Double oo keyborad problem

Im Portuguese and I don't really know if this is a generic problem or specific one related to the language or the software beeing used.
In reality I'm posing this situation in result of, after sending a draft text to a friend, he saw the double OO occurence and said that the same hapens to him.
We can't say that it's a real problem, but sometimes it's boring to correct all the OO that occur at the end of a word.
Does anyone knows anything about this? I've tried to find solutions on net but it doesn't appear none.
Regards,
tfeio

What are you talking about exactly?  An email message?  A MS Word document?

  • Creating PDFs for Double Sided Printing Problem

    I'm not having trouble printing, but with generating a pdf that will print double sided correctly. Currently I have a pdf with many invoices on it. Some are an odd number of pages long and some even. The problem I have is if I don't insert a blank page to the invoices with an odd number of pages (to make it even), then the next invoice's 1st page will be on the back of the previous invoice.
    Example:
    Invoice #1 has 3 pages
    Invoice #2 has 4 pages
    Invoice #3 has 2 pages
    After double-siding
    Invoice #1
    Page 1
    Front: Page 1 from Invoice 1
    Back: Page 2 from Invoice 1
    Page 2
    Front: Page 3 from Invoice 1
    Back: Page 1 from Invoice 2 <------ This is my issue

    Hi Brian
    this is addressed in 5.6.2, you can force and odd or even page to end the document, if you need the extra blank page to finish on a odd page say XMLP will insert it for you. Check the docs, http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25516_11/current/acrobat/115xdoug.zip

  • Laserjet 1536 double side printing problem

    bought the all-in-one laserjet 1536 recently. I am using Windows XP on my computer and connecting the printer through wireless.
    i find that when i attempt to print double-sided from powerpoint or pdf, the 2nd page will become multiple black lines while the first page is fine. However if I print from Word there is no such problem.
    Can someone please advise me what to do? Thanks!

    Using a networked connection, I tested the below fdrivers in XP SP3 and did not have any of the issues that you reported. If you are still experiencing this issues, I would suggest that you try re-loading the full solution drivers located on hp.com.

  • Double byte font problem

    I'm trying to track down a double byte font that's worked its way into a form. When I try and open the form in Reader I get an error message saying to download the Japanese font pack.
    In Acrobat the font shows up as KozGoPr6N-Medium Type 1 CID. I've hunted through the xml source with no luck and also taken a look at any special characters used. Being an XFA PDF I can't use my usual tools like Pitstop to track it down.
    I've seen this happen once before when trying to use some upper unicode characters but we aren't using any in this form from what I can see. Webdings and Wingdings 2 are being used for a few characters but I tried them on their own and they don't seem to be the problem. I've also tried unembedding fonts but no luck.
    Any ideas?

    Figured it out...had to print the form to a normal pdf so I could run a preflight on it.
    Form some reason Designer(?) encodes some upper unicode characters as Japanese? Or something. I ran into this a while back when trying to use a couple of up/down arrow characters in a form.
    Turns out the offending character was an N or M space. I replaced it with a Tab character and it's now fine.

  • Double-sided printing problem Acrobat Pro

    I am trying to print pdf docs (downloaded from scientfic journals) and do right thing by manual doubled-sided printing i.e. print even pages first in reverse, turn paper over and then print odd pages.
    When I first print even pages in reverse it prints second page twice and when I print odd pages it does not print last page.
    I have doing this for last 5 years using older versions of Acrobat Professional with no problems.

