DomainDNSZone converts automatically to ForestDNSZone

I have a Root / Child domain model. We have 4 Sites. Root domain is only in Main Site and Child Domain is across all of the sites.
We have Windows 2003 R2 and Windows 2012 R2 Active Directory model.
Main Office:
Root domain have TWO windows 2012 R2 DC's and THREE Windows 2003 R2 DC's.
Child Domain have TWO WINDOWS 2012 R2 DC's and TWO Windows 2003 R2 DC's
Sites:
Each site have Windows 2003 R2 DC's
DNS:
All DC's are running DNS Service and 1 additional DNS Server is also available which holds secondary zones.
ISSUE:
I came across strange issue. While fixing my replication issues  appearing on DCDIAG, I added Master Servers under additional DNS Server and my replication starts without any error. But automatically my _mcdcs.root.domain converts to
ForestDNSZone and after 1 days root.domain and child.root.domain also change to ForestDNSZone.  The evernt which logs this entry showing my user ID for this change but I didn't change this manually.
Please help me if there is any possibility of happening this automatically. Might be as I replicated and replication completed successfully this converts and as I did the replication the event for changing is generated with my ID.
Regards,
Faisal Kamal

Well I wonder why Faisal is so surprised to see this behavior. This is perfectly normal and expected when one fixes any existing firewall ports, WAN links or DNS service issues with remote located Domain Controllers which are most often ignored
in small environments and pop up during migrations or upgrades.
Events are always logged with the account that's logged in and fixing these issues. Automatically DNS zones are updated once lookup and replication/sync issues get fixed. Also the way the DNS integrated zones info was saved in Windows 2000 AD and
later versions differ.
Event id 713 says Admin moved the zone which is rather misleading sometimes. See links below.
http://houstongeek.blogspot.ae/2009/11/ad-integrated-dns-zones-disappearing.html
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee783617(v=ws.10).aspx
Making the zone forest wide AD integrated actually helps when dealing with geographically dispersed locations as local copy is available to query when WAN links fluctuate and always recommended if you have unreliable links.

  • I'm going to Italy. Do I need a voltage transformer or does the iPhone 4 convert automatically?

    Does the iPhone automatically convert from USA voltage to continental Europe voltage?

    I just returned from Italy (Florence, Venice, Rome) and the iphone voltage DOES convert automatically 110-240V.  As Julian stated, all I had to do to charge my iphone was attach the round prong adapter to it.  Ciao! Enjoy your trip.

  • Can I use my mac book pro with 120 volt and 240 volt power supplies?  Does the power converter automatically switch, so I just need a different adapter plug?

    I got my mac book pro in the U.S., but I will be travelling to where there is 240 volt power.  Does the mag safe power adapter switch automatically, so I just need a converter plug, or do I need a transformer to convert from 240 to 120 volts?  Thanks.

    Hi,
    I too bought my Macbook Pro in the US and I live in the UK (its so much cheaper in the US! No 20% VAT!)
    The power adapter does work on UK 230v power. You can also get a three pin extension lead (like the 2 pin US one that came with the MBP) for about £3 with free delivery from Amazon UK.
    Another tip, whne you are back in the UK, and you are switching from a PC to a Mac, get in touch with your local Apple Shop who run one to one free courses on how to use your MBP.
    Hope This Helps!!

  • Files converted automatically to Mp3 instead of mpeg when burned as audio files

    Cannot maintain mpeg music playlist files when burning using audio file burn mode

    They will be compressed to MP3 when published. It is always better to have an uncompressed file to start with, easier also to edit with audio software (Audition, Audacity) without quality loss. Be sure that it will be reduced largely when published. And please, don't shout.... why those big fonts?

  • DNG Converter-does it automatically recognize camera files?

    If I have multiple Sony cameras, all with .ARW extension, does DNG converter automatically recognize the different cameras, or do i have to manually segregate from the different cameras and convert only one camera's files at a time?
    One more question:  why doesn't DNG converter have its own community?

    The exact camera model is stored in the Raw file headers and will be automatically detected. DNG converter is the same as Camera Raw, so any questions can be directed there.

  • Need option to disable automatic Convert to Text

    Using Acrobat DC under Mac.
    So I open a PDF that is composed of multiple scanned pages.
    From the (Tools?) panel, I click Edit PDF.
    As I flip through the pages, I realize that Acrobat is automatically applying "Convert to Text"
    However, I don't want this, and there is no way to turn this off. This is terribly inconvenient and distracting.
    For the Settings, please add an option to disable automatic conversion. Not sure why I'm having to ask for this.

