Double directory?

Hi, I created an iPhone directory in my pc with a few photos that I have sync with my iPhone. I then used these photos as avatars for some of my contacts. So for so good. Now when I select "photo albums" inside iPhone I have two directories: Photo Library and Photo iPhone (that is the name of the directory in my pc) which share exactly the same pictures. Is there a way to eliminate either (or both) of them, it seems a waste of space.

All photos transferred to the iPhone from your computer are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library regardless how many photo albums you transfer to the iPhone but the photos are not duplicated.
There is no way to remove the Photo Library. The Photo Library is a copy of all pictures you have synced onto the phone. If you only have one album synced, then it will be an exact copy. If you have multiple albums synced, it will have a copy of all pictures in all albums. But again, they are not actual duplicates.

Xcode executable execution working directory on double-click

I have a fairly simple C++ code that I made with Xcode 3.1. It compiles fine and works if I run it from a terminal. But, if I double-click the executable, it launches and is looking for some supporting, local files at my "Macintosh HD" directory level instead of in the folder I launched it from (output files are also placed at that directory level). All file paths in the code are relative.
Is this a compilation issue or option that I can change in Xcode? How do I make it so I can also just double-click the executable?

Double clicking actually executes Terminal with root as current directory which then runs your C code. Change your code to look at the path in arg and use it to access the supporting files.

Double-clicking a Bash script and having it execute in it's directory

Hi. I'm having some trouble with a Bash script I've been working on.
The first command in the script is to copy all of the contents of the directory it's located in (including itself) to another folder.
The Bash command I'm using is:
cp -R . "/Some/Other/Folder/"
This works fine when I run the program from the Terminal. E.g.: ./testscript
But, I need this script to be double clickable in the Finder. I've associated it with Terminal, but when I double-click on it, instead of copying the files from the script's local folder, it starts recursively copying files from the home folder!
I think this is because when I double-click on the script, it starts a new Terminal window at the home folder, and the dot portion of "cp ." now refers to the home folder, instead of the directory containing the script.
Can anyone help me figure out how to be able to double click on the script to run it, yet have the script start in it's original folder?

I did have to add a / to "$myFolder/" in the second line, so that the contents of the folder was copied, not the folder itself.

Cannot load .dll files in another directory when double clicking on the .exe

Hi all,
I am currently using VS 2005. I have quite a few of .dll(s) that is currently residing in the same directory as the .exe
I want to put the .dll(s) in another directory and have the application point it to that directory so that it can load the .dll(s) from there.
I know that I am able to set the Environment path to my desired directory in project properties->debugging.
However, i also know that this is only applicable for debug mode and executing the app by pressing "F5" or the "play" button.
But when i double click on the app in the debug folder, it does not load the .dll(s) from the specified path.
How can I make the .dll(s) load from my specified path even when i double click on the .exe? in debug and release mode.

Double-clicking to select directory in JFileChooser

Hi, I have a JFileChooser that will not let the user descend the directory structure unless... get this, they double-click REAL fast. On the other hand, if the user selects the directory and then clicks "Open," that works fine i.e. the contents of that directory are displayed. They should also be able to double-click on the directory name, however, to do the same thing. Only by double-clicking really fast can they do so. I'm running Redhat 9 and have tried adjusting mouse click settings under Preferences but no luck. Additionally, I am only using the default behaviour for this widget, which is FILES_ONLY. Anyone else having this experience and/or know of a workaround? Thanks.

Oh, and one other thing: If the user double-clicks on the name of a file or directory, it allows the user to rename that file or directory. Any way to turn that off since this is just for a menu item "Open File" and I don't want them being to edit names. Thx!

I have firefox installed in the program files (x86) directory and nightly installed in the program files directory. When I double click on the nightly icon, firefox starts up. I have gone directly to the program folder with the same results.

What is the problem and how can I solve it?

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.
Back up all data.

Basis: No service for system , client in Integration Directory??