  • Double number Display problem

    Hi,
    in my programe i have the following calculation
    double a= 12;
    double b= 74;
    tonum = Math.pow(a,b);
    charcount = new Double(count).toString();
    System.out.println("The value of charcount is : "+ charcount);
    when i do this it displays "7.234561410946297E79"
    how do i display the number without this "E" ??
    thanks

    The problem is you cannot get 7*10^79 into a long.
    I slammed out this code:
    <code>
    import java.text.NumberFormat;
    public class Test {
         public static void main( String[] arg ) {
              double d = 7.234561410946297E79;
              System.out.println( NumberFormat.getInstance().format( d ));
    </code>
    and got this output:
    72,345,614,109,462,970,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
    Probably still not exactly what you are looking for, but take a look at the NumberFormat class and see if you think it will work for you.
    }

  • Camera shake reduction filter - double exposure blur problem

    I am having a problem using the camera shake reduction filter to work on a digital image of an old photo which had a clear cut motion blur which formed a
    double exposure when the camera motion stopped... this can be seen when the image is enlarged. Is it possible to sharpen these type of images ?

    Can you post a small bit of it?
    Usually the Shake Reduction tool will improve an image some, especially if you hunt around with the position, size, and shape of the analysis region until it gets it just about right, but there's really not a magical fix for motion-blurred images.  Such an image, with whatever recovery mechanism, will not ever look as an image that's well-exposed to begin with.

  • HP Deskjet 6988 double sided printing problem

    I'm new to Snow Leopard running 10.6.2. I installed HP update 2.5.2. In the past I usually left the option set to print double sided and the driver figured out what to do with a single page item. Now, with a single page, it prints it, waits for the ink to dry and then prints blank on the other side. Even worse, I asked for 10 copies of a single page and got 10 copies - one on each side of 5 pages. It's not a problem if I know how much paper a document requires but a pain when printing something off the web or an email where I don't know how long it will be.
    Should I install the driver from HP?

    I just purchased a duplexer for an HP Deskjet 6988.
    It works fine on my Macs running 10.5.X but doesn't work on my Macbook Air running 10.6.6. I'm able to select two sided printing from several applications, Apple and non Apple applications on the 10.5.X machines. The Air, it doesn't even recognize that it can print two sided.
    I've called Apple, they told me they don't have anything to do with the printer software even after I explained that I can print on older software and not on the latest machine. They directed me to HP. I called HP and they said they don't have drivers for 10.6 for this printer and told me to download the 10.5 software after resetting the printer. None of this worked. Turning the printer off, then deleting the printer software, adding it, restarting the computer ... all failed.
    $1800 computer that can't print two sided. Go figure.
    If anyone has a solid solution short of replacing a three year old, light used printer, I'm all ears.
    Thanks

  • Regarding Double Quotes [Javascript] problem

    Hi,
    In a BSP application I have a field with F4 help (Popup Page).
    F4 Help Page contain search fields and results in tableView, each cell
    in tableView is rendered using htmlb_link controller. In event
    onclientclick of the htmlb_link I'm using a Javascript method for
    passing data back to the calling window.
    CONCATENATE 'passDataBack("' browner_id '", "' browner_text '")' INTO
    lorv_link->onclientclick.
    JavaScript Method has the following body.
    function passDataBack(browner_id, browner_text )
    window.opener.document.getElementById("
    <%= controller->mv_js_browner_id %> ").value = browner_id;
    <U>window.opener.document.getElementById("
    <%= controller->mv_js_browner_text %> ").value = browner_text;
    IF the data browner_text contain text with double quotes, then I'm
    getting Java Script error. I tried encoding the string, double Quote are
    converted to &quot; but still, the Java script error is showing.
    Please suggest a solution.
    Thanks & Regards

    try this
    CONCATENATE `passDataBack('`  browner_id `', '` browner_text `' )`  INTO

  • Double to string problem

    i write such code
    double a = 4.3
    double b = 3
    System.out.println(a*b)
    why return value is 12.8999999999999
    how to make it return right string?Please help me!

    Computers can't accurately handle certain floatingpoint values, that's a fact.
    Use the DecimalFormat class to format the string to having a certain amount of digits after the decimal point, that should give you the correct value (or at least a nicer looking one).