    Hi Bernd,
    I see that your English is a little weak, but I believe that you are asking, "Why did you click 'Convert to Text' and not expect that all of the pages would be converted automatically."
    Well, in a situation where I am working with a single page out of a collection, I need the following:
    Cursor down to the page that I need, without the pages being converted automatically.
    When I get to the page that I need, I click "Convert to Text."
    There needs to be an option to turn off automatic conversion.
    Thanks

  • Adapter / converter

    Hi there,
    I'm new to Mac, I bought a macbook 2months ago , here in the US, and I'm about to go back to France. Does anyone know if I need a converter for voltage ( because I've been told that my macbook would convert automatically from 110 V to 220V, is that true)
    Is it better to buy an apple adapter , or is it more expensive just because of the design? Does anyone know if the Travel kit has an adapter for both Argentina and France.
    Hope someone can help me,
    regards, emma

    I have a US macbook and live in Slovakia. For a short trip, a cheaper adaptor should be fine, but if you are going to France for more than a visit, I recommend springing for the Apple adaptor because adaptors that attach to your American plug don't stay firmly in place and sometimes get stuck in wall sockets. My European friends, seeing me grapple with my old adaptor, and seeing how loose the adaptor was on the end of my macbook plug, told me that this was exposing me to shocks - and that shocks from European voltage are stronger than from American. I felt much safer after I bought the snug-fitting Apple adaptor.

  • Not receiving texts from iPhone contacts when I'm not connected to wifi or cell data. I can't send and receive regular SMS texts with non iMessage users but iMessage users message are not being converted to text when I don't have internet connect

    I can send and receive to any non iPhone user. I can send a message as a text to an iPhone user but if I'm not connected to cellular data or wifi I do not receive messages from iPhone contacts. From what I understand these message should automatically send to me as texts instead of iMessages but since the update it's not functioning properly. Please help. I've tried turning iMessage off and I still don't receive the messages until after I reconnect to wifi.

    I have the same problem! Before the upgrade, if I wasn't connected to the internet, any messages sent to me from an iphone would convert automatically to a text message. I have payg tarriff, so I turn cell data off, as it costs too much to use it. I have wifi at home and work, but if I'm out and about, I don't receive texts from iphone users until I'm on wifi. I get them ok from non iphone users. There was never any problem until ios7

  • Automatic creations of Schedule lines

    Hello Everybody,
    My client requirement is, Once we run the MRP, the schedule lines has to be converted automatically.
    What are the steps needs to be carried out .
    Is there any backend settings needs to be done.
    Plese reply me as early as possible.
    With Regards,
    Bhaskar.

    Hi,
    - Plant should be MRP active.( SPRO)
    - Maintain material master MRP views with MRP type , correct procurement type( External).
    - Source list to be created for the SA with MRP indicator 2 and fixed indicator check.
    - Requirements of the material should fall in the planning horizon, else the schedule lines will not be created.
    - On the selection screen of MRP run, select the option 3- Schedule lines for the field Delivery schedules.

  • Third party automatic creation of Purchase order

    Dear experts,
    In third party scenario i used ALES item category for automatic creation of PR & PO..
    But i am unable to get..it...  Isit any other settings required for this process.
    Please advise
    Thanks & Regards,
    VSN

    For third party ALES item category also the schedule line category determination in VOV5 is CS only
    I think mainly you need to maintain the settings in VOV5 for the item category ALES and you MRP type in MMR you have to maintain CS as schedule line category
    In VOV6 for CS details
    The order type should be maintained as NB
    Item category should be 5 that is third party
    Account assignment category should be X
    These are the main settings to generate PR up on saving the sales order
    Mm people will convert the PR and PO
    And a lot of threads are available how to convert automatically a PR to PO both in SD and MM forums
    Normal third party item category is TAS and with ALES and a lot of controls differ mainly billing relevance
    In TAS is is set to F and in ALES it is set to B

  • Reg: Automatic creation of one PO from more than one PR

    Hi ,
           I have an issue from user.
    Requirement : The PR's which are generated on vendor and delivery date combination will convert automatically into a single PO irrespective of the material when we run the batch job.
    Ex: To day for example we created ( roughly ) 30 to 40 PR's of the same vendor. Then when we run the batch job , with the today delivery date and vendor combination , it should combine all the PR's and should create only one PO.
    Please help me to solve this issue.
    I able to combined the PR's to one PO but when we use the same material in all the PR's only, I am unable to convert the PR's of different materials.
    Thanks&Regards,
    Usha.

    Hi ,
                Thanks for your prompt response.
    My inputs are : delivery date and vendor.  ( check on per delivery date )
                              When i check on Generate schedule line , it is combining the PR's of same item only but not the others.
    Please let me know if you want want anything else for this issue.
    Regards,
    Usha.

