If you are an owner of Macromedia Studio 8 and you want to
upgrade to FireworksCS3, don't!. Adobe's eligiblity requirements
are misleading at best as indicated on this page:

I held on the phone for over 2 1/2 hours with Adobe Customer
Service and got no where with them. They are unresponsive to a
long-time customer who has been with Adobe for over 15 years. Their
explanations are beyond belief. So, unless you want to pay full
price for Fireworks, don't take the time to download the upgrade. I
am very disappointed in Adobe's response. They have done with
Macromedia what I thought they would: ruin a good responsive
company.

Studio 8 wasn't listed as an option on that page.
Because you own Studio 8, doesn't mean you own the stand
alone version
of Fireworks 8. If that was the case you could upgrade all of
the Studio
8 applications to individual stand alone CS3 versions, then
upgrade to
CS3 Web premium and have two sets of software at upgrade
prices.
I can see why they wouldn't do that.

We are fellow users here on these forums, if you would like help then you will need to provide more information that 'I don't buy with this $10' - what happens when you try to buy them, if you are getting an error message then what does it say ? How much are the gems that you are trying to buy - you need to add on your state's sales tax to the listed price, would that take it over your account's balance ?

Buying a VZW iPhone today WITHOUT an upgrade? Dont buy it from VZW!

Yup imagine my surprise when I was told numerous times the only place to preorder this phone was from VZW website (even still on their on hold message this moring when you call in) only to find that teh !%#%@#%@ phone I woke up at 2:50 AM to order is $50 CHEAPER at APPLE with free shipping also! UNREAL! Also my order is slated to SHIP on the 10th. {word filter avoidance} was the point in pre ordering to get it AFTER everyone else !?
I'm LIVID. I've waited FOUR YEARS for this phone just paid ~$800 for it and the guy I talked to at VZW customer service (while VERY nice) didnt seem to really care that not only I got shafted for $50 but also not getting it early.

This is where you do research. it was all over the news, and the web that you could pre-order from apple.
And, it says that as the ship date because that is when the phone is "officially' in the system.
Read the FAQ your phone will be there on or before the 10th.

My first Micro I bought about 9 months ago. I am on my third Micro and it has malfunctioned straight out of the box (hangs at the "Creative" logo). The first time I turned it on, it did this (yes I fully charged it first)I initially posted a couple of positi've comments about the time it took for me to get my replacement-but the replacement is faulty.?The first two had the head jack issue (I use an "L" shaped headphone jack).?I'm fairly cautious the way I teat my "toys". I even keep boxes in the event I want to sell it. The only time I use mine is during cardio on a treadmill in the mornings and I clip it onto my side to ensure my body heat and sweat does not cause and moisture damage.I don't normally mind if a product malfunctions so long as the manufacturer honours it warranty . Indeed it gives me confidence in the company and I tend to stick with that company as they are credible in my mind. And While I realize Creative has tried to do this, this is the THIRD Zen Micro, that has malfunctioned. I'm not really interested in paying for shipping to have this item returned to them, only to risk having a fourth malfunctioning unit, (not to mention waiting an additional two weeks). So unless I have a working unit at my door in a day or two I can't see how this can be remedied. I'd rather put the cost of shipping the unit back to them, towards another manufacturer's mp3 player.

Ive always loved Itunes, Ive always thought it was the easiest way to build a library, either music, or movies, ebooks or what have you. Now this new "Icloud" comes into the picture and tells me more than half of my digital movies cant be played because my pc isnt HD compatible, I watched every movie i have in my Itunes library before, therfore I am so frustrated, no one seems to have any answers for me, I think most would feel out of hundreds of dollars of digital movies and feel the same way.....I dont buy movies from Itunes but every movie I've ever bought off the shelves at stores that has digital download on it is put in my itunes library. I am having a similar problem with iTunes 11 on a Windows 7 box. I was able to rent and play HD movies befor "upgrading" to iTunes 11, however now when I try and rent a movie in HD I get the error: "This cannot be played in HD on this computer. You must rent and watch the HD version on an HD-compatible device. Or, you can rent the SD version and watch it on this computer."
Guess i'll be renting movies from XBox from now on.

Well?I been thinking of buying the Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro instead of using my onboard sound. But I started to read on other fourms and product reviews and its about half split between on using a digital optical connection. I have these speakershttp://www.klipsch.com/products/deta...gmx-d-5-.aspx??(copy and paste)and I tried using all other connection that it has and they all gave very poor sound quality, all except when I went and bought a? digital fiber optical cord then it improved 0%. But when I went to make my back speakers louder I can not adjust any of the speakers.:smileysurprised: In fact I really can't control anything! So then I tried using the other connection?and I could controll the front right and left but had?poor sound and still not being able to control the others. So my question is if I buy this sound card will it fix all my problems like not being able to control each speaker?speakers? Another thing sense I have this hub will it even work with a sound card like this or (last resort) would I just be better off buying a new pair of speakers and this sound card (really don't want to get new ones?saying these are only 2 months old)? Wait until a PCIe Version of X-FI hits the market. Dont buy a PCI X-FI now. This card isnt worth the price in a new system because of SCP and many problems. Even if this card is working in your system perfectly, in Windows Vista there are many problems to solve for creative, especially Directsound is a missing factor in this OS which isnt adressed now. Alchemie is working, but it is not a solution for every game, and it looks like "patching" but not solving an issue. Creative is not to blame for this, but i think with a new PCIe X-FI creative will make a step ahead. I hope they will! I hope Microsoft will include Directsound again. I remember there was a similiar situation with WinXP and OpenGL. but implementing OpenGL is easier, because it requires?only a DLL file. I have too add that my X-FI is running fine in most ways, i can produce SCP with my SCSI controller, but i dont use this thing in normal way. Dont buy a Western Digital, get a Hitachi or Seagate (Toshiba is made by Hitachi). These are the most reliable, and the HD used inside Macs.
ALL HD can be made compatible with your MAC (including a WD if you already bought same), ......they just need to be formatted for the Mac platform, format them in Disk Utility as Mac OSX extended journaled.

I saw a refurbished item I want to purchase in the US Online Store, is there a way I can purchase this item with my mexican credit card, I didnt think it would be a problem and was setting it all up until I came to the billing address fields, it asks for a US address. It would still be shipped within the US, its just my credit card billing address which is giving me a little problem.. And I also have an american credit card, from wells fargo, for when I travel, but it also has mexican billing address I know some of you will just ask why I dont buy it from the apple mx site, the problem is there are no refurbished items there, we can only get full priced items, and the difference is huge, I would be paying at least 30% more...

What's up is that the Verizon sales rep either doesn't know what he/she is talking about, has misinformation and has formed an incorrect opinion based on that, or quite possibily is getting a bonus or other pressure to sell other, less popular phones that they have too many of. Many millions of people are very happy with their iPhone 5s.
