Dots (events) for every single day in calendar (NEW issue)

Ever since I upgraded to FW 2.0 I have had "dots" appear in every single day of the calendar (symbolizing events) even though I have no events for those days.
Now - I KNOW about the issue with the recurring/repeating events as well as events that "begin" after they "end." That said, I have checked EVERY single event I have in the phone and in the calendar in Outlook and NONE of the events are repeating/recurring and all of them are set up properly with correct start/end times.
From my searching, the above seems to be what's commonly known to cause this problem. Those don't fit MY problem.
The odd thing here is, if I go backward in the month view on the calendar on the phone to February, there are no dots. There are also no events. However, if I go to March on the month view in the calendar, every single day has dots (and continues). The really weird thing here is if you look at the calendar in the month view while it's on March, you can see the last week of February at the top. And in that last week, while in the "March" view, the last week of February ALL has dots. But again, if you move back to "February," all those dots that were there disappear.
So...I'm at a loss now. I've wiped the events off the phone. Edited/pruned/etc. events in the Outlook calendar, and then re-synced with the order to overwrite that which is on the phone. Still no luck. Is this a glitch that needs to be corrected with new FW? Would a restore help? I just don't really know anymore..
Thanks,
John

I am having the same issue. However, I am syncing my calendar to my work computer and the issue presented itself when I upgraded to Office 2007 from 2003. I have since removed Office '07 and did a restore to my iphone which cleared the issue. Then did a sync again to Office 2003 and the issue re-appeared. Not sure if '07 added something to my calendar that is hidden but it is very frustrating.

  • Can i set a repeating event for every 5 days?

Can a repeating event be set on the iPhone 5S running IOS 7.0x for an interval of less than a week but more than a day?

    ■ Easiest method, if you allow firefox to tabs you used then on restarting I believe it also retains the zoom settings
    * '''Tools -> Options -> General -> Startup = use current pages'''
    ■ There are also extensions that can be used, some allow individual sites to have individual settings. Look at the [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/772884 this thread] which also discusses related matters.
    ■ The best method if you need the same effest accross all sites is probably changing one of the preferences within the config files, it is discussed in the above linked thread and also in this MozzillaZine article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Layout.css.dpi

  • How do I set a recurring event for the last day of the month on iphone 4s calendar?

I want to set a recurring event for the last day of every month - regardless of the date/number of days in the month. I'd prefer not to have to use an app to do this.

    Hi,
You can do this using the custom repeat in iCal. You'll need two events to cover the second and fourth Mondays.
Create the event on the second Monday of the month. In Repeat select Custom... > Frequency: Monthly > On the: second Monday.
Do the same for the Fourth Monday.
    Best wishes

  • Getting Z68A-GD80 (G3) to wake up every single day...

    all,
is there a way to get my PC to boot every single day? I used to be able to do it with a gigabyte mobo, but I don't see the option in my Z68A-GD80 (G3) bios menu (there is RTC alarm, but that seems to be restricted to once a month).
    so, is it possible?
if not, how can i configure a wake-up event via win7 x64 (as "OS" seems to be an option in the bios for wake-up events?)
    any help much appreciated.

In the UEFI/BIOS, be sure to disable EuP 2013 (C1E might be the other one to disable along with it).
    Added: Also disable Spread Spectrum.

  • Is there a way to setup a repeating event for every 5th Sunday?

I want to have a repeating event for every 5th Saturday, or 5th Sunday. Is there a way of doing that. I only see options for the first, second, third, forth, or last.

Click get into on the event you have created, click repeat, and then custom. You can then choose "weekly" every (5) weeks and which day of the week to repeat it on.

  • Gets so slow that I have to pull the battery every single day!

I have had this issue from day 1 and is driving me crazy. Have to pull out the battery every single day just to be able to free the memory and so that it can run at a descent speed.
After taking out the battery, putting it back again and then switching the phone back on I will have a look in the application storage memory which will start at about 120mb. Over the next few minutes or hours the storage memory will get less and less till is sit with about 0 - 20 mb of storage memory. The device will then stop responding then eventually just hanging until I pull the battery then need to follow the process all over again.
I have up[dated the firmware and restored the phone back to defaults several times with no luck.
I do not install software on this phone. The only apps I install is watchstrap, twitter and Thelma navigator.
I have a 2gig memory card in the phone a swell.
I got to stop myself from throwing this piece of junk against the wall. Cannot wait for my contract to end so I can go for Samsung or android!! Unfortunately I got to wait still over a year. SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Hi and thank you for the advice.
I have installed the Blackberry Virtual Expert but does not have an option to see whats eating my memory. The only optioins it gives me is to do  Display tests, Keypad tests, Audio tests and choose test, So i don;t think this software is going help me  A few minutes my Application storage was sitting on 0.00MB and slowing dow and thinking now my memory has gone back up to 16.3MB then back up to 33.7MB.  Its my lucky day but will have to do a battery pull probably laer again.  Just to confirm all the software installed is..
    Telmap navigtor
    Screen Grabber
    Whatsup app
    Facebook app
    Twitter
    Blackberry Virtual Expert.
I think what i have to maybe do is to do another factory reset on the phone and install nothing on it. Monitor for a few days and then install one application. Monitor for a few days and so on. It's all i can think of. Thank you for the help anyways

  • Every single day.

