Don't receive email from my posts

Even if I am subscribed I don't receive emails replies to my posts, can any administrator clarify, also I had a post about New Intel system and what will do present users if introduced, why has been removed ?

Ferro,
I'm not an administrator, but what is done about speculation about future unreleased products is discussed at length in the Terms of Use on the right:

Stay on topic. Apple's discussion forums are here to help people use Apple products and technologies more effectively. Unless otherwise noted, don't add Submissions about nontechnical topics, including:

As for not receiving e-mails, verify your settings on the right are pointing to your e-mail address, and the bottom has the correct setting for Send Subscription E-mails for your desire (I have it set for Immediately (default). If they are, and you are still not receiving e-mails, make sure that your spam filters aren't blocking messages from [email protected] If they aren't, there has been one outage I'm aware of in the past week in receiving subscriptions. It seems to have resolved itself at least on my end.

The email is sent to your recovery email. That email is not the same as your Apple ID. If you haven't assigned one with your Apple ID do so here > https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/

  • After upgrading to Yosemite, I don't receive email from Gmail users

Using a MacBook Pro, 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD internal hard drive.  OSX v10.10.2
My primary email address is an .mac/.me/.icloud email address.
Recently upgraded to Yosemite.  After doing so, I am having trouble receiving emails from Gmail users (I am not having trouble sending emails from my Gmail account, as many people have).
I asked 8 of my friends with Gmail email addresses to email me a test.  I received 4 of these emails immediately after they were sent, the other 4 email took anywhere from 4 to 48 hours for me to receive.
Anyone else have this problem, and if so, any solutions?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

There have been various posts about delayed Gmail e-mail delivery to iCloud e-mail addresses, but so far, no solutions. Gmail uses a nonstandard form of IMAP e-mails, which may be causing the problem.

  • Don't receive email from specific sender

We're not receiving emails from a specific address, not in regular mail, not as junk, etc. Sender says mail has been delivered successfully, but I don't receive anything from this specific sender.

  • TS3276 I don't receive email from specific senders. Any idea why?

I do not receive email from specific senders. I have to enter the name of a person I think might have sent me something under Search at the top right, in order to see if they have sent me email. Yet I receive email from most senders. Cannot explain this, finding it very frustrating.

    several possibilities:
It could be rule, as MrHoffman suggests
it could be that those senders have been flagged as junk mail by Mail.app on your machine
It could be that they are flagged as junk mail by your mail server

  • Don't receive emails from a few business addresses

Is there anything I can do to receive emails on my blackberry from a few of the companies I represent?  I never seem to receive these email from them on my blackberry.  I realize this when I get home and check my Outlook.

Have tried sending service books to your device?
If not then go to Email Settings icon on your home screen. Login using the user name and password (if already set by you). Under Settings click on Service Books, Now click on send service book. You'll receive mails from activation server.

  • I'm not receiving emails from 2 specific domains to my .mac email. Both have the correct address and I don't have any rules set up. Anyone know why this is happening?

I'm not receiving emails from 2 places. I don't have rules set up and both senders have the correct address. The messages aren't in my junk folder either. This is for my.mac account. Anyone know how to fix?

That just sounds like the mail headers. Most people don't know (or care) about them so they're usually hidden.
Check Mail -> Preferences -> Viewing -> Show header detail
I'm guessing it's set to 'All'. Switch it to 'Default' or None as you prefer.

Do you have one, two or more entries in the left colum of Mail.app for your mail server(s)?  That is, do you have your Mail.app set up with either a btinternet entry, with a btyahoo entry, or both?  Or more?
I'm guessing that you might have one account (btyahoo?) listed for incoming (IMAP server) mail, and with the outbound (SMTP server) mail is configured and named btinternet.
Based on what little I see posted, it looks like BT uses both btinternet and btyahoo, but I'm not exactly clear on how they have their stuff set up, and their web set gets helpful and tries to help configure my mail — I don't immediately see a single web page with the mail server set-up details.  The BT email client set-up starts here.

  • Curve 8530 not receiving emails from contacts

Hi, about a week ago, my Curve stopped receiving emails from people in my contacts list.  I will still get them from companies that I've placed orders with in the past, as well as a notification that someone replied to a post I made on here earlier this week, but anyone in my address book isn't getting through to the phone, but they're in the inbox on Yahoo!  I ran the diagnostic check that someone suggested, and the email address said "no" after it for connected.  I don't know how to fix this.  I've had the phone since May and never had an issue until now.  I've spent over an hour on the phone with Verizon trying to solve it and they couldn't figure it out.  I've deleted the account & added it back and I receive the email telling me it's registered, but no more.  Also, when I go into "Folder Reconciliation" nothing is checked off, and I don't know how to do it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated for me.  Thank you.

Had my Curve 8530 for more than a year issue-free with Verizon. Have an Outlook Web Access (OWA) and Hotmail email account registered. Last night, OWA messages was not being received and cannot be sent from the phone using the OWA account. However, the Hotmail account is working just fine, messages being sent and received. I have tried:
    1) Rebooting/Removed battery
    2) Updating password, username, and server URL under email accounts.
    3) Re-registered the phone to the network. After 20 minutes, no change.
    4) Resent service book for the account.
    5) Ran diagnostic of mobile network. All "Yes" except for "Connected to: [OWA account] : No"
1-5 is all the troubleshooting I've found for the Curve 8530 and nothing has helped. Please help!
I would suggest that you do ALL of the above again.
If your service is not restored, you really need to call Verizon tech support and ask for your issue to be escalated to RIM level tech support.

