Don't have a product key right now help with this please.

Hi, i was installing XP onto my mac for school. cause we are using visual studio. i realized the computer doesn't have a product key so i don't have one. My Mac is stuck on the product key screen for Windows.
Is there anyway of restarting and going back to the Mac OS X partition without messing up my laptop cause I don't know how long it will take me to find the old computer and get the key from it.

Assuming you tried to install Win on a separate partition from Mac OSX, all you need to do is hold down the power button to force a shut down (if you haven't tried that already). Once the Mac is powered off, just press the power button again to boot normally into Mac OSX.
If the Mac still tries to start into Bootcamp, hold down the option key after pressing the power button, and a screen will show up that will allow you select the Mac OSX startup disc. Select it and you will start up in OSX and be good to go.

    Tuesday night (2/3) I ordered a droid maxx using an upgrade because my s4 LCD screen shattered. I was told it would be over night shipping,a nd I should get it Thursday. I borrowed my wife's phone to call verizon last night to ask why it was still listed as "in processing" and I was reassured I should get it today.As of now, it's still listed as "In processing." When I asked a chat rep how it could still be in processing and I still supposedly get it today (as they had initially reassured me), they referred me to customer care. I won't be able to call verizon for quite some time because I don't have a phone myself right now. Help!

    i am in the same boat, ordered tuesday after 4pm, as they said it would ship by 4pm the next day and 2 day shipping used..  have no Fedex tracking number, but found out once order is made,theres a place called the warehouse that can hold 3 days, before shipping anything out or the ware house.. so now instead of being home and able to sing for the phone, we will have to shift work schedules, one verixon decides that they will ship my phone to my house.  so for 2 day shipping i may get it after 1 week..been told for 2 days in a row that it will ship... nothing but online sales tells me no delays no problems, but warehouse says it special configuration on my phone takes 3 days, but cant tell me when it will ship, or be delivered..

  • Product key will not work with this edition of Windows 7

    I received a product key for Windows 7 Professional N whilst I was at University via Dreamspark. I'm building a new computer and when it's come to inputting the product key, it comes up saying Product key will not work with this edition of Windows 7.
    The version I installed was Windows 7 Professional using an iso and a USB. I rang the phone activation number and when I got through to a representative, I gave him the product key and he said it is valid and should be working. He transferred me to technical
    services but instead I got cut off.
    At this point I'm really not sure what the issue is, the key was for Windows 7 Professional N, I installed Windows 7 Professional and customer support confirmed it as a valid key. Am I missing something?

    If you don't use those instructions then valid credit card details will need to be entered on the account before you will be able to use it download any item from the store

    What that symbol indicates is that your iPad has gone into recovery mode and now it needs to be restored in order for you to be able to use it again. You can reboot from now until the cows come home and it will not do any good.
    You do indeed need to plug your iPad into your computer and use iTunes to restore the device.

    Just in case you need to use recovery mode.....

    Try restarting the computer. If the problem continues, post back with more information about the specific error.     Do you not maintain a backup copy of your computer?
    Imatch can save anything that is available in the itunes, that is in your library.

    If you want to send text messages on your iPad, you may be talking about the recent Continuity Feature. To do this you will also need an iPhone connected to the same wi-fi network.
    On your iPhone:
    Go to Settings
    Then to Messages
    Then 'Text Message Forwarding'
    Turn on the device you want to send a text message, in your case your iPad.
    Your phone should ask a code that it sent to your iPad. In the box type in the code that shows up on your iPad and press Allow.
    You should be good to go.

    I bought a new Macbook Pro 13 inch in December 2011 and I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium shortly after and installed it on the computer.  The other day my friend spilled his drink on my computer and it is now going to cost me $800 to get it fixed so I am considering getting a new one instead of getting mine fixed I'm not sure if the memory is still ok or not either.  It didn't get that wet and Apple told me it is more than likely ok but there is no guarantee that they are going to keep the memory when they fix it.  So I was wondering if I get a new one if I can install the Suite on the new one I still have the product key and serial number for the Suite.  Or if I decide to get mine fixed and the memory is swept, then can I reinstall it on mine after it is fixed?  If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!!     You had the opportunity to create your own recovery disks when you got the computer if you read the manual.
    Repeatedly tap the F11 key at boot to see if you can enter the recovery partition to factory restore your system.  If not, you will have to order the recovery disks.
    You could download, create and burn a Windows 8.1 ISO to use on your system.  It will not have the HP Software that came with your computer though.
