Double E-Mails

I am receiving all of my emails in doubles. Is there anyone else having this issue?

For whatever it's worth, I am also having instances where I get double e-mails. It only happens on my pop mail accounts through comcast and through work.
No double e-mail for my .me account.
I am already on my second phone, and it has shown up on both.
Hopefully, this is a software issue.

Double push mail notifications

Hallo, I am only able to receive gmail-mail notifications if I select both 'Inbox' (default) and 'All Mail'. But now I am receiving two notifications for every mail. Any tips? Just to make sure, I don't revieve any notifications is I do not select 'All Mail'.

I think I found the answer on here. I went to SETTINGS > MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDAR > MAIL (the actual name of the account with the double alerts) > MAIL FOLDERS TO PUSH > Then I selected INBOX and SENT ITEMS only!!
I tested it by sending an email from an account not synced on my iPhone and only ONE ALERT came through!! OMGoodness - so much less annoying!!

Mail sending double e-mails?

I've just noticed that when I send an e-mail, the progress bar show double ie, if I'm sending 1 email it says 'sending 2 of 2'. Does anybody know why?

I have the same issue. Not with all e-mail but most. I host all my own e-mail accounts on my own popserver.
I have scanned for trojans.
Have not heard from anyone that they get my e-mails twice.
If anyone knows what this is about, please let us know.

Receiving Double E-mails?

Anyone have ideas why I would be getting two copies of every e-mail that I receive on my I-Phone 4. I have been running the most current OS since it became available, but this email thing is a new development. I have not made any configuration changes? I have had a gmail account and a hotmail account set up for years - through all the different versions of I-phone. This has got to be some setting right? I have the Bcc myself function off. This happens when I receive mail in both accounts. Any help is appreciated!

If you are using a POP account, try going to the Accounts Preferences and on the Advanced tab tick the box that says:
"Remove copy from server after retrieving a message"
Then select "Right Away" from the drop-down menu.
I'd be curious to know if that helps.

Automatic deletion of doubled e-mail entries?

I've got a laptop running now, along with the tower, and I'm getting two copies of a lot of my e-mail.
Is there a way to do an automated deletion of all the repeat copies?

Subscription sends double e-mails

Hi all, SAP,
We have a portal user that is subscribed to a discussion.
We don't know exactly what he did, but somehow he managed to end up in a situation where he receives 2 identical mails for this subscription, and for each change that is made to the discussion to which he subscribed.
I already tried to use the "delete subscription" report for this user (Content Administration -> KM Content -> Toolbox -> User level reports), but this didn't solve the problem.
When the user re-creates a subscription on the same disucussion, again, he receives 2 identical mails for each change.
It appears that there is a corruption on the metadata / Database level. (note: we are working in DBFS mode).
Please can someone suggest possible solutions for the problem?
Can anyone tell me how to access the subscription metadata on a lower database / metadata level so I might be able to fix the corrupted subscription manually?

Navigate to: "Systemadmin - Systemconfig - Content Management -Global Service - System Landscape Service and mark the Cluster Installation box.

Double E-mails, sometimes....

I have my Mail app open on my computer & I'm using mail on my phone. They are only suppose to go to the Mail app on my computer until I close it out. But some e-mails, not all, are still being caught in my Me account and placed on my phone AND forwarded to my Gmail account. What's weird is it only happens with some e-mails, not all. I want my e-mail to go all to my Gmail and archive in other mailboxes, not get those emails in all accounts.

because you are seeing what they have their own addresses set up as rather than anything you may see stored in your own computer.
If they bypassed the First and Last Name when setting up their own mail client then some ISPs or clients may default to putting the email in place of the empty entries.

Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

Double hotmail mail box

hello all,
ive configured a hotmail mail box through the nokia email 3.12.0. but after install the msn messenger, i know have 2 hotmail email box..is there a way to remove the one that comes with the messenger? id have prefered to use the one on the nokia messaging.

HT201342 I got a notice there is an icloud email reserved for me. It reads like I will get all my icloud mail in my .me acc't along with my me mail. Double of the mail? Has anyone tried this icloud mail yet?

