Dose any one know how to make a game simular to runescape?

what i am talking about is i want to make a agme for my website.
i want it to be a mulity user game where charators can interact with another. So dose anyone have any videos i can whats like a tortorial to make one or any info.

I dont know how to make a game like runescape, but to be quite honest it was runescape that got me starting. In april last year I toke the Java tutorial with the aim to create an online multiplayer role playing game. When I was done with the tutorial I posted some messages i gamecreation forums around to try and find a designer to work with. Around august last year I found him and we had a conversation about how to do it. He told me about opengl, animation techniques and alot of other stuff that day. Stuff I didnt understod the first thing about. But he told me to read up on it since it was good stuff to know if you want to make a good game.
I toke some tutorials at NeHe's openGL site. They are not the best I have seen but they taught me the basics. after that I did something cracy. I tried to find out how to make skeletal animation work so we could use my designers skeletal animated 3d models. I wrote a parser and 3 month later I understod and implemented skeletalanimation into the engine. Btw. I use something called JOGL to access OpenGL from Java. Next step was to implement tweening, kamera and thats where I am now.
I toke a loan im my appartment to give me untill feb. 2007 to finish something and Im working everyday on this project. Good thing is that my designer is just as devouted and has also made arrangements so he doesnt have to work for a while. Now he can use all his time rigging, animating and making textures for characters, monsters, the world and so on.
Its looking good so far and I havent lost my motivation and lust yet, but there is a long way to a finished game.
I still have to learn about collision detection, culling, octrees, networking and a billion other issues but I enjoy leaning and working with it.
When thats done there will be gameplay, AI, a balanced economy system and so on to develope.
Its a long journey, but if all this dont hit you in the stomach and if you think you have the mental stamina for it, I would say go for it. If you succeed, good for you. If not, you gave it a shot!

Thanks, but, using the "free" version of Reader, there is no opportunity to open nor import the xml data - the menu options do not exist - there is no import listed.
If we try to open the xml file directly, then we get an error - something to the effect of "unsupported file type, or the file is corrupted".
I just noticed in my Pro version that there is the command File ->Form Data ->Import Data to Form... command. Is this what you are referring to?
What do you recommend? Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to purchase a few copies of Acrobat Pro for the reservations people to use? I was hoping that the free version of reader would do it, but perhaps not?

Dose any one know how to set the MMS in the Belle?

Hi Nokia and all,
After updated to the Belle for my N8, the MMS a access point setting is missing. As I remember in Anna version, the MMS access point setting can be find in this way, menu -> Setting -> connectivity -> Settings -> Network destinations -> MMS. In there you can set the IP of the MMS etc.
Dose any one know how to set the MMS in the Belle, please let me know as soon as possible, thanks a lot!

I have a new intel imac 20" and have ntl cable modem on a belkin wireless network. I have tryed geting my friend to use aim triton that dose not work I have tryed using msn for mac that dose not work I have tryed aol for mac that dose not work I called tec support and they said to open ports that still did not work I have tryed turning my firewall off still no joy.
I can hold a audio conversation through ichat if my friend uses trillion to log into a aim acount and he calls me I can't call him it just say your buddy declined but the invite never gets as far as him.

I am 12 years old and i need to know how to make a game... i'm very good with computers and i just need to know how to make a game.. like runescape.

you should start with something little, first try do make a rectangle on screen, then try to make it move.
if you're past that, then you're allmost there.
of course, eventually during making a game like runescape you would need lot's of knowledge about data structures and matm and physics and whatever is also needed in order to cread 3D universe.
but with little practice you get to be master.

Is there any one knows how to use labview 6.0 to make a "continue" function like the one in C language?

I am using labview 6.0 and i like to know is there any one knows how to stop the current iteration in while loop or for loop and continue to do the next iteration,just like the "continue" statement in C or C++ language?

Simple test here in LV6 confims that you can't do this. Not in a useful
sense anyway. "Stop" doesn't stop execution simply of the current VI, it
also kills all VIs above it. It would hence be difficult to argue that this
approach is in any way similar to "continue".
What version of Labview have you tested this on and can you post a
demonstration?

Sounds like you need a new battery. I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store to confirm. Apple will replace the battery for $79. A third-party place like the folloing may be less expensive. Google for more places.

Hi Atul,
we have made a application which uses Oneworld. We didn't use the database connectivity tool because we used ODBC and SQL.
We have some VIs to do database connectivity using ODBC functions. So you have to know SQL as language and the ODBC functions. If you do not have this knowledge the database connectivity toolkit will make it easier for you.

Good question - and one that a lot of (business) people would like solved!
Your question prompted me to do some research, and I found this workaround posted by Scott Grossberg:
His solution actually addresses a second problem too - how to attach a document when replying to an email message. In your case you may not need to consider the "reply" aspect - but if not right now, it'll come in useful someday!
I've pasted it verbatim - if it works for you (it does for me) then all credit goes to Scott for solving the problem. There's just one thing I'd add to his solution: you will probably want to rename the message, as by default Goodreader gives it the Subject line: Mail with GoodReader attachments.
THE GOODREADER OPTION
1. CREATE the document you want to send.
2. SAVE it to GoodReader (this will require you to buy and install the app).
3. Go to your email and OPEN the email thread to which you want to Reply and attach your file.
4. COMPOSE your Reply.
5. DOUBLE TAP the message.
6. TAP SELECT ALL. This will copy the entire email thread.
7. OPEN GOODREADER on the iPad and go to the file you want to send as part of your Reply.
8. At the bottom of the GoodReader screen you will see an EXPORT icon (it looks like a rectangle with an arrow pointing to the right).
9. TAP the Export button.
10. TAP EMAIL FILE. Depending on your needs, tap either SEND FILE “AS IS” or “FLATTEN ANNOTATIONS.” This will open a compose message screen with the chosen document already attached.
11. TAP in the body of the email screen. TAP PASTE. This will place your composed Reply and the prior email thread into the message.
12. ENTER the Recipients’ names in the TO: field of your message.
13. SEND your email Reply.
The modified version (= when composing a new message rather than a reply):
1 Make sure that the doc you want to attach is saved in GoodReader
2 In the message you are composing, double tap, select all, and then copy.
3 Open GoodReader and select the file you want to attach
4 Select the export button at the bottom of screen
5 Select e-mail file
6 Position cursor in body of the email message, tap and paste. You may want to delete the "sent from GoodReader" text that precedes the attachment.
7 Rename your message (as by default it will be Mail with GoodReader attachments)
8 Add the recipient's address in the To field.

Does any one know how to fix this? My adobe Acrobat 10.1.12 opens and then crashes after about 5 seconds. Just upgraded to Yosemite.

I downloaded Yosemite and I use CS5.5. after much wrangling with Java I can now open photoshop, illustrator and indesign.
However acrobat 10.1.12 as soon as I open a document it crashes 5 seconds later. Any one know how to fix this?

To define whether a field is hidden or displayed, or whether an entry is mandatory or optional in material master maintenance, you must assign the field to a field selection group. You may assign a field to one field selection group only.
Before including customer-defined fields in a field selection group together with standard fields, or assigning standard fields to a different field selection group, familiarize yourself with the assignment of fields to field selection groups in the standard R/3 System.
Standard settings
The values of the field selection groups have been preassigned as follows:
001-110 Material master for industry
111-120 Reserved for customers (except where the values are already in use)
121-150 Material master for industry
151-210 Material master for retail
211-240 Reserved for customers
Recommendation
If possible, use the setting in the standard R/3 System. No further action is then required. If you want to make individual fields inaccessible, the easiest way is to group them together in a single field selection group and to set it to Display or Hide.
