Don't understand how to transfer from iWeb to personal website

I have created a website on iWeb but I don't understand how to transfer it to my own domain name through my university. I'm not very good with technology and don't really understand what an FTP is. Is that what I would use Dreamweaver for?
No, you should not use Dreamweaver. A good ftp program is Cyberduck.

You publish your site to a folder and then upload it with Cyberduck. I recommend you ask the IT Help desk of your university about how best to do this.

You will create the iCloud account on your iOS device, and when you do, don’t forget to turn on contact syncing in the initial setup. Then you will want to download the iCloud control panel for Windows onto your computer and install it:

Make sure that your contacts are in Outlook, as that is the supported way of syncing your contacts to iCloud, then make sure you have the contact syncing enabled in the iCloud control panel on your computer, and when the contacts have synced, they will be available on your iOS device! the simplest way, assuming all your media files are in the default location, would be to connect the two Macs with a firewire cable, boot the source Mac in Target Disk Mode, and copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder) from <MacintoshHD>/users/yourname/music on the source to <MacintoshHD>/users/yourname/music on the target (overwriting the iTunes folder in place there).

Well, if they were synced fomr a computer then the iPhone says the computer "owns" them for instructional purposes. You have two options.
1) Plug your iPhone up to any computer with iTunes. You can get itunes at www.itunes.com Then tell it to sync photos, but then select no photos or an empty folder. This will override what the previous computer put on your iPhone.
2) Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings and say goodbye to everything including those synced photos. If you make a quick backup first in iCloud (be sure it finishes) then you can restore form your iCloud backup via Wifi and those synced photos wont be there. What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

There are a number of third party utilities you can use to retrieve the files from your iPod. This is just a selection.

If your iPod was set for automatic update change it to manual update. While connecting the iPod to the computer, hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 30 seconds depending on your computer. Then go to Preferences>iPod and check the "Manually manage songs and playlists" box.
Keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync again.
Another way is to connect your iPod and before it starts to sync, click the little X on the right hand side of the display beside the "Do Not Disconnect" message. The display is the little window to the right of the iTunes control buttons: iPod Interface

Right clicking on your ipod in the device list an d choosing "transfer purchases" will copy apps and bought media from iTunes to your computer. Due to the new iTunes library on your new HD, iTunes will erase your ipod during the first sync. Basically it's backing up manually, transferring her purchases (apps and bought music), letting iTunes erase the ipod due to the new iTunes library, and restoring from the manual backup again, to get all the data and settings back.
Make sure your new computer account is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

I don't understand how to update my OS software!

T-Mobile finally released the 4.5 version of the BlackBerry software but I don't understand how to update my phone's OS. Their instructions are extremely confusing (leaving out information) and I'm just not sure how to do this. All I want to do is update the OS, I don't want to delete anything from the phone.
Their instructions say to download the file from their website to update but they fail to tell you when to connect you phone (hey I'm a new user of these phones) so the **bleep** software installs on my pc! I'm like wtf??? Then on further down their instruction page they tell you to put a check mark in back up my settings but leave the checkmarks below that for delete apps, etc unchecked...yet I can't uncheck them, there are checkmarks in them already and the boxes are greyed out and I can't remove the checkmarks.
I just don't know what to do, I do not want to have to sit here for hours resetting up my phone all over again (it's really a pain in the ass)! Isn't there a way to just update the OS on the phone without deleting anything from the phone? If not f this then!

OK and when I run desktop manager then what do I do? There are no instructions after this setup with my mobile carrier, they just leave me hanging. Also, is my phone going to be wiped or will it just update the OS? I don't want to lose all my settings that took me hours to setup on this thing and have to redo everything all over again. Backup? I don't understand how to do that either (again all of this is new to me). I don't have a second phone where I can call T-Mobile on the phone and have them walk me through it, I only have my cell that's it. They refuse to give me instructions unless I'm on another phone when I call them, why they won't let me write them down is beyond me...these carriers are getting mighty picky these days on customer service/technical support.

After approaching the my bank, i was asked to cancel my credit card and was replaced with a new card in May. However, in June I was again charged on my new card. While it is possible you have a faulty unit I'd agree that the menu system took a step backwards with the itunes store centric take 2.0+ software. I think I'm in the minority here though. Apart from the 2.0+ top level interface being butt ugly and confusing to navigate, it simply isn't as responsive as 1.0/1.1 and I think most of this is to do with displaying a combined sync/stream menu. if you sync stuff try setting 'show only synced items' in the AppleTv device tabs in iTunes and see if it makes the issue go away - easy to revert back.
Huge libraries (number of files not actual size of the files) can also be problematic given AppleTV's modest hardware specs but that's more exception than the rule.
With streaming/syncing combined I also think any network deficiencies show up more than they used to.