  • Double.parseDouble(String) - problems when string is in scientific notation

    Hello guys,
    I'm doing some numerical calculations and I wonder whether it is possible for Double.parseDouble(String) to parse string in the scientific notation i.e. 1.0824234234E-10. Is it the notation itself causing the exception : NumberFormatException or the number is just too big/small and double can't hold it ?
    If it's just the notation how can I fix it ?
    Regards

    i'm not quite sure whether double odoes not allow it.
    perhaps consider the api Double.valueOf() and the testing code provided; reproduced below:To avoid calling this method on a invalid string and having a NumberFormatException be thrown, the regular expression below can be used to screen the input string:
            final String Digits     = "(\\p{Digit}+)";
      final String HexDigits  = "(\\p{XDigit}+)";
            // an exponent is 'e' or 'E' followed by an optionally

                 "[+-]?(" + // Optional sign character
                 "NaN|" +           // "NaN" string
                 "Infinity|" +      // "Infinity" string
                 // A decimal floating-point string representing a finite positive
                 // number without a leading sign has at most five basic pieces:
                 // Digits . Digits ExponentPart FloatTypeSuffix
                 // Since this method allows integer-only strings as input
                 // in addition to strings of floating-point literals, the
                 // two sub-patterns below are simplifications of the grammar
                 // productions from the Java Language Specification, 2nd
                 // edition, section 3.10.2.
                 // Digits ._opt Digits_opt ExponentPart_opt FloatTypeSuffix_opt

  • Double.parseDouble(String) : Problem to parse large String

    Hello,
    I need to convert A String to a Double in my application without rounding of digits.
    I have used the Double.parseDouble(String) method.
    The maximum string length can be 17 including dot(.)
    So if my String is (of length 17)
    Eg.
    S= 9999999999.999999 then I am getting the double value as
    d= 9999999999.999998(compare the last digit)
    If s = 9999999999.111111 then d = 9999999999.111110
    If s = 9999999999.555555 then d = 9999999999.555555 (result that I want)
    If s = 9999999999.666666 then d = 9999999999.666666 (result that I want)
    If s = 9999999999.777777 then d = 9999999999.777777 (result that I want)
    If s = 9999999999.888888 then d = 9999999999.888887
    If s = 9999999999.999999 then d = 9999999999.999998
    If s = 9123456789.123456 then d = 9123456789.123456
    But string length up to 16 is giving me the accurate result
    So any body can explain me that why it is happening? And how can i get the accurate result.
    Thanks in advanced.

    Hi,
    Thank You for your suggestion. By which i can store
    the big double number in Data base , but at some
    point i require to parse a double value from a Double
    reference.In that case if the Decimal value length
    => 16 then it the last digit changes or rounds.
    coverting 9999999999.999999 Decimal value to double
    value. It gives me 9999999999.999998 and
    9999999999.9999999 gives me the 10000000000.0000000.
    but the Double value 999999999.999999 is ok
    and 999999999.99999999 rounds.Err, is there a follow up question in there?

  • Pls Help :JTable Double Value Editing Problem

    hi friends
    as i am new to swings and Jtable pls help me if u can.
    in the code copied below when i start putting value into the Double column of JTable
    a ( .0 ) is appended at the end which is undesirable it should be like that only when the value is
    something like 22.99 and also i want to limit the double value's fractional part to be limited to 2 digits only.
    if this can be done in my Table model itself so that it will work everywhere i use this model

                        else//not a double so let's toString() it...
                               this.setText(""+value);
    }then, using code pasted above, specify a new instance of this class as the default renderer in your

    Recieved recent OS update Honey Comb 3.2.1 for IDEAPAD K1 and after this Leveno Keyboard is not working. Is there any fix? For now I disabled the Leveno Keyboard from settings but looking for any workaround.
    Thanks
    Jaissy

    Sometimes IME fails can cause issues across the board with keyboards in general. Try this if you have not already. Go to applications> all> Lenovo ime> wait for the data to populate and then clear data. This will probably fix the lenovo IME fc problem. However the other comment is accurate by all means get swiftkey x or thumb keyboard etc. There are a lot of great keyboard options on the market.
