Double Data Deal

So Verizon is rolling out a double data deal starting today.  Pay for 2gb and you actually get 4gb for the same price.  Pay for 5gb and you get 10, etc... This is for new and existing customers, but there's a catch.  It is for 4G phones only.  I just signed up for a new two year agreement in order to get the new iPhone 4s, but alas... it is only 3G. So how upset do you think I am paying the same amount for data as a 4G phone owner, but only getting half as much data?  Pretty upset.

Kind of missed the point there bud... there is no difference between a customer paying for data for a 4G phone or a customer paying for data for a 3G phone.  We're both customers paying for the same data plan, but they've chosen to discriminate against a large group of those customers based on their phone preference.
there is a diff
iirc 4g users can also get unlimted hotspot for $30 a month under a promo
its called a promotion
its used to sell things
verizon has them all the time
heck at one point you got free hotspot on a palm device, just to sell them

Bt may be I should be more clear with my reqmts.
In the image attached the data to be plotted is stored in Excel from LabVIEW.
And the graph is plotted in Excel selecting the data.
    Plotting of graph is maual.
I want that the graph plotting should be automatic.
In RGT der's a function Excel Plot Graph bt the problem is dat it takes only 2d double array as I mentioned earlier.

  • Why are MORE EVERY Canada/Mexico plans not included in Double data promo?

Very frustrated that i cant take advantage of the double data promo for my family plan because I pay extra to be able to call out of country. I currently have the "More Every Canada/mexico 14Gb" plan and really wanted the 30gb option being offered,

Extremely disappointed with customer service. I spoke with a Chat representative and messed up my acct by changing it to a plan that is completely different, What is irritating is that I even confirmed the Plan/cost/promo that we talked about and she confirmed it effective for begging of next billing cycle. She stated it was approved by her supervisor. I log into my acct and a completely different change was made effective immediately(can/mex 20gb for $30 more than what I currently pay.. Now i have to call back next month to ask for difference of my actual plan cost and the random one I was put on. I can understand Verizon not letting those plans participate in a promo, but the time i wasted and will have to waste because of a chat representative is just unacceptable. CS response was just to cal back and ask for a credit.... great!

  • Error ORA-01426: numeric overflow when Creating table with double data type

    Hi,
I am using ODP.NET to create a table with data from SQL to Oracle. The problem is with double data type fields that is equivalent to FLOAT(49) in Oracle. My syntax is:
    CREATE TABLE SCOTT.ALLTYPES
    F1 NUMBER(10),
    F10 DATE,
    F2 NUMBER(10),
    F3 NUMBER(5),
    F4 NUMBER(3),

    F6 FLOAT(49),
    F7 NUMBER (38,5),
    F8 NVARCHAR2(500),
    F9 NVARCHAR2(500)
Th error is with field F6 but I am not sure what is the correct type equivalent to double in SQL.
I woul appreciate if anyone can help me with this problem.

  • Will i lose my double data 4 gig for price of 2 gig if i renew/upgrade plan and phone?

i currently have a plan expiring in a week and would like to purchase an upgrade 4g phone from amazon but i have double data, 4 gig for 2 gig 30$ on my plan and dont want to lose this special..... will i lose my 4 gig data for 30$ if i renew and upgrade a phone purchased through amazon b/c its been like 50/50 in what ive been told from verizon reps thus far

Great questions afterhrsd! When you upgrade to a new phone at a subsidized price with a new 2 year contract you must select a plan from the ones http://bit.ly/T8w8iM currently available. You can keep your calling/data plan unchanged if you upgrade at full retail price. You may even qualify for our Device Payment Program http://vz.to/ZILXBT to upgrade at full price without a big upfront expense.

