Double login required

I have a portal application that has some forms applications inside, the applications are presented using an html portlet and the user is identified via SSO, the problem is since a server reboot when a user tries to access a forms application, the login page is presented instead of going directly to the application.Once the user enters his/hers credentials again everything works ok for that session, it seems as if the sso session from portal is different from the one on forms. Both portal and forms are in the same server and respond to the same url.

PS double dependent requirements

I created a project with several activities. I created WBS BOM with two materials tIhat need to be procured in advance.
I assigned FG to a network activity and the two raw materials to another ativity.
Now, if I run MRP, I have double dependent requirements about raw materials, more exactly one derived from FG and another one derivad from assignment to activity, In which way I can avoid this double requirements? I have to assign materials to activity because I need to use as requirement date, the activity date

do not assign any raw materials again to the activity
run the MRP
note that when MRP is executed,in the background ,as you have maintained the settings for materials,(consult with your MM consultant and PP consultant.),PR shall be created for the materials for which there is no project stock.and it shall also consider the lead time as maintained in the materials.

SSO requires double login for partner application

I'm having some trouble with SSO partner applications, when I login to a SSO protected application, the login works fine, but when I try to navigate to another application I'm presented with the login page again, the sso cookie seems to be working since clicking on the login button without entering the user credentials works. For example, I log in to portal and from there I navigate to a forms application that is on the same server and the same port (portal: https://apps.mydomain.com:4444/pls/portal --> forms: https://apps.mydomain.com/forms/frmservlet?config=app) I am presented with the login page and after clicking on the login button without entering any information everything works fine. This is happening for all the middle tiers that are connected to the same OID. Any ideas on what can be wrong on my configuration?

The problem sounds really wierd.
Can you check your SSO settings for your Portal ECC system? I mean, please check the User Management/Administration properties in your System Adminstration of Portal System that points to ECC.

No login requirement

We are looking at using Instant Portal for a private Intranet. One requirement the project manager won't move on is that he doesn't want the users to have to login to the system. I have posted a query about modifying the login.jsp to include a hard coded username and password and some form of auto submit to the SSO forum. I am hoping someone on this forum may have already come up with a work around for this, for what I think would be quite a common requirement.
The Project manager is looking at other products as well and it would be shame for them (and me as an Oracle contractor) if they start to move off the Oracle platform.

I believe you first need to evaluate what you already have at your customer so that later on you are possible to choose on the right path to go to... Things such as Windows Native Authentication, etc... are possible. The thing is it needs to be thought how it will be the implementation. The only thing I can advice you it to gather up the information and check the Documentation and if any question please fire it to the forums or alternatively to the Oracle Support.
Also the Portal may or may not be the best to put these kind of questions (depending the nature of the question - maybe put in more than a forum in case of doubt).

Embedded swf in director on touch screen - double tap required

There is a known problem with swf's with nested mc's embedded in a director projector when used on a touchscreen (with dragmode enabled)
I've found many threads referring to the problem (here's some), but none of the solutions suit my particular situation.

Basically, the problem is that flash requires a mouseRollOver event to give the focus to the mc, before it registers an onPress. With a touchscreen, where the cursor is disabled, the first click and release on the swf (or nested mc's) reads as an onRollOver event, and the user must click again to register an onPress and onRelease. This leads to very confusing behaviours in my application where I have dots (embedded mc's) being created when an image is touched, then the dots can be clicked and dragged, or double tapped to be removed.
All works fine when the mouse and cursor is used, but I can't get it to work using a single tap on the touchscreen. In some cases I can get away with using onRollOver but when used with startDrag I can't think of a way of stopping the drag when the user lifts their finger. (which doesn't register as an event)
What I need is an AS2 script that forces a click event (onPress) when the user taps the button once. Unfortunately I only know AS2 so can't use mouseEvents from AS3. I've spent days on this (after I thought I'd got all the bugs out) and have run out of ideas. Any suggestions appreciated please

}; where pressAction() starts the drag and sets dotName and a flag to record if its using the rollover or press.

Double logins

I'm hoping this is the right forum for this. It wasn't a agent deployment, and I'm guessing it has to do with a policy. We're pretty much a Windows XP SP3 shop. Quite often, a number of our users are reporting issues when logging in, saying they get a second screen asking for a login. We are only using three policies, DLU, Remote Control, and Zenworks Explorer. No group policies. The DLU policy is associated with our tree (ldap) and to the workstation device folder. It is set for (Use user source credentials and manage existing user account, and member of administrator.) We are using contextless logins also.
We get the Zenworks Configuration Management login screen, saying "A password is required for this realm." Unable to log into the network because hte login creditionals or the server certificate is incorrect. We've had this problem off and on for the three months we've been using Zenworks 11. I just upgraded to SP2 in the last couple of weeks. We're running on Windows 2008 R2, 8 gig of ram, running in VMware ESX. Usually if we just escape out and try to login again, it seems to work. Sometimes a reboot (of server) gets them in. It seems to happen more in the lab settings than anywhere else. Any ideas?

