or forest will not be able to locate this domain controller. This domain controller will not be able to provide a full suite of services.
    Resolution:
Ensure that "DcByGuid" is not configured in the "DnsAvoidRegisteredRecords" list, either through Group Policy or through the registry. Restart the Netlogon service. Verify that the DNS service (SRV) resource record "_ldap._tcp.9a5f3c17-e7ac-48f7-ab42-bf1ea621a6f5.domains._msdcs.cmedia.local", pointing to the local domain controller "CM-DC4-NY01.cmedia.local", is registered in DNS.

I've tried scanning and then re-scanning every single entry in DNS Manager and do not see any reference to this specific GUID mentioned, nor do I see any other domain controllers referenced that should not be in there. The two 2012r2 and the 2008r2 domain
controllers are the only ones listed in DNS Manager... the 2003r2 mentioned earlier failed and was removed.

Just to chime in, I noticed that you said you have one 2008 R2 DC, and two 2012 DCs.
I also noticed in the ipconfig /all that all DCs are pointint to themselves for DNS. We usually like to see them point to a partner, then itslelf as the second entry, w hether loopback or by its own IP.
Based on that, what I suggest to level the playing field by choosing the WIndows 2008 R2 DC as the first DNS on all DCs and only administer DNS using that DC. The reason I chose that is because of the least common denominator is what we rather use so we
don't invoke any new features in the newer 2012 DNS console that 2008 R2 may not understand.  After that's done, on each DC run (and you can use a PowerShell window to run this):
Rename the system32\config\netlogon.dns and netlogon.dnb files by suffixing ".old" to the file.
    ipconfig /registerdns
    net stop netlogon
    net start netlogon
    Then re-run the dcdiag /e /c /v.
    Post your results, please.

I thought the DNS entries were supposed to be the other way around? point to themselves first and a partner as secondary? regardless, as requested, I've changed it to what you've prescribed where they point to the 2008r2 server as the primary with themselves
as the secondary. I've also followed the steps to what seems like refreshing the DNS? on each of the DCs. Here's the output from dcdiag /e /c /v

Hi, original poster here. I did not realize this would generate more discussion so I never checked back. I still had my warranty, so I took it to the store and got it repaired. The original problem I had was a screen with this icon flashing when I attempted to boot it up:
When I took it to the store, they told me that my computer was unable to communicate with the hard drive. I had this same problem three times in two months where this screen reappeared. Each time I went back to the store and they said the cause was different, but they were all hardware issues that physically made it impossible to communicate with the hard drive. After the third time, they simply replaced my laptop and I haven't had the same problem.
So in short: The reason you can't reinstall or move anything when you encounter this screen appears to be because nothing can communicate with the hard drive in the first place. You can't reach the disk or anything on it. So I don't believe it's possible to do anything besides take it to a physical store and have it fixed.

  • Is there any process to retrieve DELETED DATA in any stage either PO,GR,IR

is there any process to retrieve DELETED DATA in any stage either PO,GR,IR >????

It is normally quite difficult to physically "delete" PO, GR and IR. GR and IR are canceled, which means both the original document and the cancellation document can be found in the system.
PO's get the deletion flag on the items (the trash bin) and also can still be seen in the system.
Physical deletion of objects from SAP can only be achieved by "archiving". If archiving has been set up properly, you can later view the archived objects. If not, they are gone.

  • AVCD on MAC: are there any processing problems using say, VLC?

AVCD on MAC: are there any processing problems using say, VLC?

We've actually found that the Server 10.6.3 DVD does an amazingly smooth job of upgrading 10.5.8. We've been upgrading our production servers and nothing has gone wrong yet. Snow Leopard employs an archive and install method of upgrading which results in an install which is very close to a clean install. So it's been very convenient for us because our servers are used as Windows PDCs and it's a pain in the *** to have to re-join all PCs to the domain if we start from scratch.

  • For this issue Is there any solution in Standard solution or any Developmet

    Hello Friends,
I have one issue that is
When ever the forecast is release from DP to PPDS (Monthly - days) of a material quantities should be bucketed into Monthly bucketed quantities and split into day level ( e.g: Product1 1st week 1000ton, 3rd week  2000ton , when it releases system aggregates the quantities and depending upon the product profile and setup time it shold give me result as product1 -3000ton in day 1 and product2 --2000ton on day 2 ...so on) .Standard SAP APO release of Monthly forecast quantity to daily bucket is divided into 30 or 31 days and split the quantities equally( e.g: Product1 1st week 1000ton, 3rd week  2000ton , when it releases system aggregates the quantities and divides in 30 days in a month and split the quantities equally).
For this issue Is there any solution in Standard SAP or any Developmet is required in APO-DP.
Pl Through me some lights on me .
    Regards,
    sivaram76.

    Hi
If you are using u201C/SAPAPO/MC90  for releasing the FCST , I think you can define different Planning Buckets Profiles according your requirement for example according your needs for disaggregation of your FCST. A planning buckets profile contains the periodicities or a subset of the periodicities that you defined in the storage buckets profile.
Once you maintain the planning bucket profile you can put it in tab Daily Buckets Profile while releasing the FCST.
It will be nice if you please cross check it its meet you requirement.
    Thanks

  • Is there any compoment can explain XML & HTML?