  • How to display dynamic datas and double datas (chart)

    Hi all !
I would like to display dynamic datas and double datas by using charts.
However, it doesn't work and I don't understand why.
Can you help me to fix that ?
    Best regards,

    Hi John,
the sine looks like it should look with your VI!
You convert the DDT to a scalar DBL. That conversion will only use the first sample of the generated sine waveform - usually this is always the same (offset) value when you generate full periods… Or to put it in a mathematical expression: sin(0°)+4 = 4!
When you want to display waveform you should work with waveforms!
Actually, I have used Dynamic data type in order to simulate an signal.
Well, I also simulated a signal in my example VI. I didn't use any ExpressVI to do so…
In a few weeks, I will receive a sensor. I will use in LabView 'DAQ Assistant' whose the ouput is a Dynamic Data.
Nobody forces you to use the DAQAssistent ExpressVI. There are nice DAQmx functions available and LabVIEW comes with a lot of ready-to-use example VIs…
That's why, I used in first place, the 'Simulate signal'. So I think I should keep Dynamic Data Type
I do think you don't need to use the DDT. I think it's better to understand what is going on in your VI. And I think the DDT will be no help for you…

  • Its a blame - deleting instead of double dates in calendar synchronizing

I am should after installation my new torch 9860 and removing the former storm2 (3 time replacement because of bad quality) that the following happen yesterday:
I had dates from my business 3 years back in my outlook.
Did not keep the paperversion because all worked well with electronic calendar+bb-synchronizing.
With the new 7.0 synchronizing they do automaticly search my OUTLOOK for inconsistent dates.
Or, at least what these... Think must be inconsistent.
This f***ing software finds all my older dates "inconsitent" with the not-existing on the new torch.
during installation I said"keep the older ones" so why it shall look at it again?
OK, and I said not "delete them" but "put double dates in".
    What does this softeware do?
It offers all to delete and after not lokking 100times or thinking "ok, it is a mistype because I want coexisting double dates of the inconsistencys" I did one OK-click to much and it deleted the old ones.
    700 all  old businesscalendar: gone!
No security-copy in outlook- nothing. Just deleting.
Simply because these perfect promgramm workers think they can do things like god and delete old things instead olf letting old stay as wished?
    It is a shame.
I have used bb für 3 years now, have the playbook 64GB and defended bb against all my friend with there Ipnones or Androids.
And now I get the bill.
and then: no servicedesk, nothing to find under the lots of thousend sale-links.
That is not businesslike service. it is just poor and sad.

thanks for responding. its actually alonger stiry than that, i had inherited an old powerbook, there were tow accounts on it, somehow when i opned i photo on that machine, it brought in all the images. i then got a new powerbook, migrated the account and all them photos followed over. i recnetly did a clean install of osx11, so as to try to clear up the mess, i did a back up opf all my files and then copied them over one set at a time, when i did iphoto all the images came over. they are a mess. it is only iphotos, not photos from all over my machine/s. photos originally downloaded form my camera, no where else. i just have zillions of copies of single images and the extra irritating thing is that even the thumbs are now showing as images in the library. its photos going back to 2001, my kids growing up and stuff, i cant just delete thems.

  • Getting double[] data

I'm using the spatial extensions in 8.1.6, and the geometry data type is a struct that
includes an array of integers (elem_info), and an array of doubles (ordinates), but when
I call getArray, I always get back an array
of BigDecimal. Since BigDecimal is very heavyweigth compared to double, I'd like to be able to get the array as double[]. I can reliably create these object using double[] data. Any way to get it in this form?

    Hi,
Please make sure while selecting the key figures for your Multiprovider, you have selected only one key figures.
ie. you have just ticked one checkbox for all the key figure infoobject.
I hope you knw that INFOSET results in intersection operation and MULTIPROVIDER in UNION operation.
So if you have 4 Infoset in the MULTIPROVIDER then it will do the UNION of all the result of the infoset.
So my point is you must select only required characterisitcs, dont tick all the check box or dont click on propose all button if you are in BI7 environment.

