Here's something you may want to try with Speedfan. You can go into the configuration page and rename the temps and fans. Just highlight the one you want to change and hit the F2 key. Looks like this below. As you can see by the pics the Rcase label is my rear case fan which I have plugged into the NB chipset header since I use a passive heatsink on the NB chipset.

In the past I have copied music I purchased from iTunes onto a cd I could play on an older car stereo. Now I don't know what is wrong with the cd's I create.

I'm using the latest OS X, 10.8.5, on an iMac , 2.7GHz Intel Core i5. iTunes 11.6.
I've tried several formats, AIFF is the format that used to work.
Perhaps Apple has removed this ability to burn usable music CD's, just as it quietly removed iDVD?

I've tried doing that with no results. Same screen keeps showing. Maybe it'd be more helpful if I told you a bit more info. My phone was randomly playing music, and the voice control would also suddenly start without me touching the phone. Then I let the battery die and started to recharge when on the screen it indicated to plug into my computer/iTunes, I tried to restore but was getting an error message (can't remember what it said now). Battery died and now my current issue of the black screen with white apple. I'd love to be able to restore my phone but now its not showing as a device on my iTunes. HELP! Any other suggestions?

Okay Im thinking I made a mistake, I purchased and ipad 2 and now don't know what to do with it. I turned it on and it won't do anything but show the plug and itune symbol? Can someone tell me what to do?

I'm guessing you did not buy the iPad from Apple. If you did not buy it from Apple, it may very well have an older software version. Only iOS 5 or later is PC independent. If you have an earlier version, a computer with iTunes loaded is required.

If you can open Safari go to the top of your screen, click Safari / Preferences then select the General stab. You can type in the web address for your Home page there.

Usually that error can be cleared up by renaming the personal config folder. Turn on your OS's hidden files and then go to...
C: > Users > your username > AppData > Roaming > Dreamweaver (version) > your language > configuration
Rename the configuration folder configuration-old and start DW up. That should create an entirely new configuration folder and correct the menu.xml file.

If you tried resetting the ipod and it still keeps having the same issue you described, try setting the ipod to disk mode.

If you can get the ipod into disk mode, connect it to the computer and rrestore the ipod using itunes.
if the ipod will not go into disk mode, you can return the ipod or set the ipod up for service via the apple ipod service depot.

Double check the connections on each end to make sure they are nice and snug. If possible, plug the Nano into another existing USB 2.0 port.
Also, with the iPod still connected, try resetting it. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons (or the Volume Down and Sleep/Wake buttons on the 6G Nano) long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Then try restoring the iPod again.

Not to point out the obvious, but battery life depends very much on what is running and how much the device is being used.
If the battery lasts longer on a day you make no phone calls, but lasts less the day you make 5 hour long calls, this is to be expected.
If however the iPhone has the same level of use on both days, with different power consumption, this would infer a background process (or App) is trying to do something (connecting to server or creating a back up etc).
I switched off all thrid party apps from being included in my iCloud backup, which saves a huge amount of space on the cloud and allows the back up to take barely a couple of minutes.
Battery life seems ok so far on my 64GB 4S (Bluetooth on, Wi-Fi on, Location Services on, Push notifications on, Screen set to just under half brightness with Auto Adjust on)

HT4623 I don't know what's happened but the media sound isn't working unless I have headphones in. Games, voice notes, music, radio, touch tones and lock tones aren't working and it's also starting to not charge properly as we'll now. What do I do ?

It plays ringtones and alarm works but no message alert tone or touch tone lock tone radio and when I try to turn the volume up by the buttons I just get the bell with no volume bar.
