Double clicked on iTunesSetup.exe, and nothing happens!

That's it. I double clicked on iTunesSetup.exe, and absolutely nothing happens. I checked Task Manager, and it seems that iTunesSetup.exe executes for a brief second or two, then exits.
I checked my Local Settings\Temp folder, and there is a iTunes.exe file in there. I double clicked on it, and it says something like this is not a valid Windows application or something, please contact the vendor.
Please Help! I cannot even start the iTunes installer...

that one may have gotten corrupted during the download. try emptying your TEMP directory, deleting that installer file, and downloading a fresh one. does the new one work any better?

The content of the Share menu will depend on the file format. For PDFs the menu will be nearly empty and iPhoto and aperture are missing.

I was using gimp fine for years with my osx 10 6 8 up until yesterday. Last night when I downloaded yosemite, gimp has not been working ever since. I clicked on the icon and it said that x11 wasn't compatible with yosemite and lead me to a link from apple support which said that I need to download xquartz for gimp to work.

I clicked on it again the next day and nothing pops up. I don't know how to set up any accounts because no window pops up or anything.

It is possible when starting ichat for the First time to Click through the Start Up Screens and not enter any info. (no Accounts).
When you restart iChat it has no Accounts and therefore no Buddy Lists to Display and "Nothing" appears to be the result.
However the Menu Bar should show (until you click the Screen or another icon in the Dock) iChat in the Menu Bar.
If this is the case, click on the word iChat (Menu will drop)
Chose Preferences then Accounts.
You can then set up Accounts (Screen Names by pressing the + button at the bottom of the Left hand side (which should always List Bonjour whether you use it or not).

I install iCloud on PC Windows 7. Click on ICloud icon and nothing happens. ¿any idea?

My workplace computer is a PC.
I need to run iCloud on PC por sync contacts, email, etc.
I have intall iCloud an try to launch it. Any time I click on iCloud icon, it does nothing.

Sounds like you downloaded the OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 Update or Combo Update. Neither will work on a version of OS X prior to OS X Mavericks. If you have unsaved open pages you may loose them on a Firefox upgrade but you should not normally loose your bookmarks, unless for instance you do a new install and take one of the options that deletes personal information.
I suggest as a precaution you back up your Firefox profile. This is something that is easier to do whilst Firefox is able to run; and it is good practice to do this periodically anyway; but it can still be done even when Firefox is not able to be run.

* put the backup files and folders somewhere safe, where they may be found easily, but outside the Firefox program or profile paths. (Your Windows 7 Desktop is a suitable location).

Firefox not starting after an upgrade is often caused by firewalls or security programs either not recognising the new Firefox as being safe, or else blocking or even reversing changes made to your system and browser.
Have a look at your security software and the security settings.

Going by your profile your Mac has v10.5.8 installed. That is the most recent version available for Leopard.
You may be able to upgrade to v10.6 Snow Leopard > Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard - Technical Specifications
Snow Leopard is available for purchase from the Apple online store > Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.)
With Snow Leopard installed, iTunes would be updated for you.

I can no longer attach files in Yahoo mail since upgrading to FireFox 4.0.1. I click the "attach" button and nothing happens - no file list to select from appears; nothing.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4.0.1 the "attach files" function in my Yahoo Mail account no longer functions. When I click the "attach files" button nothing happens - nothing. No file selection box opens, no error message appears, no pinwheel of death, nothing.
The "attach files" button is no longer 'hot' in FF 4.0.1 either = the "little hand" icon does not appear when I scroll over it. Other action buttons are still 'hot' ("attachments", "emoticons", "format", "hide bcc"etc.) - just not the "attach files" button.
The Yahoo Mail "attach files" function still works when I use my Safari browser, however. So, it appears to be a FF4.0.1 issue.

Team Planner not working. Click on Team Planner and nothing happens.

I have Project Professional 2010 and using with Project Server 2010. When I go the the View ribbon and click on Team Planner, nothing happens. Is this a view or a piece of functionality? I looked in Organizer and also do not see any view named Team Planner.
Not sure why this is not working. Anyone know nwhat the issue may be and how to get Team PLanner working?

Navigate to the Task ribbon and then click the Gantt Chart pick list button (little down-arrow below the Gantt Chart button). Examine the list of Views shown on the pick list. Do you see the Team Planner view listed? If not, click the More
Views item. In the Organizer dialog, do you see the Team Planner view listed in the left side of the dialog? If the answer is NO to both questions, then I would suspect that someone has intentionally deleted this new default View from your Microsoft
Project 2010, and you will probably need to reinstall the software to get it back. By default, the Team Planner view should be available to you in Microsoft Project 2010. Let us know if this helps.

I click on Firefox "preferences" and nothing happens--no drop down, no nothing. What should I do?

I'm using a Mac Book Pro. I had a yahoo homepage but it "disappeared." Now when I click on Firefox and then "preferences," nothing happens. I can't click on anything else to re-set a homepage. I can see NO preferences at all. Did something, somehow "lock up?" I have also tried to click on the keyboard twirly symbol and the comma (the symbols show to the right of the word "PREFERENCES"--still nothing. Help!

How do you open Preview? I see it in Finder and click on it, then I see it in the dock and click on it. I go to file open and click. Nothing happens.

Quit Preview.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Remove the following.
Containers/com.apple.Preview
Preferences/com.apple.Preview.LSSharedFileList.plist
Preferences/com.apple.Preview.SandboxedPersistentURLs.LSSharedFileList.plist
Saved Application State/com.apple.Preview.savedState

Hotmail loads and i can see my inbox and messages, but when i click on a message nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix?

I was using safari when the problem happened. I then downloaded the new 4 beta and the same thing still happens.