  • ATP Tree Structure is not getting created automatically after Sales Order is saved

    In one one of our scenario, when we add material to Sales Order and save with Requirement Type(under Procurrement Tab of Sales Order) , in APO there is no planned order or only planned order which is dynamically pegged created because the ATP Tree in APO is not being converted. There is no pegging relevant item create(e.g. Planned Order). When we are checking the persistent ATP Trees in APO (/SAPAPO/ATREE_DSP - ATP-Trees) we can see that they are not converted automatically. They are still there. If we do it manually via transaction (/SAPAPO/RRP_ATP2PPDS - Conversion ATP Tree Structures -> Production Planning) it works. Afterwards the Planned Order is available and fixed pegged.
    Why is APO not converting the ATP tree automatically ?
    I also checked the scheduling horizon for conversion of the ATP Tree and it is correct: Is there any relation with Check Mode setting under ATP tab in Material Master?

    Hi Prasad ,
    This enables you to debug the ATP tree . If you have created an entry here with your user name then it will not let ATP tree get converted into PP/DS orders automatically .
    It's very surprising because all  seems fine . Just cross check all the settings once with below .
    The conversion time depends on the following horizons and dates:
    ·  PP/DS Horizon
    ·  Scheduling horizon for the conversion of ATP tree structures
    ·  Requirements dates in the ATP tree structure
    PP/DS immediately converts the ATP tree structure when the sales order is saved
    ·  If the earliest requirements date for components is within the scheduling horizon or
    ·  If the latest requirements date for finished products is within the PP/DS horizon
    If none of these conditions are fulfilled when saving the sales order, the system saves the ATP tree structure in SAP APO. In this case you can only convert the ATP tree structure online or in the background when one of the conditions given above is fulfilled. Here, there is an offset for the horizons with which you can achieve an earlier conversion.
    You maintain the scheduling horizon for the conversion of ATP tree structures in Customizing for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling under Maintain Global Parameters and Defaults. You maintain a location product specific PP/DS horizon in the location product master. If no location product specific PP/DS horizon exists, the system uses the PP/DS horizon from the planning version. You maintain these in Model and Planning Version Management.

  • What is the best way of converting everything in a result set into a string

    hello folks
    What do you think is the best way of converting everything in a resultset into a string???
    At the moment I'm using
    rs.getString(i);
    everywhere (no matter if the underlying datatype is a date or whatever..) it converts automatically evertything expect NULL into a valid string.
    Are there better (simple to use..) ways?

    I don't see a big switch construct. How about trying the following:
    Call this method from your original method by passing the resultset obtained.
    public String[] convert(ResultSet rs) {
         int col = ((ResultSetMetaData) rs.getMetaData()).getColumnCount();
         String[] record = new String[col];
         int i=0;
         while(rs.next()) {
              if(rs.wasNull()) record[i] = new String();
              else record[i] = rs.getString(i);
              i++;
         return record;

  • Postscript to PDF converter in Safari and other applications

    I frequently work under Linux so I have and receive many files in ps-format. Until recently I encountered no problems since Tiger converts automatically to PDF, whether in Safari, the Mail Tool or the PDF-reader. From one day to the other this doesn't work anymore, probably after a recnt update of something, I'm not quite sure what. Any software that attemps to open a ps-file gets stuck and eventually crashes. It still works with X11 and ghostview and my ps2pdf converter also works in my Xterm ...
    Could it be a problem with the Quartz composer or some software that controls the graphic output? Anybody a clue? Thanks a lot in advance for helping!

  • Converting date value one day less while transfering from client to server

    Hi,
    I have very typical problem. My application is in java, we are using oralce 9ias. The problem when the server is running in german locale and client is running in english. We the date value is passed from client to server it is converting to one day less.
    i.e.
    If i want to search with records jan 02,2005,
    on server side if we print the value it is getting as jan 01,2005.
    Can anybody help me in solving the above problem.
    Its bit very urgent.
    Thanks in advance

    // to get  current time in Germany
        Calendar cal = new GregorianCalendar(TimeZone.getTimeZone("Germany"));
        int hour12 = cal.get(Calendar.HOUR);
        int minutes = cal.get(Calendar.MINUTE);
        int seconds = cal.get(Calendar.SECOND);
        boolean am = cal.get(Calendar.AM_PM) == Calendar.AM;
        //I think all you need to do is to set the timezone to the current, so that when the
    //server at some other timezone gets this date it knows that this date belongs to
    //different timezone and gets converted automatically according to the server
    //timezone settings.
        // Set the current local timezone
        cal.setTimeZone(TimeZone.getDefault());
        int hour24 = cal.get(Calendar.HOUR);
      Hope this answers your question. Good luck.
