Domain user account will not authenticate once user logs out and logs back in

Greetings,
I am having difficulty resolving an issue with a Mac user on my domain. the user can log in no problem from the initial start up, however when the user logs out and trys to log back in, the domain account and the password doesn't authenticate. the only way the user can log back in is by shutting down completely.

The guys around here who know anything about that hang out on Mac OS X Server forum. Many of them support mixed Server environments in their day jobs.

I am not doing it in ITunes, but i did down load the song from ITunes. I loaded the song on to my Nano, but in my menu selections it doesn't show the song or the artist in any search format. However, when i plug in my nano to my PC I see the Nano library on my PC drive listings and that song and artist are there. I can click on the song and it will play in Windows media on my work PC. I did notice that the format for most all the songs in my library on my Nano are MPEG - 4 audio Files.

I just signed up for a 30 day trial and I'm really excited to use the software for movie editing, however I just saw this post after I was trying to use Premiere Pro and sadly I don't have a machine with 64 Bit OS. I was just seeing if there is any way I can cancel my free trial and then start it back up after I get a new computer. I'm really excited about using Premier Pro but want to make sure I can try it out with a film project before purchasing and I don't know how long it will take to get a new computer.

ARD will not authenticate OD users in ard_admin group

I can successfully control a client with a local account using ARD 3.0, but not with an OD account added to the WGM group ard_admin, ard_reports, etc. I have been successful at times with both OD and Active Directory accounts, but cannot get consistant results and need to add hundreds of macs to ARD for management.
I have confirmed the client and server are talking via WGM as I can move the client's dock around using Group/Prefs and changing the Dock display.
I can even login at the client using the OD user's credentials, but again, from ARD, access is denied using the OD user's credentials.
ARD simply will not let me manage/generate reports of clients using the OD user credentials, I get 'Authentication failed to "client name"' when I click on Control or Observe. The Client Status column reports Access Denied.
All clients are running 10.4.6 or better.
Ultimately, my intent is to use AD users as members of the ard_admin, etc. groups and have successfully done so a few times, but not consistantly.
Am desperate for some guidance and Apple Tech support has recreated the problem once, but can no longer recreate in order to continue working the issue.
I am wondering if there is a random Kerberos authentication issue going on, but I have even used KB300765 to prevent clients from getting conflicting sources.

Here's the fix.
First from the Remote Desktop application you must create a Client installer (from the ARD File menu). When building the installer be sure to answer the following questions...
Customized installer. YES
Remote Desktop Startup; YES
Show ARD Menu: Your choice
Create Users?: No
Enable directory-based Administration: YES (what was necessary for me to get working)
Specify access privileges: Your choice
Other settings are your option...
Save the new Client installer.
Secondly, move it to your clients and run it. If necessary, this will upgrade your clients' ARD client software and open the door for AD/OD Administration access.
I couldn't find this documented anywhere. I would have thought the necessary "Enable Directory-Base Administration" would have been in the client's ARD Access Priviliges screen somewhere.

You need to enable Fast User Switching. Follow the instructions on this page, they are for Mavericks but the instructions are the same,

Once enabled you will have a Fast User Switching menu on the right side of the menu bar that will allow you to select which account you want to log in to without having to log out of the account you are currently logged in to.

Is it still charging? Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.

I changed my appleID and primary email and now I can not access anything. iphone shows my old appleID and I can't log in with my old password but I can not log out and log in with new ID. How do I get iphone to work with my updated ID?

My old nternet account was cancelled and with it my emails. I updated my apple id and password in all my devices (ipad, iphone, imac, except for my moms iphone. I am trying to log out from my old account and set her up with her own apple ID and iCloud etc but it does not let me log out. Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you did a good job editing your Apple ID and primary email address, but you didn’t sign out of iCloud on your iOS device before hand. What you may need to do in this situation is go back to the Apple ID website and edit your Apple ID and primary email address back to the email address that is signed in with iCloud (there is no need to verify the account after editing it back to the old account, just changing it back is enough). Once your Apple ID is back to the original account, delete the iCloud account from the iOS device and be sure to keep all info on the device when prompted. After you delete the iCloud account, go back to the website and edit your Apple ID and primary email address back to the new address. Once it is back to the account you would like, you can sign into the iCloud on the iOS device with that new account and merge all of the data when prompted. Please use the following article as a reference.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Go to Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap “Keep on My [Device]” or “Delete from My [Device].” In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

You can change a password for an Apple ID. However, now whoever finds the iPod will know his email address and I assume that the email address is his Apple ID.

Hi, since iphoto updated to 9.5.1 i cant open it. it puts a message up saying iphoto is being updated, but if i log out and log in to another user account i can open it no bother, any ideas?

There are two ways to recover from this condition.
1. Select
Store ▹ View My Account
from the App Store menu bar, then select View hidden purchases. Stop or resume the download.
2. Open LaunchPad and find the icon of the app you're trying to install. There will be a small progress bar below it. Click the "X" to stop the download.

We have 3 ipods and 2 ipads in our house, with one computer. I have set up my own itunes account and one each for my two Daughters. When I try to add music or sync their ipads/ipods, my own library with my own music comes up, even when I have signed out of my own account and put their account in. Am I able to have 3 accounts on the same computer with seperate music libaries and able to sync without each persons music syncing onto the wrong device? Thank you.
