Don't return, put it on Ebay

I still kept my 3GS when I upgrade to iphone4
Now I go back to 3GS and sell it on eBay for $600.00(paid $200.00 for upgrade iPhone 4/16Gb). I make $400.00 easily
Thank you Steve Job :))

No, I returned mine. If you sell on eBay you may make $400 or more but you will be locked into Att of another 2 yrs.
I returned mine(it was a hassle). I guess apple doesn't want their return numbers to climb, but I'm not locked into AT&T for another two years.

  • Why can't I upload a picture from my desktop to put with an ebay auction

    I purchased an Intel Based Imac, 24" screen, in November and initially had problems uploading pictures from my desktop to put with my ebay auctions. After several attempts I was able to complete this task. However, 4 days ago, I'm now no longer able to upload any more pictures. I'm experiencing one of two problems, either I don't see the browse tab from the ebay site to search for the picture I want to upload, or I'm able to click the browse tab, choose the picture I want and start the uploading process, but soon after the picture starts to upload, the process stops. I'm able to do this task on my PC laptop. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

    I don't see the browse tab from the ebay site to search for the picture I want to upload
    I've had that incomplete browse tab thing happen - where there's no button to click - and concluded it's either an eBay issue or an ISP issue. However, for me, I was able to come back to it half an hour later and no problem doing the photo upload.
    Were you blocking pop-up windows at the time?
    I've also had the photo fail to upload, but never (yet) failed on the second attempt. I determined that the failure was due to my starting the upload process too quickly - before my thumbnail was showing after selecting the photo to be used. I just had to wait a few seconds more in the process to resolve that.

  • I opened a file on my desktop that I don't remember putting there.  It turned out to be a keychain certificate from a client of ours.  Does this mean that they were spying on me?  What is the deal with that?  Any ideas?

    I opened a file on my desktop that I don't remember putting there. We use many photos and I thought it was a photo file I was looking for. It turned out to be a keychain certificate from a client of ours.  Does this mean that they were spying on me?  What is the deal with that?  Any ideas?

    Interesting tid bit.  I created an AAC of the original file, deleted the original MP3 from my library and also deleted the Clean matched track from the icloud.
    Result is that it matched with the explicit version of Mrs. Officer this time.
    What I am curious about is which songs this is happening for. I've went thru a few batched of about 500 songs at a time and redownloaded in 256k for many tracks. Sadly we don't have people to bring this to our attention and I have so much music that it's impossible to go thru every song to make sure I am getting the right version.

  • How much $$$ will Verizon charge me if I don't return the Fascinate after receiving replacement?

    How much $$$ will Verizon charge me if I don't return the Fascinate after receiving replacement?
    I spoke with customer service and couldn't get a real number.  She just said it "could be up to $500, or more"
    to be determined after they don't receive it within the 5-day period.
    Is there a way to find out for sure how much it's going to cost?
    Thanks!
    Here's the reason I'm asking:
    I forgot to drop it off at FedEx on the way to the airport.  My entire family is now on an overseas trip and won't
    be back for 8 weeks.   The Fascinate, packed in Verizon box with FedEx box, is now sitting in my car trunk at
    the airport long-term parking lot.  I was supposed to stop by the FedEx office at the airport cargo area to drop
    it off, but forgot about it during the rush....   (yes, I do realize it's a stupid mistake that may end up costing a
    lot of money)

    Hi and good morning!
    I would like to review your account with you and ensure I can help resolve any concerns you have about being charged for this device. Please PM me directly so we can discuss this together. Also, include your name and mobile number with your PM to me.
    Thank you so much and have a safe overseas trip!

  • Return it or don't return it - faulty cable

    I've had a cable swapped out (for the 2nd time) as it burned out. The Apple site says I must return the faulty cable or I'll get charged. They've also given a returns label.
    However, inside the package I received is a piece of paper that says 'Don't return this hardware', or something like that.
    Why? And what should I do? I guess I can't do anything with the faulty cable, but it seems to me that if there's some fundamental problem with the electronics on my iPod causing burn-outs, I'd like to hold on to some of the evidence since I'm going to be annoyed when warranty lapses and they charge me every time it burns out.
    iPod 20Gb   Windows XP

    They don't always want back the faulty parts.
    The note probably does say to not return ANY parts.
    I had my headphones replaced and it said NOT to return any faulty parts that were replaced.
    They started asking for them back to keep people from simply getting "spares" when there was really nothing wrong in the first place.

  • Should I return this laptop? Ebay purchase. Please help - need more than one opinion! College student here

    First, it was an amazing deal of $525 for a 2011, 6gb RAM, 640 GB hard drive.
    BUT, i took it to the apple store and they said I should return it because...
    1) the screws on the bottom meant the seller refurbished it because they arent apple screws
    2) the hard drive failed their test which was sad for me to see
    3) the RAM sticks are two different sticks, one apple stick and one something else
    4) the keyboard only lights up in the middle which the apple people think is water damage but they cant really tell without opening it. they wont open it because of the screws.
    The reasons I dont think I should return it are....
    1) I can get a squaretrade warranty so if it does break I can return it
    2) $525 for a 2011 mac laptop is sooo good and unheard of, but I may be able to find another similar deal on craigslist so this might not be a valid reason
    3) i've been heavily using it for a week without any issues
    4) i dont want to spend more new hours searching for a laptop
    5) i might not be able to find one on time for when school starts
    BACKROUND INFO #1: it has ZERO dents, scratches, or dings - nothing else except whats listed above is wrong with it
    BACKGROUND INFO #2: I am a college student who has had 7 PC's crash in the past 5 years. I gave up on PC and invested in this mac. I'm tired of losing my files and forgetting to back it up into my emails every week.
    so looking at all that, what do you think I should do? AKA if you were in my shoes you would do what?