I want to create an client end-point as an explorer like IE,which can send http request and receive XML(including XSL SVG and so on),HTML,JavaScript and expliant them and show them right on my client end-point explorer.
I mean that I will use swing to create a UI to replace the IE UI,and it can support all the functions of IE, so,is there any compoment can help me as a plug-in ?

    Johny,
Swing has Styled Text areas to accomplish your requirement (see JEditorPane and JTextpane). Don't expect much from them. Rendering HTML is not easy, when you want a good rendering engine use the mozilla rendering engine or embed internet explorer in your application. This will involve doing native coding. Don't ask me for an example code, I don't have any.

  • IS THERE ANY PROCESS IN ASSET REVALUATION

    hi sap guru's,
we are facing a problem for ex
we purchased a asset in 2003 for value 1cr 80lck. but the same value entered in the books is 2cr. Now we want to reduce the price of that asset in our books. Is there any process to do the revaluation.
Kindly suggest me how to reduce the value and give me the steps or any document.related to it.
it's very urgent please help us.

    Hi,
If there is only one asset which has problem, you may think of following transaction.
    ABAW - Balance Sheet Revalation
You need to work out following for ABAW transaction.
    1)  Amount to be reduce for Acquisition Cost.
    2)  Do you want to adjust Acc Depn till previous year as well .. Work out the value of acc depn.
    3)  Default Trans Type is 800 which debits the asset i.e. revalues Asset to higher value. If you have to credit the asset i.e. reduce asset value, use Trans Type which credit.
    Check following in the customizing:
IMG : Fin Acct --> Asset Acct --> Special Valuation --> Define Transaction Type for Revaluation.
    1) Select T type 800.  It is configured for Debit Posting.  Check other T Type which are configured for credit posting for revaluation.
    2) Check which depreciation area, revaluation to be posted.  Add the depreciation areas for this tranaction type posting.
Hope this helps.  If helpful, pls. assign points.

  • Are there any libraries can be used to generate Type 1 font postscript file

I am trying to create a Type 1 font postscript file. But I found it is hard to find the library to generate the Type 1 font postscript file. I just found a library named iText which can create the Type 1 font PDF file.
Are there any libraries can be used to generate Type 1 font postscript file?
    Thanks!

I don't see much benefit with the current ODI adaptors for planning if it is an EPMA type planning application.
They have been specifically designed to work with classic planning applications.
It certainly is possible to load into EPMA interface tables using ODI though there are no direct adaptors and it takes quite a bit of effect to get them into the correct format.
    Cheers

  • Are there any command can list all container and XML doc which in DB

When I use BDB XML shell,
are there any command can list all container or xml document which in database,
maybe like command dir(in windows), can list all exist directory and file.
    Thank very much.
    Henry Wang

    Hi Henry,
When I use BDB XML shell,
are there any command can list all container or xml
    document which in database,
maybe like command dir(in windows), can list all
exist directory and file.If you type "help" in the dbxml shell you'll get a list of all the commands available. As you will observe, you can use the "getDocuments" command to retrieve all the documents within a container. You will have to open the container first.
If you want to list all the files within a directory you'll need to simply use the command prompt's "dir" (naming all your containers within a directory in the <container_name.dbxml> would allow you get the list by running a "dir *.dbxml" command).
Not sure that this is what you really want, but if you would like to keep track of all the containers within a directory, or other directories, you can use a container with a special role, that of a catalogue, to hold the list of all created containers on disk, and eventually other specific information.

  • Is there any way to get rid of this stupid feature in iTunes for Windows? You've subscribed to a podcast but have more than five unplayed episodes. iTunes will stop automatically downloading newer episodes.

s there any way to get rid of this stupid feature in iTunes for Windows?
You've subscribed to a podcast but have more than five unplayed episodes. iTunes will stop automatically downloading newer episodes. You may get the following message:
iTunes has stopped updating this podcast because you have not listened to any episodes recently. Would you like to resume updating this podcast?
You can click Yes to continue downloading additional episodes. Or you can just listen to any part of any episode and a new episode will download at the next update.

I believe that feature was added in order to reduce wasted costs to the Podcaster.
Podcasts incur costs - that have to be paid for, by someone. That cost will be the cost of hosting the Podcast on a server somewhere and more crucially (with regard to your point), the cost of the Podcast being downloaded to your computer. Every download costs the Podcaster money (typically, charged by bytes downloaded).
If that Podcaster pays for the whole thing personally, obviously they want to keep down any unnecessary cost to themselves. If the Podcaster is earning money for his or her Podcast (typically from advertising within the programme) then obviously, the advertiser only wants to pay for advertisements heard by listeners. So a download, not heard by the downloader, is waste of the Podcaster's money or no payment from the advertiser.
My own experience is that I only have to resume downloading once per programme. I'm usually several episodes behind on two different Podcasts that I follow, but I do not recall having to repeat the resume Podcast after that first time.
