Door Video App video direct to a 9900 phone

Has anyone setup a live video feed direct to an IP phone from a door intercom.
I was thinking if there was a way to have a live video feed from a video encoder to direcly disply on the phone like VTA. Has anyone done somthing like this.

Can't share videos directly on iphone/ ipod facebook app

i can't share videos on facebook lately. when i am using facebook app on both my iphone 4 and ipod touch, and i am watching a video on facebook, then i click "share" it ends up sharing a link on my wall with the thumbnail of "facebook" and a link called SHARE (m.facebook.com) then when i click on this link on my wall, it takes me to the video!
when i am using m.facebook.com from safari though, i can share the link to the video directly on my wall. any clue why is that? i dont' remember that it used ot be like this. i think i used to share video directly and normally on my wall from iphone facebook app!

The FaceBook app isn't an Apple product. Contact FaceBook for help on their products. FaceBook will be better integrated with iOS 6.

Capturing Video Direct to hard drive with FCS

I am using a Canon HX A1 and I am wondering if there is any way of capturing video directly to a hard drive while shooting without using Adobe On Location. Does FC have any functionality in this area or is there any other MAC friendly apps that do this?

You can capture a live feed with FCE, FCP, QT Pro and several other applications. Connect your camera via Firewire, in FCP, set Device Control to ":Non-Controllable Device" and use Capture Now.
NOTE: whenever using a Canon device for capturing of any type, it would be best to make sure that the Canon device is on it's own Firewire bus. You can achieve this by adding a Firewire card (thereby creating a new FW bus) or by capturing only to an internal hard drive.

Unable to download music or video directly to mobo...

in Nokia 710, unable to download music or video directly from internet explorer. Not having option to connect internet through pc suite. Unable to download apps from market place from debit card or net banking. Not having adobe flash player. Unable to edit office files who comes from mail. Totally Nokia 710 is famous for showing error msg that windows phone can't support this type of file. Totally waste.

You can stream music and videos from Internet Explorer (or SkyDrive). In order to transfer media to your phone, you use Zune.
You can download free (and trial) apps without a credit card but you can't buy apps.
Adobe Flash Player for mobiles is dead. It will dissapear from all mobiles. Simple as that.

Since photo stream doesn't support videos, you would need to use an app to do this. Dropbox may be a good choice as I believe once enabled, all you have to do is open the app and it will automatically upload photos and videos taken since the last upload to your Dropbox account (see https://www.dropbox.com/help/289/en). If you aren't familiar with Dropbox, it's a very popular cloud service for hosting files and other media. Amazon just announced that its Cloud Drive service will soon support photos (http://9to5mac.com/2013/05/10/amazon-launches-cloud-drive-photos-app-for-iphone) /; perhaps it will also be extended to support videos at some point.

There is a way to download youtube videos directly to you internet enable mobile. It doesn't need any software or java support. You just have to visit the video page in youtube and type the address as 'ssyoutube.com/watch/....
That's all you have to do.

I tried with My tube. Initially it worked successfully and I was pretty happy with the way it works.
But once after I upgrade it, it stopped working.
I had restored my IPAD and installed the My Tube App again, but still the App is not working at all.

I would say no. I have an Ipad2 with the connection kit. A recent Sony camera which works fine in imovie for my 27" imac, but nothing with the Ipad. Only thing that it finds are pictures that can be made with the same video camera. Apple wrote a note aboit probkmes with importing, but i'm very disappointed with what i have right now.

Not able to play video directly from websites like metacafe in safari browser

I recently purchased an iPhone 4S however I am not able to play videos directly from websites like metacafe.com and all others. Whereas few of my friends who bought iPhone 4S / 5 (factory unlocked) versions can very well play videos from all websites. Whenever they browse videos, it start streaming on their phones and stArt playing in QuickTime player. What is the reason of this behavior, is there something missing in my iPhone?

Is it possible to download video directly from my camcorder to my iPod?

I have a new 80GB iPod and I am aware that there is a connector that allows you to load phootos directly onto it but is there something similar that allows me to download video direct from my camcorder?

Expensive and I've never seen them on sale in the UK.
The issue I could see is that most dv cameras have a firewire connection and the iPod 5th gen is not firewire compatible for data transfer.

hi all, i am using Mac, i have a issue that i want to play flv videos directly in flv player when user clicks on video link.
In windows when i click on html video link then windows automatically play that video in corresponding player but in Mac it just opens that folder location where i kept those videos but dont play them.

How can I capture video directly into FCP without recording to tape first?

I hooked my Sony VX2000 to the computer via firewire and opened the Log and Capture dialog box. The video from my camera shows correctly in the preview window.
I click the Capture Now button and the capture window opens but no video displayed. The message below the window says "Waiting for Timecode".
I guess the camera doesn't send timecode when it's not recording so I press the record button. Now video shows up in the capture window. After 16 frames it freezes and an error box pops up that says "Capture Now has reached the end of the tape. All existing footage between the point where you started the capture and the end of the tape was captured successfully."
Foiled again! This has been a problem from time to time when I want to capture video from a source that does not supply timecode.
Is there any settings I can change to capture video directly from a camera using FCP without having to record it to tape in one step and then capture it in a second step?

I am aware of the danger of not having tape backup. Having worked with the new Panasonic AG-HVX200 it is a chore to free up the P2 cards fast enough to keep from starving the camera crew. Copying the P2 contents to a single hard drive is the practice but leaves the whole shoot at the mercy of a single point of failure.
As far as my capturing directly to HD, it isn't a problem for short podcasts that could be recreated quickly if lost. Also, I can still record to tape in the camera but avoid the second step of capture when I'm in my edit bay anyway.

Its funny. So far the responses have been 50/50 on this question. I even asked two seperate Apple Store employees here in NYC, and got two different answers! One said yes, the other no.

I know from watching the keynote speech about icloud and iOS 5 that you will be able to cut the cord between the pc and ios devices like the ipad. No more need to sync them via a cord. So will that mean i would then be able to load video directly to the ipad via tha cam kit connector from my ipod? Also i wonder if/when Apple will allow HD video from on Apple devices like a canon dslr to be able to transfer to the ipad via the cam kit connector AND be able to EDIT that footage in imovie for the ipad. Speaking of imovie for the ipad...i hope it gets an update soon as well.
Anyway....with the macbook airs getting updated next week with thunderbolt and new sandy bridge chips....i may just get one of them instead of the ipad 2 for editing video on the road. Still...i prefer surfing the web experience on the ipad. Grrrrrrr. **** youuuuuuu Apple!!! Lol