The notice reads like I will receive my icloud emails in my icloud AND my me acc'ts. Double the amount of email? Also, I tried to set up the icloud acct in my mac mail preferences and it says the me acct is already set up. Why would I need 2 different email extensions if it's the same acct? This is weird. Has anybody tried this new icloud email?

You can use @icloud.com or @me.com to send and receive emails from. They share the same inbox. You won't get double the mail.
You don't setup an icloud email account in the mail preferences. They are automatically setup in system preferences >> icloud. You can choose which you are sending from when you're composing an email by click the drop down menu beside "from". You can chose the default in mail menu >> preferences >> composing.

Mail double notifications

Hello everyone; everytime i get a new mail, there is a notification shows up in the right top corner of the screen which is pretty normal. but when this notification disappears, there is always one more appearing for the SAME MAIL only with the difference that has the beginning with name of the account in paranthesis such as "(Hotmail)". So that how could i make the second ones not appeared?
Btw, i'm using the standart Mail application.

Double push notifications for e-mails sent to self

Since iOS 8 I am getting double e-mail notifications for e-mails which I sent to myself. I also know the cause of this problem:
It happens with all Exchange-accounts, so I went to verify the Push settings for these accounts. There, both Inbox and Sent are checked. Inbox cannot be unchecked, but Sent can be unchecked. However, this unchecking isn't being saved by iOS. When returing to verify this Push setting, the checkmark for Sent has re-appeared.
Anyone else with this problem? I have it both on an iPhone 6 and iPad 3 Retina.

Just once. I think it has to do with gmail receiving a notification to my inbox and the all-mail folder in gmail; but I can't figure out how to set up so it only advise a new email once. I'm using the native email application on my ipad and iphone.

Mail text in order confirmation output

Hi, SD gurus:
In our SAP system, order confirmation output is currently sent to customer via email with PDF attachement, works perfectly. Email has proper title (order number), order confirmation PDF attachment, but without any content in the mail body.
User has requested to including a following text in the mail content body - "For terms and conditions, please visit our website.....".
I did following: In IMG config -> maintain output type, under output types, folder "maintain title and text", i maintained the above text. However when the order confirmation is sent, it still only has the mail subject, and PDF attachment, the text that i maintained is not appeariing in the mail content body.
Please advise whether i missed anything?

i went to IMG -> xxxxxx -> maintain output type -> go to the order confirmation output type, and then double click "mail title and tex", then click green arrow back, and has the screen to maintain the language, text and document title, i add text "fof terms and conditions, please visit xxx" in the text field. I though this text field is where the mail body text comes from. Is there anything i did wrong?

Fake mail appearing in every gmail notification widget

I don't know what happened or how, and searching online and here in the forums has yielded no solutions or even examples of others experiencing the same problem. Here's the story:
I use GotMailG in dashboard to check my mail, as I have multiple gmail addressed, both at gmail.com and via google apps. It would be a nightmare to try to check email across so many different addresses if I had to log in and out in the browser, so dashboard is perfect for me. (I used to use a different widget until it stopped working.)
This morning, when I first booted up everything was fine. Then, about an hour or so later, I went to dashboard and it was showing 1 email for every account. VERY unusual, so I clicked one to check and there was no new email at all. Clicked another, same story. Every email address now shows 1 new email when there is nothing there, and to make matters worse if I DO have a new email it does not go up to 2.
I searched for other widgets and found g4me, which yields the same result, BUT I can see a snippet of the fake email. It's an ad for Roxio Toast 10 Pro, from [email protected] Sounds like a spam email address to me, but ***, I can't get rid of it because it doesn't exist on the server?!?
I also tried the Google Notifier, which seems to work fine, so the problem must be originating on my machine, not on the gmail servers. I found instructions for running multiple copies of the Google Notifier, but it looks complicated, especially when I have to do it for 6 different emails.
Has anyone seen this problem on their own machine? I am at a loss for what to do.

I think I've found a fix.
I didn't test it thoroughly but at a first glance mail notifications seem to be working correctly again.

Basically, log in to gmail, and change in the settings for labels the following. Uncheck "show in IMAP" for starred and important.