    Now you know why it was $525.  Also realize you are getting a computer that isn't a warranty computer.  How much did you save?
    Read the fine print on the Squaretrade warranty.  Make sure they won't turn it away for the same reason Apple does.
    Can you live without the light?  Even if it got wet in the past it boots now.  If I buy a used car and the radio doesn't work but I get it for a really good price then I figure that's part of it if I can live with it and it doesn't interfer with day to day use.
    It would be nice to know why the hard drive failed their test. Obviously if the computer boots it isn't total toast.  Clearly somebody has been inside the computer to add RAM and maybe change the drive?  That doesn't freak me in a used computer.
    Maybe somebody can comment on non idential RAM but with some computers with RAM from a reputable upgrade source it doesn't matter.  Post the exact specs of the second chip.
    My only question is, how up-front was the person from whom you bought the computer?  Did they tell you about the light?  It isn't a critical part but it is something you can assume to be working unless they tell you it isn't.  If they didn't, what else didn't they tell you?
    Screws will freak Apple Service because they only look at stuff where they know 100% what's been done to it and nobody not-certified has messed with it.  I have done all kinds of things to my computer that would have voided the original warranty 20x over but it long ago went out of warranty.  It purrs.

  • Outer joins don't return expected results in Oracle 10g

    I don't know where to report oracle bugs. So I'm writing here for someone to verify it again and report is a bug to oracle.
    --Creating two table and inserting records in each tables
    create table table1 ( pk_id number(6) primary key, name_tx varchar2(20) );
    create table table1_nls (pk_id number(6) primary key, parent_id number(6), heading varchar2(20), lang_code varchar2(3) );
    insert into table1 values( 1, 'test1' );
    insert into table1_nls values( 1, 1, 'test heading', 'enu' );
    --problem is with the following query.
    select * from table1, (select parent_id, heading from table1_nls where lang_code = '' ) table1_nls
    where table1.PK_ID = table1_nls.PARENT_ID(+) and pk_id = 1
    This returns back one row in Oracle 9i, but none in oracle 10g. If I substitute " lang_code = '' " with lang_code='something' or lang_code is null it works fine. The problem is with comparing the empty value ('').
    Logically lang_code is null is the right way of writing the query, but empty ('') works in Oracle 9i,
    Is this a valid bug?
    If not migration steps should account for this in programs.
    drop table table1;
    drop table table1_nls;

    You want to go to metalink.oracle.com and create a "TAR".

    As I use Pro Tools I can't use F11/F12 for dashboard/desktop, so I've used the preferences to set them to F13 and ^F13. This works fine including when I 'sleep' the Mac. However, if I shut the Mac down then the next time it's turned on those shortcuts don't work - they show up in preferences but are not checked, I have to re-check them to enable them. How can I make them stay put?

    friend of mine has similiar issues....but her keyboard shortcuts don't even stay. they are reset to the defaults on a restart. she has to enter them again, not just re-enable them.

  • Credit Memo should NOT be allowed before PGR is done in returns

    HI,
    Currently i am able to post Credit Memo even if the PGR has not beeen done for the Returns, but i dont want this. I want that Credit Memo should be allowed only if PGR has been done.
    Kindly advise how this can be done.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    Delete the copy control between your order and credit memo in VTFA T.code.
    And maintainthe copy control between your Returns delivery and credit memo so that it will allow to create a creditmemo after doing the PGR.
    In VOV8 T.Code maintain only delivery related billing billing type by removing order related billing type in billing tab.
    Hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • Ipod touch question. Any way to keep my ipod from populating my album list with stuff I bought on itunes even if I don't manually put them on my ipod.

    I have my ipod set to sync manually and even when I completely reboot my ipod it always puts on my albums list 20 or so albums I bought on itunes years ago that I don't want on there. It doesn't download them so they won't play unless I click to download them but it's annoying scrolling through your music and having stuff on there you don't listen to and can't get rid of.

    Like I said I have my ipod set to sync manually and even with that setting it is still showing some "itunes purchased" albums on my ipod album list. They are not synced though because when you go to play them it shows them as not downloaded.

  • StmtFetch don't return OCI_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO

    I am making a select * from a table containing null values I define in defineByPOs for all the columns a different indicator variable, so that OCI don't bring an error message, but i don't receive the return code OCI_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO as describe in the documentation.
    I am using OCI 8.x.
    Any ideas? Thanks for an answer

    The table from which i am makking a select * have many rows and 26 columns. Some of the values are NULL, I define in the decribeByPos call for each columns an different indicator value. The Stmtfetch call give me the values and following return codes
    OCI_SUCCESS: Datas are there
    OCI_NO_DATA: They are no more rows
    I don't understand why i never receive a OCI_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO as describe in the documentation.

  • Item don't return to SC if you try to print while you are in catlog

    Our Client is in SRM6.0 and they have long pending issue related to IE7. We have opened OSS msg with SAP and we got respond that this is an current architect issue of SRM6.0. I would like to know if this problem do exists in SRM7.0 or SAP was able to resolved it in SRM7.0.
    Here are the details of the problem
    When a user prints any page of a punch-out catalog, SRM will not return the items to the shopping cart. Instead, it will default back to the Step 1 / Catalog Selection screen. At any point while at the punch-out web site, right click and print the web page. When the items are checked out of the punch-out, they will not be returned to the SC, rather, SRM will default back to the Step 1/Catalog Selection screen. These issues, however, are related strictly to returning from a PUNCHOUT catalog. That is, a catalog hosted remotely by the supplier.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Sorry, I see a response from SAP and they confirmed this problem exists in SRM7.0 too.  They are working with Microsoft to resolve this issue.