I'm using a BEFW111s4 wireless router, and every single day at right around 4 PM, my wireless connection just stops working. It will work again if I reset my router, but it will go off again within 10 minutes. This entire cycle will repeat itself until around 7PM. Why does this happen?
It's not related to the other two people in the house using the router, because it will even do it when I am the only person online. I've tried multiple "fixes" but nothing works. Any ideas?

I think you can try to reset and reconfigure the wireless router .
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds .
Release the reset button and power cycle the router and modem .
Connect a computer with the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the router .
Open the setup page of your router .
Configure the wireless settings on your router .
Give a new wireless network name and Save the settings ,
Connect your wireless computer with the new wireless network name .
Check if the connection still dropping .

  • How do you change the pink highlight for the present day in calendar when in week view

How do you change the pink highlight for the present day in calendar when in week view - OSX Maverick

the current day was light blue in ical in 10.6 but with plenty of contrast, but I recently made the bigger leap all the way to calendar in 10.9. the choice of color is terrible for reasons such as Spile1962 puts below, but also not having any way to tweak it is terrible. I'm on a bran d new imac and can barely see a difference and frankly, while I appreciate the subtlety, I still forget to look for the darker bar across the top of the current week and day. we should be able to adjust weekend and current day bg colors.
I went into the app's package contents in hopes that they were using a tiff/png file that I could tweak on my own but couldn't find anything for them. all the icons are there, as are the bg sets for all the little pop-ups and things, but I couldn't even find a reference to a hex color in the plist file.
send apple feedback. I just did myself, except that Calendar hasn't made the list (yet?), only iCal up to version 4.x, and Messages is still only iChat for feedback, and some others are old as well. apparently after steve died, apple's attention to these details just died with him. it's been that long since those other apps should have been relevant on their site.

  • Mouse over event for every word inside a text?

I want to do a separate mouse over event for every word inside a text.
or at least get the string below the mouse cursor.
    any hint?
    henry

There are no events for it but you can use TextField.getCharIndexAtPoint() to determine the character where the mouse is over, and from there you can work out the word where the mouse is over.

  • "user password expiration" for every 30 days for the NW2004S systems

    Dear all,
We are using NW2004s with BI and DI,EP. We set the parameter "user password expiration" for every 30 days for the NW2004S systems(dual stack).
In  the system  users SAPJSF,NWDI_CMSADM,J2EE_ADMIN,NWDI_ADM, ADMINITRATOR is also getting change once in every month(30 days),So that we need to change the password and it should get update in the visual admin and config tools. Some time this arising problem. Is there any way to avoid the password expire for this particular user in the system .
Note :Password expire parameter should keep compulsory  in the system
So Please guide us to resolve those problem.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Lakshminarayanan M

    Hi!
I don't suggest you to change J2EE_ADMIN password. instead you should logon with your user.
Anyway.... please find below a small program to control passwords validity. for some users is very usefull.
    REPORT  ZS_ALTERA_DATA_PASS                     .
    tables:usr02.
    select-options : s_users for usr02-bname.
    parameter:       p_data  like usr02-bcda1 default sy-datum.
    update usr02 set bcda1 = p_data
                 where bname in s_users.
    if sy-subrc eq 0.
MESSAGE 'Password validity changed' type 'S'.
    else.
MESSAGE 'ERROR changing password validity' type 'E'.
    endif.
    cheers

  • How can I block a number that calls me persistently every single day but only shows 3458  it does not show the full 10 digit

how can I block a number that calls me persistently every single day but only shows 3458  it does not show the full 10 digit so on your block page will not let me block it!!!  So frustrated and I am not answering it with all the hackers out these days I don't want to give them access to my phone.

        @lottsandy
I can understand your frustrations and concerns with receiving these unknown calls!  I would love to assist you with preventing these types of calls.
Sounds as though you're receiving some type of telemarketing call.  Although you're unable to add the shorter numbers to your call block list, you can definitely add your number to the National Do Not Call registry http://1.usa.gov/1whONxp.  I hope this will help prevent those unwanted calls.  Thanks!

  • Can't seem to customize repeat event for every Tu & Thu with OS 10.9.2 and iCal 7.0

Used to be able to customize events in previous versions of iCal.  Now, trying to customize event for every Tue & Thu and even when I click "customize" on repeat event, only options are "daily, weekly, monthly, etc"  - not really flexible.
Have tried removing p-list and restarting iCal and computer but no improvement.
Currently using OS 10.9.2 with iCal 7.0.
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Thanks,

    MJ,
Where are you clicking on "customize?" Are you using the iPhone?
This is what I am presented with when choosing "repeat" on my iMac:

  • 4.7GB Backup every single day?

What's up with a daily 4.7GB backup? I check some email, hack some PHP code, and that's about it. 4.7GB seems like serious overkill every single day.

    There are several possibilities.
You could move it to your TM drive, preferably in a separate partition.
You could exclude it from TM.
You could exclude it from TM but periodically copy it to a file that isn't excluded and would be backed-up. You could even automate this, with an AppleScript or Automator function, scheduled to run daily, or weekly, or whenever is appropriate.