  • Will my double data (4gb_30$) continue if i upgrade to iphone5?

i have a thunderbolt since nov. 2011 and got a double data plan that give 4 gb for $30...if i want to upgrade to iphone will i keep the plan i have or will i be forced to change it?
    thans for the feedback

Yep.  I have a quote saved somewhere...will look for it in the morning when not on mobile.
Found it.  I saw a few articles with this quote when the Double-the-Data promotion came out:
"Under the promotion, a new Verizon 4G subscriber would get 4 gigabytes for $30, 10 gigabytes for $50 and 20 gigabytes for $80. The plans are offered in the form of two-year contracts.  For those who sign-up for 4G service under the promotion, the doubled data allotment will remain with them as long as they have a 4G smartphone through Verizon, even when it comes time to upgrade to a new 4G phone or after the two-year contract has expired, Muche said" (Ken Muche, Verizon spokesman).
    http://articles.latimes.com/2012/feb/07/news/la-verizon-brings-back-double-data-promo-for-4g-phones-20120206
So to me, the second sentence says that when you upgrade, you lose the double-data since it's offered "in the form of two-year contracts".  However, that's contradicted by the last sentence, i.e., "…the doubled data allotment will remain with them as long as they have a 4G smartphone through Verizon, even when it comes time to upgrade to a new 4G phone or after the two-year contract has expired".  That, to me, basically says 'forever'.  I guess folks will find out for sure once they start upgrading.

  • Forefeit Free 4G LTE Double Data for Family Plan Upgrade?

I am currently on a Family Share plan with 4 total lines, two smartphones and two flip phones.  One smartphone currently has the unlimited data plan, and my own Droid Razr has 4GB data plan, which was doubled from 2GB for free as part of Verizon's extended promotion of 4G LTE devices.
One of the flip phone lines will soon be upgrading to a smartphone.  The Verizon store associate advised us that when this happens, our family plan will convert to the new structure.  Generally speaking,  for our situation, I find the new data plan structure attractive.  My sister makes no use of her unlimited data plan, and those other data hogs are what's driving up the costs of plans for more conservative users like us.  However, the associate also indicated that under the new plan, I'd be forfeiting the 2GB I currently receive for free.  I tend to use between 2-3 GB per cycle, so this is obviously a concern and going to cost us substantially more money under the new plan.  With our plan, I'll effectively be paying $120 more per year for data that I was told would be free.
Given that the double data promotion was a significant factor in my purchase decision, and that it's only be a few months since I renewed my contract under those terms, it seems unreasonable that this promotion isn't extended to the new plans.  Furthermore, the new plans are structured to offer data in 2GB increments, so it should not be difficult (as it would be with the unlimited plan) to simply add 2 free GB to our new family plan.
Was the store associate correct about this change?  If so, how is it fair to a longstanding customer to offer a bait-and-switch style promotion?  Is Verizon going to keep changing plan structures and ripping off customers lured in by assurances of free data?

in my opinion, he was incorrect. i "think" that you can upgrade the flip phone to a smartphone and that line would just select the individual tiered plan of $30 for 2 gigs. that is the way i understand it. of course, i could be wrong. the following is from there own website and i read as the current plans will still be available, and really, the only thing completely going away are the grandfathered, unlimited plans.
You're not required to move to Share Everything but if you do, unlimited data will not be retained on your line. As a Verizon Wireless customer you have choices when you upgrade at discounted pricing. You can choose from a standalone data package starting at $30 for 2GB or a Share Everything Plan. If keeping unlimited is important to you, you can choose to upgrade and pay full retail price for the phone.

    Hi experts
when we are loading the data from DSO to infocube by using DTP ,
the Problem is its updating double records in the infocube,  with  same record and the key figure values zero .
in the transformations we don't have any start routine, end routine  ..
Please could any  tell me how to overcome from this
    thanks

    Hi Fredrik,
not all settings in infopackages work in chains in the same way they do while running the package manually. Mostly you can check that with pressing F1 on the setting. In your case, you need to add a process type for deleting the data to the chain. In your chain maintenance, look at process types and then in load processes .... There you will find the type you need.
    kind regards
    Siggi
