Domincan Republic -- Claro mobile numbers

Since beginning of this year it is almost impossible to call any number of DR Claro (at least half from
DR mobile numbers). In apriximately 90% from the attempts a caller hears immediately an answering machine of Claro (and the minutes are counted, of cause) while the callee does not hear and does not see any ring.
In a rare case when a connection actually occurs it terminates in one minute or less.
Please, fix the problem

Thanks Verizon, really, I mean u guys could have told me u removed T Mobile from the list of participating carriers who u can message with in Czech Republic. The T Mobile carrier was on there a couple months ago, and now I have to find out for myself in adding and changing international long distance in the Rates by Country section ( International Long Distance Calls | Verizon Wireless ) that it was removed for some strange reason. Now she has to change her number and carrier cause u guys cant figure out which carrier to do business with.

IMessage issues on contacts associated with two different mobile numbers

Hello together,
currently i am facing the following issue:
I have a contact "Max Mustermann" associated with to different mobile numbers. Number 1 is a number belonging to his business mobile phone which is an iPhone. Number 2 belongs to his private Android device.
Since I updated to iOS 7.0.2 my iPhones sends every message (new message, answers) to the iPhone, regadless if he sends me a text message from his Android device. During my throubleshooting I tried to delete his business number from contacts, deleted every mail adress associated with his contact, recreate the contact with the same name and just the private number. As for now I completely deleted his contact on my iPhone and tried to send the text message directly to the mobile number of his Android device. But still the same: Message is send as iMessage to his business mobile phone...
Anybody faced this issue before and can me help with his?

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

Contacts with multiple mobile numbers

Hello all,
This is my first post here, so please be patient with me. I searched through previous threads, but did not find an sufficient answer to the problem I am having. To set the stage, I will give you what I am working with
g-mail account with close to 500 contacts
iPhone 5, latest version 6.1.3
MacBook Air, latest version 10.8.3
I have my g-mail account linked to my iPhone as an Exchange connection so that I can view the contacts. I have my computer contacts program connected with Google as well. The problem I am having is that most of these 500 contacts have multiple mobile phone numbers. I am able to create this contact easily in g-mail and can relabel the phone types to match what they are. Let's say for instance:
Name: John Smith
Home: 111-111-1111
Mobile: 222-222-2222
Mobile:333-333-3333
etc.
I have done quite a bit of testing and found that the computer contacts matches up perfectly with whatever I put in there, including multiple mobile numbers. My iPhone on the other hand, does not show the second Mobile number. It will recognize multiple home, work, and pager numbers, but not multiple mobiles (it only shows the first one on the list). Why would it allow multiple numbers of the other types and not mobile numbers?
Is there something I am doing incorrectly, or has Apple overlooked a simple, important function? The things I do not want to do are:
create custom phone labels for my contacts as in mobile1, mobile2 - there are too many and this is an inefficient solution.
change all of the cell numbers to be work numbers - same as above, and what if someone else is updating g-mail contacts and does not follow the rule?
unlink the Google tie I have on the computer - this seems to be the only one of the two that works, and I do not want to have to constantly remember to download an updated contact list. The list changes constantly, and I know I would eventually forget ( I am looking for a poka-yoke here).
Any ideas about solutions?

I have no prblem syncing multiple mobile numbers so I don't think it's a universal issue with iOS. The only difference I see is I am using CardDav instead of using the Exchange option. Have you tried it that way? You can urn off contacts in the Exchange account and add the CardDav account separately.

Facetime with two mobile numbers?

Hi,
I have used Facetime (and iMessage) in the past with my German mobile number. Right now I am travelling, and I have bought a local SIM-card. My German number ist still active and calls are being forwarded to my "vacation"-number.
I can make outgoing calls with Facetime as usual, but I am told that it shows my US-number (which I don't want, as it is only temporary). Moreover, I cannot be reached via my German cell phone number. Possibly, because in the logic of Facetime/Apple-ID, it has been replaced by the "new" US-cell-number associated with the phone itself as of now.
Is there any way I can make Facetime recognize either only my (old) German mobile number, or both mobile numbers? Or can Facetime work only with the active number from the SIM-card in the phone at any given moment?
Basically, I can tell Facetime/Apple-ID to use so many Emails, can I do the same with cell-phone-numbers?

when i have a contact in iphone and i add more mobile numbers than just one, they do not pass through to outlook 2007. i realize this is because there is no room in outlook for more than 2 (if i remember correct) mobile numbers,but is there a workaround?

I've got the same problem but with a "4 number" limit. Many of my outlook contacts have more than 4 numbers associated with them but the iPhone contacts app only shows/syncs 4 numbers. Any way to increase this limit on the iphone?

Default Dialer not able to search & show mobile numbers {Lenovo K900}

Last week I purchaged Lenovo K900 & configured some apps & sync contacts from online mail accounts but after 2 or 3 days when I typing any name in default dialer its showing names but as per standard it should show their mobile numbers under their names but its only showing 91 area code under all names.
Please help to resolve above issue.

I found out that in My case it is not displaying numbers of Gmail contacts only. it is only showing the number Zero.
When I try to call directly it says "USSID code running" then fails. But the number is actually there and I need to open the contact and chose the number from there.
So i Copied all Contacts (114) from gmail to my phone (I deleted all my phone contacts before). And than it says "Sucsessfully copied 161" contacts. so i found out that it created new contacts with existing names randomly (But no information inside.)
This is far from normal I guess.

I`ve tried restarting, rebooting, nothing works.
The interesting thing is that SIRI can call to previous mobile numbers (without the new digit) obviously not connecting , and, can call to any other numbers as an office or home number. So the problem is the new digit in the mobile number

Ecuador has added an extra digit to mobile phone numbers but apple wont accept 10 digit phone numbers so we cant use facetime or apple IM or verify our new phone numbers. ( and Siri won't work either!) I have contacted apple support online but can't request a call back as the apple system says our new phone numbers are invalid. I am going to phone them tomorrow and you should complain too at http://www.apple.com/support/contact/. . The more people that bring this to their attention the faster it will get fixed

i recently discovered that apple iphone users using Glo nigeria mobile numbers cant activate imessage on their numbers. it only works wits apple id. other networks activate within 1 hour. but with glo lines, it keeps charging for sms every hour and stays on waiting for activation.
Can anyone explain why other gsm networks in Nigeria activates imessage succesfully while Glo wont work. It was working initially before it stopped.

Go to your contacts, find the contact that you wish to text, hit 'edit', and move that contact's numbers around until the mobile number is at the top. Arduous I know, but it works. Now when you go to text that person, the mobile number should be the default.

when i dial from my corporative mobile number ##1 calls another corporative mobile number of my company like i was calling an usual number, when i dial ##2 it calls another and so. the number of the mobiles are ##X, thats wy i need to dial ##X, but the uc does not allow to me to do that kind of dialing. calls to a regular number it's ok, it's this kind of dialing i can't do.
