Dont work driver on Scanner ScanJet 300 on winows 7

Please, create new drivers for Scanner ScanJet 300 on Windows 7 platform. I have this divace. Dont work it on Windows 7. Windows 7 and drivers of ScanJet 300 scanner are not complianted.

hi, i have a hp pavilion dv7-1245dx, i format de drive c and install the windows vista 64 in spanish because im in argentina, but before search and install all drivers,my media smart quik lunch button dont't work, I intall all drivers from the hp web, then the media smart button work bad because y install the dvd play and when I push the buttom sound like i push 2 twise and open the dvd play no the mediasmart menu, then i unistall the dvd play, the media samart work good from the computer icon but to the button dont work, sound like two twise again but dont open nothing, y don't know what to do? I unistall and install again all quik lunch buttons and finger print drivers.help me plase, and another thin. when i format i lost the webcam software i would like someone help me to recober it .

I have the exact same problem. I noticed this started after some windows update just prior to upgrading to Windows 7. And then it got worse after the upgrade.
I'm having to go into the task manager and end the smartmenu.exe application just to stop the nagging volume bar across the middle of the screen and just to use the computer, but the Volume still jumps around rapidly.
Please, HP read this and help.

Problem with HP Scanjet 300

Hello, I bought an HP Scanjet 300 scanner and I have a problem with installing the drivers for it. When I open the CD and click on the black setup.exe icon, the setup launches and after a minute an error message pops up, saying hpzsetup.exe Access denied and only an OK button to click. There is no additional information or any further details.
I am using Windows XP SP3, 32-bit OS. There is .NET Framework installed, and the user has administrator rights. There is enough disk space on the system partition.
I found via Google and downloaded some HP tool for setting access rights and run it, but to no avail. I then downloaded from the HP site two sets of drivers, one full and one basic. They were packed into SFX archives. The full set led to the same error mesage appearing. I was able to install the basic set of drivers, but apparently it didn't include any software and I had no indication of successfully installing the scanner. I tried plugging it in, and the internal software of the OS kicked in, allowing me to scan an image at 200dpi or something like that, at a horrible level of quality. When I tried to increase the dpi to 4800, there was an error message, stating "not enough space", and at 2400dpi the entire application froze. At any rate, how can I install the drivers? What should I change, can I install it in parts via the rest of the files on the CD? Can I just install the correct .inf file and run the software from a separate installer?
I have had an HP Deskjet 5100 a while ago, and I currently have an HP Laserjet 1010. I uninstalled the HP 5100 drivers and all the rest of its software, and rebooted, but to no avail, the error was still there. I remember that when I installed the HP Laserjet 1010, there was a different error about a .dll file missing, but I downloaded it off the web and the error disappeared. What to do now? LOL. Thats not a 'problem'. This feature prevents the phone screen getting activated while accidentally pressing any other keys when the screen is locked other than lock and that red key.
If you have locked your screen when phone call is being done, then you have to unlock the screen by pressing the unlock key otherwise in that case you will even not be able to terminate the call.

Can I use Airport Express to connect to a printer, Time Machine Back up drive, second b/u drive, and scanner through a USB hub? if so, how?

I have an Airport Express that connects to my printer. I'd like to add a scanner, and two back up drives (one for use with Time Capsule, another specifically for photographs backed up from Adobe Lightroom.
The printer connects to the Airport Express through a USB hub and is recognized. I cannot get the scanner nor either of the back up drives to be recognized. Is there a way to do it or will I need to rely on a USB hub wired to the USB port of the MacBookPro? If it is possible, can you walk me through the set up for each?

I'd like to add a scanner, and two back up drives (one for use with Time Capsule, another specifically for photographs backed up from Adobe Lightroom.
Unfortunately, the USB port on the AirPort Express will only work with a compatible printer.
It will not work with a scanner, copier, or hard drive.
It should be possible to do what you want by connecting a powered USB hub to your Mac and then connecting the devices to the powered hub.
The setup for the scanner and hard drive would be covered by the manfacturers documentation, so providing specific advice for those types of products would be outside the realm of this support area.
But, if you can provide model numbers, it is always possible that another user who is using those products might see this post.

Pdf link dont work if document open in separate Acrobat window in internet explorer

We have many pdf with different links between this pdf. The link type is "Open a file".
- If the fist pdf document is open from hard drive this links works perfectly.
- If the pdf document is open from the web site (http://website/doc1.pdf) and adobe reader is configured to open pdf in internet explorer it work also.
- But if the reader is configured to open pdf in a external window this link dont work. The link try to open the second pdf in c://Internet Temporary Folder/ as root instead of http://website/
Does anyone know a workaround ? I don't know if my customers have configured the reader to open in internet explorer or in a external windows...

Recovery CDS dont work on new HDD

i bought a new hard drive because my original from my laptop went to shits.
the new hdd is in the laptop and i inserted the recovery cd from hp (they are original) and it says
"windows loading files" and then i get an error that says
"The instruction at 0x77a124a9 referenced memory at 0x00000000"
and it restarts and im back to square one. Does my HDD need to be OEM in order for the recovery cds to work ? or am i missing a step that im not doing properly.

I'm not sure which HDD you used, but I suspect that may be the issue. If you look at your Maintenance and Service Guide, it lists compatible part numbers and descriptions for your notebook. The HDD section is on page 55.

BT dongle dont work on Satellite A210-186

I got a Satellite A210-186 with Vista Premium. If I connect a BLUETOOTH DONGLE it installs normal its seen on hardware install. But it dont work no flashing light. If I put the dongle on my other normal pc it installs and the light goes flashing. It works correctly.
Why is it not working on my Toshiba?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you have a SATA controlled hard drive. Apparently, there's some kind of bug with SATA disks and Vista and Quicktime/itunes video...and possibly Nvidia is involved as well.
The workaround is sticking the video on a flash drive in order to play it (because that avoids the SATA controller and thus bypasses the issue). It's a crappy workaround, IMO...and I'm not spending another cent on iTunes videos until the issue is actually fixed.

The error message BIOHD-2 normally indicates that the hard drive has failed. Here is a guide to help you run the SMART test for the drive from the BIOS.
