Don't have access to JOIN key for secured networks

I have a 3GS iPhone and want to use my wireless internet connection at home. When I press my network name, it goes to a screen where I am supposed to type my password, however, the key JOIN is not accessible, so nothing happens. I tried with other secured networks and it's the same, when it goes to the password screen, the JOIN key is not accessible. What should I do?

You have to enter the same number of digits required for that security level. For example if it is a six digit password and you enter four digits then Join will not turn blue and become available to choose.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

That wasn't something that I was aware of, but looking at this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 I'm not sure that there is much you can do about the device itself. I'm also not sure whether it only affects downloading directly on the device itself or whether you can connect the iPad to your computer and sync content across to it from your account that way - or even whether restoring back to factory defaults on the iPad will bypass the 90 days

Contact iTunes Customer support... it is not possible to bypass Activation Lock.

hi, installed ftp 7.5 and have it working using AD credentials but users who don't have access to directories, see everything.
I'd like it so that they only see the directories they can access, like ABE.

Do you have find my iPhone enabled on it? If you do, you could log in to your www.icloud.com account in a web browser on any computer and execute a remote erase command (or use the find my iphone app on another iOS device). Then, restore from your iCloud backup (assuming you have that enabled as well and have an iCloud backup file in place to restore from).

May I know what is needed to make sure the MacBook is able to see Time Capsule on ethernet?
Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the LAN <-> ports on the 2Wire gateway to the WAN port (circle of dots icon) on the Time Capsule.
If AirPort Utility cannot "see" the Time Capsule now, you will need to perform a "hard reset" by holding in the reset button for 7-8 seconds or so and then reconfigure the Time Capsule. You can use the same Time Capsule name and password, etc. as before.
Configure the Time Capsule to "Create a wireless network" and select the Bridge Mode option when it appears during the setup using AirPort Utility.
Once the Time Capsule is configured, restart the entire network again. Power down everything, start the 2Wire first and then start each other device after that one at a time about a minute apart.
Now you can connect your Mac directly to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Time Capsule for the backup using another Ethernet cable. In general, about 20-25 GB per hour will transfer.
The Time Capsule will broadcast a much faster wireless network than the 2Wire can provide, so you might want to leave the setup "as is" for awhile after the first backup is complete. If you decide to use the Time Capsule as your main wireless access point, you would want to turn the wireless off on the 2Wire since two wireless networks in close proximity can create interference problems.
Or, if you want to use the wireless on the 2Wire, you could turn off the wireless on the Time Capsule. Then backups will occur over the 2Wire wireless, or over Ethernet.
I don't really recommend the "Join a wireless network" setting on the Time Capsule for most users, but you could go back to that setup as well if you want after the first backup is complete.

You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations, so if you only had one installation, you still have the option to install on a second without doing anything further than that. If you originally downloaded the purchase thru Adobe then you might find a download link available in your Adobe account online. If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Installed mavericks server and now some users don't have access to folders!? Why and how do I fix it???

I have just upgraded the server and os to mavericks and now users that used to be able to open and save or even log in are now locked out with the server saying wrong password. I reset their password and still nothing. I created a new user and they can't even log in? Why now? And how do I fix this. It seems that some users and groups now don't have access and all that was done was to let the group open a shared folder that they have access before. I reset everything and am now very frustrated!!!

I decided to go back to Mountain Lion for my server using TimeMachine backup, and stay with Maverick for my imacs
Work well again
Until Apple will communicate on it or deliver a patch, i would suggest to do the same
