Don't like built in iSight, anything I can do?

I bought a new iMac last July and it came with the built in iSight. I just don't care for it. I tried connecting my old Logitech web cam and it works for ISPQ, but I can't find a way to make it my default cam for other applications, primarily yahoo messenger. Can that be done or do I just have to settle for the iSight? Reasons for prefering my Logitech: better picture, easier to adjust picture, more flexibility and for some reason I just prefer it. Thanks!

iCloud's mail server settings are different from MobileMe's. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

iCloud cannot access your AOL account (the MobileMe facility for checking external POP accounts does not exist in iCloud) - you will have to do this in the Mail application in the usual way. You could of course set up forwarding from your AOL account to iCloud (assuming they provide this facility) but you will not be able to reply using iCloud's SMTP server with anything other than the iCloud address as the 'From' address.

Personally, I'm very happy with "DownCast". I've given up on the apple podcast app, and DownCast seems to do everything I need. My whole family uses it.

What precisely do you mean by deleting the podcast app from both the phone and Mac? I have deleted the podcast app from my phone but on my Mac in iTunes->iPhone->Apps it shows up albeit with a button labelled "Install". I've resynced 3 times and when I try to access my Podcast playlist in the Music app, I still get a message telling me that podcasts have moved to the Podcast app. I'm really sick of some of the changes Apple has made to their software.

I don't want to just reinstall the older version, since I'll be constantly refusing update requests and will lose any new security updates. I just want to have the layout I had before FF changed it without informing me in advance. Otherwise I will switch to a different browser.
