Dont wake up :(

Ok first of all, iam very new to the macbook, so this problem is maybe esy to solve..
- I was browsing on internet
- I closed the lid because i had to eat.
- I came back.. opened the lid and a messeage appeared that told me to restart the macbook
- And so i did.
- Now it won't work.
Everytime I turn the macbook on, the screen blinks and then the white light on the front of the computer starts to glow..
it seems like it is in some kind of sleepmode, but I can't get the keyboard to work.
Do someone know what I should do?

MacBook Pro dont wake up properly

I have activated hot corner on my Macbook Pro 17" when I leave my desk for a short time I bring the mouse on hot corner and it goes to sleep. Some time when I move my mouse screen will be lightened and mouse will be visible but login screen wont come up, there will be no option for login and nothing will work, when I press any key it will just give a small error sound as I am clicking or pressing wrong button.
I will lose all of my work and I have to restart my mac from power button.

M40X-233 Don't Wake after Suspension or Hibernation

Hi to All,
I have a M40X-233 and the problem is: The machine don't wake up after suspension or hibernation.
When system suspend the power button lits flasing red.
When press power button agian system dont wake anymore.
The only solution is remain pressing until power off.
Already uninstall all Toshiba Power Saver related components
and install agian with lastest version and problem persist.
Any sugestion will be very welcome.

Satellite L850-A635 does not wake up from sleep mode

purchase date: 6 june 2012
when i put it in sleep mode it goes to sleep but when i come to boot, it dont wake up unless i take the battery out, put it back and turn on again.
please advise me how can i solve this issue

Tempro will notify you if new BIOS has been uploaded.
But I recommend you downloading such BIOS manually from the Toshiba European driver page and then to run a update

NEW IOS

Just venting here, My Ipad is becomming useless because i cant updated it to the new IOS 7. Yes I know it's about 4 years old now. I paid $900 for it when i bought it. now apple is forceing to upgread to a newer one. Well when i bought it there was no other option really aviabile at that time. now there are many options. and a lot better prices. i use to be a die hard Apple guy but no more. when i buy another tablet it wont be Apple because the price is twice as much and better options on the other tablets. Apple you all need to wake up or your going to start loseing more than the phone market. First you need to lower the price of your produts by half or you will lose a large amout of die hard Apple users. That will be a road hard to recover from. Look what happend to IBM and thier PC market.

Sure I am, I am an IT Tech for a very larg company and have been for 32 years. and yes i love the apple products. but atleast on my older WIN or other operarating systems i stll can use them. no matter how old they are.
It is a new world now for the tablet market and Apple is losing or will be. mark my word. they are going to have to lower thier prices to stay on top. Look at what happend to IBM with thier arragence. they had the pc market in the pocket but refuesed to abandand thier micro channel and price thier pc competively. All because they thought they were the best. Same happend with FedEx but now they are competively pricing and it is working. Times are hard now and there are a lot of other tablets that give apple a very good run for thier money. and they will win in the long run if they dont wake up and realize that just because we are apple you have to pay twice as much. besides lowering price they could atlest post the older app that will work with the older products. I can buy 2 of the other tablets for the price of one of the new ipads. the bottem line is i would rater go Apple but even if the other tablet go opsalete i can afford to buy more of them every few years. cost is driving the market these days not brand names. I just bought my dauther a WIN noteook and i have to admit it really cool and i did not have to pay and arm and a leg for it.Glad you can afford to pay the price fo the new stuff. im sure Apple will do well for a few more years but the others are catching up with better options. and will take a lot more of the market. even the IPhone has lost a lot of the mareket that they use to have..

Since upgrading to IOS 8 , Facetime connection trouble

Sorry but another complaint.
My GF and I did upgrade to IOS 8. Since then, we have difficulty to communicate with each others on FT. She has a 5s, I have a 6
* Facetime doesnt react on my phone when she ring me (phone dont wake up but it does on my ipad)
* We try to connect, but after 5 mn fail.
* sound drops or get scrambled
* lag in conversation. 4 second delay while talking
I switched to Skype wich have a worse image quality but I connect

Follow the below instructions to address the wifi issues that you are seeing :-
Navigate to Privacy - Location Services - System Services ( at the bottom ) - WiFi Networking.
By default Wi-Fi Networking will be on .. turn it off.
It worked for me, hope it will work for you too :-).

Using another compatible battery to the phone will help isolate the issue. Does the phone have enough power? How old the SIM you have in it?

Sleeping monitor HP F2105

My monitor going to sleep and dont wake up again before i get the desktop screen.. if i turn off & turn it on again , it stays 3 seconds and sleep again..!! the menu buttons on the monitor dont work on the screen.. how can i solve this?

I also have a HP f2105 attached to an HP a1630n running Windows XP and another PC running Windows 7. These are connected using a KVA switch. I tried disconnecting from the KVA switch and connecting the monitor directly to each PC but did not solve the problem. The problem seems to be getting worse as I will be on the computer for a few minutes then the monitor goes to sleep but can be woken up by pressing the blue on/off button and then right clicking mouse. It will then stay awake for a few minutes then go to sleep again.
I tried resetting to factory reset, pressing and holding the on/off button for 70 seconds to no avail. The setting when comes back are:
VGA Input: No Signal (is connected to the video card though)
DVI Input: Active
Mode H=64kHZ, V=59kHZ
The resolution is set to 1680 X 1050

MANUALLY spinning down the hard drive/s?

I have a early 2004 G5.
I want to know if there is a way to MANUALLY (as is on demand) spin down the hard drive/s WITHOUT putting the computer to sleep.
As I recall this was a piece of functionality that was in the old pre OSX operating system but as far as we can see is no longer available (besides checking the "put the hard disk to sleep when possible" box in the Energy Saver system pref).

All I can think of only comes close to your query: spinning them down sooner than the default ten minutes that you have to wait for when checking the "put the hard disk to sleep when possible" box in Energy Saver.
Set it to one minute, by running this Terminal command:
*sudo pmset -a disksleep 1*
(set it back to default ten minutes with this command:
*sudo pmset -a disksleep 10* )
Note that spinning HDs up and down and up and down all the time shortens their life.
I guess you need to spin them down as soon as possible because they dont wake up often in the way you use your Mac?

Apple can fix it without your receipt or box. They pull the serial number from the device and determine warranty status from that. Hopefully ApplCare was registered to the product before you lost the receipt though. If not, you can go back to the point of purchase and obtain your AppleCare receipt and Apple can help attach it to the iPhone.

No. We can't help you. Apple does not sell iPhone parts. The only sources for iPhone parts are:
a) counterfeit parts
b) stolen parts
c) parts salvaged from other phones.
In addition, the iPhone is not user servicable. Apple won't touch that phone any more.
Find a competent 3rd party repair shop or buy a new phone.

try moisturising your finger a bit if the skin is too dry it can give problems

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:
iOS: Unable to update or restore and iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
