Dos based script or command to backup iphone5

I am using iTunes 11 and iPhone 5 on window XP. I want to create iPhone 5 backup through iTunes services in my location(not in default location). can you provide any type of dos based script or command.

Solution Manager - eCatt issues during rec/exec of SAPGUI based scripts

Hi all,
after the last support package set up I started to encounter some problems during the recording and the execution of test scripts based on SAPGUI command.
During recording:
First time I try to record a transaction, after selecting SAPGUI command-->start recording; prompted to target system I try to logon, but obtain an error;
Second time the recording process goes on, but it happens that the system creates more than one window describing the new session's data (the windows has title "Record SAP GUI Command" and subtitle "New Session with Following Data was created")... Another one of such pop up is created even if I create another session of the target system...
During execution:
The first time I try to execute a test script which begins with a SAPGUI command the script fails with the following error:
Target Sys Zssssss_een->een_ccc->een (Target Sys Zssssss_een->een_ccc->een)
Error in eCATT command SAPGUI
Error when Starting Replay Session. Possible Causes: 1. Scripting Is Deactivated in Replay System.
2. User Has Not Logged On Within 00:00:45 Hours or Has No Dialog Rights. 3. Too Many Session Are
Open.
If I try to re-execute the same script a second time, everything goes fine, and I can complete script execution.
Does anyone have encountered similar problems?

Thanks a lot. But we have already resolved the problem. The error was in the ecatt script. In tcode secatt, after recording, the script included the rfc destination which was to be removed manually.

Script to Restore latest backup from portable drive

We are trying to write a script to automate the Restore of the most recent Windows Server Backup from a portable drive?
First part is to write a script to reload the backup catalog from the portable drive. What we have so far is:
$Bt = "\\?\Volume{58895c2e-a4f6-4143-8be0-83c858f516cc}\"
Restore-WBCatalog -BackupTarget $Bt -Force
But that doesn't work because it doesn't seem to like to volume label.
The second part is creating a command to start a WBAdmin restore using the latest latest volume to recover. This is where I could do with a few clues if anyone has any.

Hi Nike,
The error imply a wrong input type in the parameter "BackupTarget", which should be a type of "WBBackupTarget".
Please try to use the cmdlet "Get-WBCatalog", then pipe the result to the cmdlet "Restore-WBCatalog".
You can try the script below, please note I haven't tested:
$Policy = Get-WBPolicy
$Bt=Get-WBBackupTarget -Policy $Policy
Restore-WBCatalog -BackupTarget $Bt -Force
If there is no wbbackuptarget, please create a new one, to work with Backup and Restore in powershell, you can get cmdlets and good examples from here:

Call DOS-based exe file

Hi,
I have a DOS-based EXE file. When run it at DOS command window, it needs input 2 parameters at two rows respectively.
Now I want to call this exe file in Labview, How do I do?
I tried System Exec.vi, but I dont know how to pass the two parameters in the "stand input".
Detailed, my dos-base exe file runs at DOS command window like this:
c:abc.exe (click carriage return)
Input parm 1: a1
Input parm 2: a2
In the "command line" of the System Exec.vi, I can put "abc.exe", but how I can put the two input parameters "a1" and a2 at the standard input.

Thanks for your reply. But I still can not pass the two parameters in "command line" of System Exec.vi. For example, in the command line I put "abc.exe a1, a2", the DOS window was opened, still prompting me input a1, a2. Then another strange thing happened, when I input a1, a2, the DOS exe file seems not execute and quickly returns to Labview panel.
Do you know what should I do?

Script cleanup for full backup

I'd like to clean up some old scripts on the DB server (Oracle 10gR2).
There is a backup script for a full backup. I would like to remove the command "backup archivelog all" as "backup incremental level 0 database plus archivelog" already contains the archive logs. I would also like to remove the second "backup current controlfile" (the one just before "backup archivelog all") as I think it is redundant.
Or do I oversee anything?