Hi All,
IDocs from SAP QA are not being sent to PI QA. I see error in SM58 in SAP QA as: No service for system , client in Integration Directory. Please dont jump to asnwers by looking at above error. I could fix that, but thats not the real problem.
Because I have checked
1) SLD home page ---> Technical Landscape --> Select Web AS ABAP --> Select the technical system --> Clients ---> Click on the client used as Business system --> Here look for the logical system is defined (No Problem here, as logical systems is defined).
2) ID---> Click on Objects --> Service Without party/Party > Double click on business system>On the tright side--> Service --> Adapter specific Identifiers ---> Check IDoc Adpater, Logical System (No Problem here as I see Logical System).
But I can't find values R/3 System ID and Client under "IDoc Adapter and RFC Adapter". I think thats problem here, when I click on "Compare with SLD" in edit mode, values are not getting populated into R/3 System ID and Client. It makes think there is communication error from ID to SLD. How I do confirm if its the real problem?
3) Checked Note 940313 - IDoc adapter: Error messages in SM58, No problem here
4) Did SLDCHECK from PI QA, works fine, no problems here
Both PI DEV and PI QA pointing to the same SLD. When I send IDocs from SAP QA to PI DEV, everything works fine. I can't send IDoc from SAP QA to PI DEV (changed RFC des to point to PI QA, it shouldn't be a problem).
How do I find out if communication between PI QA - ID is workign fine with the SLD? Is there any other issue you can think of causing the above error?

*I have trobleshooted a similar issue. In my case also the tRFC failed with the error "No service for system SAP, client 400 in Integration Directory".There were 11 IDOCS associated with this tRFC and when I saw control record of first IDOC,in sender information ,the sender partner number was wrong.Instead of "SAPSID",it was found as just "SAP".Where as the remaining ten were maintained with correct sender partner number.remaining ten IDOCS were dependant on first one.

Monetary value as double

I have to do a program which prompts for and reads a double value representing a monetary amount. It has to determine the fewest number of each bill and coin needed to represent that amount, starting with the highest (maximum size needed a ten dollar bill). So far, this is all I have for my code. But I am really having trouble on the calculation part I just don't know how to start. Thanks for your help.

How to create a smart folder that only selects from a specific directory?

I am trying to create a smart folder that lists all my iPhoto original content in the last few months. I want this so that my wife can connect into the smart folder over the LAN when copying specific photos to her PC.
I am have trouble working out how to restrict the search to only those files that exists in the iPhoto directory. When I look at info for a photo is states "Where: /Users/Shared/iPhoto Library/iPhoto Library/Data/2009/....etc etc".
However if I add an filter for "Where from" begins with "/Users/Shared/... etc etc" it returns nothing. Is there a way to do this?

Find the iPhoto library file.
Right click -> Show package contents.
Double click the Originals folder.
Type anything in the Search box at the top of the Finder window.
In the top of the Finder window, click "Originals".
Click the + (plus) sign next to Save.
Select Kind is Image.
Click the + (plus) sign again.
Select *Created date* is *within last 3 months* (or whatever you want).
Go to the search box and delete what you typed. Don't hit the X to delete the search text.
Now save the smart search.
This is saved in ~\Library\Saved searches. Copy or move it to the desktop where your wife can get access to it.

How to upload an image in a directory using PHP code generated by Dreamweaver?

Years and months later, apparently Dreamweaver CC 2014 has a "File" Form object that has a text box and Browse button. Now I'm looking for the part that does the actual upload (which is why I wound up here). I'm sure by now you have found a way to resolve your issue, but there it is....

Sharepoint 2013 - Active Directory Import User Profile Property manager fields

Hi there,
I juste encountered actually a little issue regarding the Active Directory Import User Profil.
Importation seems to work well but I have a little problem regarding the Manager field.
When I verify a user profil through the sharepoint admin page ("Manage user profil") , I can see the manager field is correctly populated, but if I want to check my profil as a user (personal information), the manager field is not visible.
With Sharepoint Admin and Manage Profil Properties, I haven't the possibility to modify some settings for the manager.
For example, Policy parameters is greyed.
The only way I found to show this field in a user profil is to give the permission "allow users to Edit values ...".... setting I don't want to set.
Have you already this sort of issue ?