  • Not receiving emails from a certain address

Myslef or my wife, both of which have icloud emails, are not receiving emails from a relator business. We are able to send emails to them, they receive them, but on their reply, we don't get them. I have tried adjusting the spam filters, to no avail. The realtor is able to send email just fine to my work email, but not to either of our me.com addresses.. why would this be? Does anyone have any ideas? We receive email just fine from many other sources.. however, who knows how many emails we haven't received because of this.
    Thanks,
    Brian

I am having the same problem not getting emails from 'some' people to my me.com addresses.  I can send and they receive but I don't get their replies.  If they cc my yahoo.com address I do get them there.
Tonight I tried to get 2 free songs from this band http://www.thelimousines.com/ .  I tried all variations of mac.com and me.com but never got the download song link.  On a whim I tried using my yahoo.com address and I got a reply immediately.   Something is wonky.  If you figure it out please post it here.  Thanks

  • Can not receive emails from third party email accounts

Recently I started working for a small business which has small business server 2011 and exchange 2010 installed. Before I started there were eight user accounts and they all have unlimited email access. I created a few users through sbs AD and also from
exchange console a week ago. Unfortunately none of them can not receive emails from third party accounts. they all can receive internal emails and also can send mails to any email accounts internally and externally.
This is a night mare for me as new users are having trouble with communicating via mails. I have tried all the methods and now thought of posting this issue on tech net. Please help me on this!!
    Thanks a lot!!
    Sammy

Checklist for testing inbound email problems, I am assuming outbound emails works ok.
    1. Check Port 25 forwarding on all modems routers/firewalls
    2. MX Record is created and pointing to the correct Public IP Address, use MXToolbox.com to verify MX Record and test SMTP flow. Also Verify your public IP has not changed, use whatsmyip.org to check you public IP
    3. If using POP Connector Service, make sure POP accounts are created properly
    4. If using a 3rd party spam host, make sure they forward email to correct public IP address, use step 2 to verify your public IP.

  • Received emails from Verizon - Pictures do not show correctly and strange characters appear in text

When I receive emails from Verizon users, embedded images do not display inline.  Each image(s) instead is displayed as a empty box with the red X boxed at the upper left.  The images are correctly displayed at the very end of the email.
Additionally, dotted capital A's appears frequently within the text as well as other extraneous characters and symbols.
Do I have an incorrect setting in Live Mail (Outlook express displays the same) or is it something Verizon is doing?  All of my other emails from different providers display properly.
Thanks in advance for any assistance which might be offered.

I have the same problem rec eiving from a friend who uses verizon. I use aol and even opened it in Internet Exporer and the same thing happened. This is a programing glitch with verizon email. I get the text in the email but the white squares with an x and no image. I have to downlod the images and open it as an attachment. The problem is you look at the image without the text which might be describing the image. Very inconvient. The person sending the emal has to enable the rich text option . I am still looking on how to do it on Verizon email but since I don't have it I am having trouble finding a solution.

  • How do I Set up email acc so I can receive emails from another property

I have 2 homes and both have Broadband but with different providers (talktalk and tiscali). I have just move to Apple from Windows. With Mac mail I don't seem to be able to set up an account to read the emails from the property that does not have that provider. So house A has provider A and house B provider B. Windows allowed me at house A to to send and receive emails from provider A and read emails from provider B. At house B I could send and receive B emails and only receive A emails. I want to do the same with my Mac. How do I do this as when I go through the set up accounts process it seems to force me to register both the POP3 and SMTP for A and B and when it cannot find the outgoing server (in this case B when I am at house A). With windows it allowed you to set them both up at both houses because it did not perform a check as you set the accounts up.

Welcome to the Apple user discussion forums

I do not understand your problem or your question
In general what I have found is that some (many?) internet providers will not allow you to sent e-mail if you are not on their network but there is no problem receiving e-mail
    I have two houses A & B and internet providers A & B but my e-mail provider is a separate company, provider C, I find the following:
    I can receive mail from C via POP3 from both houses A & B
In both houses I am unable to sent mail using SMTP using provider C but must use the local internet provider, provider A for house A and provider B
If you have e-mail accounts at both A & B you should be able to set up two accounts, one for provider A and one for provider B - both would use POP3 to receive mail and should work from either house - each would use its own SMTP service - A for house A and B for house B - If you want to send mail from account A in house B you would have to change the outgoing SMTP server while you are there and change it back when you go to house A - same for sending mail from account B while in house A
Maybe this helps - if not try asking again and maybe I'll get it beter next time

  • How to stop receiveing emails from email account?

Hi have a new pearl 8110.  I have it thru AT&T.  I have it configured thru BES.  I receive work emails thru the BES.  I was experimenting with the personal email and set it up to receive emails from my personal earthlink email account.  I decided I do not like that set up since I am unable to set the BB up so that work and personal emails go to separate folders (the personal ones will go to a separate folder and the general email folder and the work emails go to the general folder only).
At any rate, I want to delete the earthlink email account from the BB.  I deleted it from the servicebook, but I still am getting emails?
Any idea how to remedy this so that the earthlink emails stop showing up?
    Thanks.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Go to E-mail Settings icon on your home screen. Login using the user name and password (if passoword used while setting initial setup).  Go to Email Accounts under services and hit the delete button under the email ID that you want to delete.

Eversince installed Mountain Lion, i can't receive emails from my Microsoft Exchange account!!
Why is this so? I don't have this problem prior to installing the Mountain Lion OS X

Have you tried 10.8.1?  It includes fixes in this area.  Usually the problem is if Active Directory is returning incorrect Exchange information in response to an Autodiscover request.  In 10.8.1 you can manually edit this information.