What is really easier than controlfile autobackup ? Except maybe the case when you are not using a recovery catalog and you have lost all you current control files, you have to retrieve DBID before restoring control file from autobackup...
Oracle recommends that CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP be set to ON from Control File and Server Parameter File Autobackups.
It's even listed as number 8 in following Metalink note:

Error to execute the script through command prompt

I tried to execute the script through command prompt. I got some following error. Could you please advice me how to rectify this.

I haven't use CS for quite some time and file associations may not work with the command prompt.
You can try using Windows Explorer to browse to a .js file then right click on that file. From the popup menu choose Open With. Even if you see Photoshop in the file list choose Browse at the bottom. Browse to Photoshop and make sure to check 'Always use selected program...'
If that doesn't work you will need to create an action that runs your script and make a droplet from that action. You can then use the droplet in the command prompt. You may also need to create a 'dummy' image file to launch the droplet with if you script doesn't require an open document at startup. See http://www.ps-scripts.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=967

any having a handy script to check database backup chain ,
Database A --> Full backup -- Diff -- log1 --Log 2 ...... and scan through the files to validate if we can recover the database using the avaiable backups.

Using WEP w/ DOS based PC and 350 card.

We are currently using a DOS based PC that runs only a 5250 emulator. We connect to the network via a Cisco 350 card on a wide open wireless network. We have successfully set one of these units up to run of WEP side of our wireless. But all other units we cannot get to connect. We have tried loading all the different firmwares for the 350 card. All of the 4.x firmwares load fine and sets WEP key but won't connect to network. When we load the 5.x versions of the firmware, we get a Error Accessing Card: 8007 error when loading WEP key. We are wondering how to be able to get around this 8007 error, to be able to successfully try to connect with the newest firmware of the 350 card. Any thoughts?

I am using Crystal Reports Developer XI 11.5.8.826 - My database is MS Access 2003
I have created a report definition that is based on a query of multiple tables in the database, which is saved in Crystal Reports as a Command.
The report runs fine inside the Crystal Reports report designer.
I have a VB.NET 2.0 Windows Form application that contains a CrystalReportViewer control. I need to be able to set the location of the database at runtime. When I try to set the Table Location property to a different location than the design time location at runtime I get the login screen and no matter what I enter in the login screen I get a Login Failed error.
How do I set the DB location at runtime, when the report is based on a command?

When you run the Interactive Report, go to Actions drop down:
Actions->Format->Highlight
Name: (Give a name to the highlight operation)
Sequence: (The sequence in which multiple highlights should work)
Enabled: (Enabled/Disabled)
Highlight Type: (Row/Cell)
Background Color: (Background Color you want to set)
Text Color: (Text Color you want to set)
Highlight Condition:
1) Column: (Column on whose value you want to set the highlight)
2) Operator: (use appropriate operator)
3) Expression: (Value on which the highlight should appear)

the host and port depends on your network setup of your VM.
Do an ifconfig -a and see what IP adress your guest has.
With this IP address you should be able to access EM from outside your VM (but on the VM host, not from outside the network) with the same port.

JavaScript for Automation Cannot Use Scripting Addition Commands

Attempting to recreate the example script for Messages called "Speak Events" with the new JavaScript for Automation in Yosemite, I found that it is impossible to use any scripting addition commands. For example:

It is a big SDK and to learn its features requires a lot of reading. But to start with I guess I should start with "Introduction to SDK".
Since you want to control Acrobat from another application you should consider this under "Interapplication communication". You will be using OLE/COM.

I don't see why you would do that, and what purpose it would serve.
Windows could access the drive of your Mini if you set it in Target Disk Mode,and connect the two machines with a FireWire cable. But Windows can't even see Mac formatted drives without a 3rd party software like MacDrive, so you would need to get that.
Also, a good chunk of the space on the Windows laptop is already taken by Windows and what ever software and files you have on it.
Backups take a lot of space and would fill the free space quickly.
All you need to backup your Mini is an external drive and Time Machine.
The larger the drive the better.