I don't remember well what I did exactly regarding this issue because I played a lot with user profil.
I know I used this powershell script from Sheyia which in fact help me a lot to clean and create a good profil setting.

Open Directory Replica Over VPN

Hey All,
I've got two servers, one in the office running as our Open Directory Master and one that I've placed in a remote data centre as our new web/e-mail box that I'm hoping to make a OD Replica before I move these services out to it.
After a lot of blood/sweat/tears/coffee I was able to get it connected back to the office over site-to-site VPN with our Linksys RV082 in the office and using raccoon on the remote Tiger Server with the help of s2svpnadmin.
I've got DNS configured on both and can ping back and forth, resolve back and forth, the VPN tunnel is running quite beautifully as if they were right beside each other on the same switch.
The remote is on the 192.168.4.x subnet and our internal is on the local 192.168.1.x subnet. Really works well.
But...
When I try to make the remote box a replica of our OD Master things seem to go well, but shortly after it's done the initial 'replication' the remote box reverts back into standalone mode and I can't login to it using any directory users. (The local OD Master stays humming along just fine)

Basically it appears that the Directory Service doesn't like to talk over Tiger Server's own VPN implementation.
I tried replicating the issue on a remote client's Tiger xServe connecting to their SonicWall and I was able to replicate over to them just fine and it sticks, so it makes me think it's definitely something about the VPN service on Tiger Server.
This remote box is in a data centre so I want to avoid having to buy and install a dedicated hardware device to solve this problem if I can (not even sure if they'd let me). It seems silly that they wouldn't have tested this configuration as I have to expect that it would be a common one.
Any help or insight you could offer would be invaluable! Thanks!

The remote box has a public IP and then I've created an internal duplicate running at 192.168.4.1 with itself as the 'router/gateway'. This seems to work.
I can ping 'to' the remote box from the office side over the VPN tunnel by pinging '192.168.4.1'.
And from the remote box I can ping back to the office but only after I add a route:
route add -net 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.4.1
...on the remote machine.
After that I can get traffic back and forth. It seems to work perfectly.
I can connect using just about any service I want over the VPN, ex. AFP and things work as if the box was in the office, it's nice.
My OD Master on the local side is also my Primary DNS Server, the remote box doubles as a Secondary DNS Slave.
I use views in my DNS to handle both private and public traffic (we're a small business so getting the most out of our gear is important), I can ask both boxes about themselves in both public and private views and they respond correctly.

I update recently my OS to Yosemite and decided to use Safari again as my web browser (I was using Chrome). Some of the sites I need to access for professional reasons are not available with safari. I receive the message: "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.". I believe there is a pattern here, they are all sites publish with IIS with SSL and build with ASP.NET.
I can access them with Chrome (on OS X) or with Internet Explorer (with my Windows VMs).
I've already cleared all saved passwords, cookies, history, etc...the problem remains. I'm sure this is a known problem, but all the answers I've found on the internet were for things like DNS and unavailability of the site. The sites are working fine and I can access them with Chrome.
Can anybody help me? An explanation would also be nice :-) Something to do with Microsoft Authentication methods ?

How to go to different screen by Double Clicking a Tree Node

I have a tool where i have a top panel and a bottompanel. On the top panel, i add Tab buttons so that if anyone is clicked, it will repaint the bottom panel with corresponding Tab screen(New screen will come with the top panel remaining same). There are Actions, Conditions,Trees tabs on the main panel. There is also a Home Tab on the main panel which when clicked brings up a tree structure on the left hand side of the bottom panel which has some parent and child nodes depending on whether they are files or directories. There are folders(parent nodes) with names Trees & Conditions also related to the Tabs on the main panel under which i have some file names. I am including the method which creates the nodes. The problem is that when i double click any file(not a directory), it should take me to the screen which is actually populated when i select the Trees/Conditions tab and select the corresponding file name from the drop down provided in that screen and click a view button. So, it is something like adding an actionListener or SelectionListener. But, i am unable to do it. Can anyone suggest me how to do it?

Sorry, a small mistake. The "createNodes" method is in the "MainHomePanel" class.