Avoid double login for BSP iView

Hello,
I have installed a Netweaver 2004s Application Server + Portal. The user data source for the Portal is the ABAP System. I have created a portal page that contains a BSP iView. This BSP is created in the Application Server, and the portal page is assigned to a role.
When I access the portal with a user with that role, I have to log in, but for seeing the content of the BSP there is a second login request. Both logins are the same user and password against the same user data source (ABAP system). Is there any way to avoid the second login request apart of SSO?

Change the application's authentication scheme to DATABASE. You should see that scheme on the authentication scheme report, just click the "make current" link and confirm. Then the whole application will be public. To make selected pages public in your application, leave the authentication scheme as is and change the authentication attribute of those pages to "Page is Public" on the page attributes form.

Multiple logins required

With Lion, I am forced to login twice ... once with a username password prompt with the full screen background image, and then with the normal Lion login (with my picture). So I have to login twice after sleep.
Is this normal or is there some setting I am missing?

The same happened to me today, only in reverse order.
I logged in from the normal grey login screen. After that I got another small login screen, just like the one you get if you lock your screen, only that it was not on top of my desktop picture nor on top of my screen saver but on top of the standard Lion desktop picture (galaxy and stars). That Lion standard desktop picture including the login window seemed to be contained in a window, because i could move both away using the “show deskop” active corner. Behind that window was just a black screen.
I don’t know what to make of this. I hope it’s just a bug.

HELP!! Double Login???

I don't know why this is happening or how serious of a problem it is. I want to install the 10.4.6 update enroute to the new firmware update, that appartenly deals with the whine and cooling issues (can anyone confirm this?)
BUT I am afraid to (to make any major changes) because my macbook pro has me logged in TWICE. Meaning, under the Apple there are TWO shut down options TWO restart options and TWO Log Out "My Username" options.
They are identical. I do not have multiple login accounts on this computer. Just one admin account.
I know this is tweeking my computer because anything I single click on, like a folder get outlined in a black box. Looks very glitchy.
Anyway. If I log out one of them, I can either re log in or restart/shutdown. If I restart I still am logged in TWICE.
If I LOG OUT THE OTHER identical account. A dialogue box pops up with a glitchy looking blox box outlining a message says "are you sure you want to quit all applications and log out" and that log out timer running under it.
Well given that I have restarted I have no applications open.
It is as if it caught remember so other time ... I tried to log out or forced quit something .....
How do I resolve this. Should I software update and hope that it reolves it. I am afraid it might make it worse ....?

It was indeed the voice over (universal access) My volume was muted so I didn't hear it talking. I had accidetally starting it using Apple + F5

Hello. It's July 31, 2013 today. It's Wednesday today.
About half an hour ago, I replied to jim.marion in my thread https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2561843 whose title is "Install PeopleTools 8.53 with Linux Issue: Client Windows and Server Linux".
I have been login in the Forum but when replied to jim.marion, a message box came up after his name: you are no longer login, please "login".
I click the "login" button and enter my account name and password in a rush to reply to jim.marion. I think this login is not neccessary ! I assume jim.marion has stealed my account name and password !
My questions are:
First, please ask jim.marion to explain what's going on ? !
Second, if jim.marion got my account name and password, please don't abuse my account name and password !
Third, how to change account password ? Does any folk confront the same issue ?

I have been trying to think of something witty to say on my behalf, but figured I better stop thinking and just reply to say, no, I haven't been logged in as you. At this time I have no desire to change my persona, but maybe you can change that by telling me a little about yourself? Do you have a yacht? How many homes do you own? Vacation condos? I'm pretty sure that your OTN forum account is tied to all other oracle.com accounts, including MyO support, OTN, OpenWorld, etc, so change your password at any of these locations and it should propagate.
Do you have any more details? Not that I can fix any of it. I am just curious as to why you think someone has your credentials.

Is it possible to secure the entire wiki server, require user authentication to access any content on the wiki server (home, people,documents...)?

Does anyone not have this problem? I'm wondering if it's a Kerberos thing.
