Double shedule lines confirmed-Urgent

Hi
Today for one of the order two shedule lines are confirmed.
Like below in SO-Item-Shedule lines
Delivery date    ord qty  rounded qty confirmed qty
03/19/2007       50        50                50
03/19/2007       0        0                   50
Any idea for why duplicate shedule lines are confirmed here any OSS notes for this?
Urgent help needed.

Hi,
I guess the only way to figure out specifically what is happening behind the scenes is debugging. ABAP team should be able to help you. Check the internal tables xvbep, yvbep for the sales order program SAPMV45A. While debugging, try to run the availability check again. Then monitor any updates to tables, xvbep and yvbep.
The error could be due to a user exit modification or a genuine SAP issue which is caused due to conflict with SAP ATP check and APO based ATP check.
Debugging will help you to nail down how it is happening.
Also check database table VBEP using transaction SE16 to check whether duplicate schedule lines are really saved to database.

The SPRO path in APO/SCM would be
APO >> Global ATP >> General Settings >> Maintain Global Settings for Availability Check
In that for the Availability Check settings entry there is an option for Accept Time. The F1 help for it is as below.
ATP: Accept Schedule Lines According to Time
Confirmed schedule lines in the sales order of the connected OLTP system (SAP R/3) based on the time.
    Use
The indicator defines if the confirmed schedule lines of the sales orders in the connected OLTP system (SAP R/3) should be adopted based on the day or on the time.
If the indicator is set, the sales order adopts the changes of the confirmed schedule lines or the confirmations for a time other than the desired delivery time, to the exact second. In the sales order a second schedule line is created for the same day, but created with a different time, or the times of the confirmed schedule lines can be changed.
If the indicator is not set, only one schedule line exists in the sales order if the desired delivery day can be kept, or only changes to the confirmed schedule lines are adopted that are at least one day different from the desired delivery date.
    Dependencies
If confirmed schedule lines should be created based on the time, this can lead to several confirmed schedule lines for a request schedule line being created per day in the sales order, and in the item overview the impression is given that no confirmation could be made according to what was requested.
In addition, the data volume of the SAP R/3 database tables VBEP and VBBE will increase significantly, since each schedule line is represented with a data record in these tables. The same effect will also occur for the APO liveCache and for the database table /SAPAPO/SCHEDLIN.
    Example
    Request: Confirmation Situation:
    100 pieces for 01.01.2002  12:00
    50 pieces for 01.01.2002 14:00
    30 pieces for 01.01.2002 16:00
    20 pieces for 01.01.2002 18:00
If this indicator is NOT set, the request schedule line is confirmed and no further schedule lines are created:
    100 pieces for 01.01.2002  12:00
If this indicator is set, the following (partially) confirmed schedule lines are created:
    00 pieces for 01.01.2002 12:00
    50 pieces for 01.01.2002 14:00
    30 pieces for 01.01.2002 16:00
    20 pieces for 01.01.2002 18:00
I guess this is what you are refering to.

  • Committed and confirmed quantity in shedule line

    Hi,
I have an order in which material was not confirmed on a day when that material was present.
I noticed that the commited quantity was 1 but confirmed qtty was 0 on the shedule line of that day. Later the order confirmed on a later date with both confimed qtty & committed qtty as 1.
    Questions
1)Why did the material did not confirm on that day?
2)What is the difference between confirmed and committed qtty?
    Regards,

    This is Standard SAP.
1)Why did the material did not confirm on that day?
Material was not confirmed for possible reason being:
    a. Material not in Stock
    b. Material in Stock, but based on number of Lead Days, it is confirming future date.
2)What is the difference between confirmed and committed qtty?
Confirmed Quantity is confirmed on to be available for delivery on a particular Date and particular Quantity.
Commited Quantity is the Commited Quantity in sales Order.

    Thanks
    Raju..

    Hi there,
    This is possible through reports.
Ask your ABAPer to develop a report that reads a customer selection criteria from the selection scrren.
    1.reads all open orders.
    2. Read the schedule line data for the open items in the order.
    3. Download the information into an Excel & mail it to the customers.
    4. Make sure that you get these datails only when the user runs the report manually giving the selection criteria.
Discuss with the business what selection cretiria they want like customer num, from & to dates etc.

  • Schedule lines confirmation based on item category(TAN and TANN)

    Hi All,
We have a problem with the schedule line confirmation in the standard sales order. Suppose if I give the item category as TAN, the schedule lines are confirmed for that line item. If I change the item category from TAN to TANN, then there is no confirmation of the material(No confirmed schedule lines).
How Item categories influence the schedule lines? Are schedule lines also depend on customer?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Pranil.

    Hi Pranil,
When you change Item Category then most likely in your case Schedule Line Category is also getting redetermined.
Schedule Line category is determined by the Combination of Item category and MRP Type of Material.
Hence please check your Schedule Line category after entering new Item category.
Open VOV6 and check the Schedule Line Category. In that if Item Rel for Delivery Check Box is Unchecked then it means that
your schedule line will get unconfirmed.
Do let me know if this helps.
    Regards,
    Madhukar

  • Pre-Approved for Merrick Double Your Line BUT...

I've been rebuilding my credit for a little over a year and have had great success with it so far. Last week I received a pre-approval offer for Merrick Bank's Double Your Limit, with what I think are probably some of the best terms they offer: No annual fee$1250 limit, to double in 7 months if conditions are met0% interest for 12 months19.45% thereafterI had decided to accept this offer as I really want to close my CapOne Secured, but there's one problem... They ran their original soft pull in May, but I just barely opened an Amazon Store Card. I checked on MPM, and my scores have fallen almost 40 points across the board since yesterday. Honestly I'm pretty surprised the hit was so drastic; I expected there would be some decrease due to the inquiry and the decline in Average Age of Accounts, but 40 points seems excessive. It's probably because I made a purchase on the card that brought the utilization up to 32%, but my overall utilization is excellent... Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, I'm afraid to try to accept the offer now. Has anyone been offered terms like these with a lower score? Mine was about 710 when they pulled, is now 670. I already made a payment that brought my Amazon utilization down to 23%, and will make another in about two weeks. Is there any chance my scores will rebound by the end of the month? The offer expires August 27th. Do you think if I let it expire, wait for my scores to increase, and then call they might re-extend the offer? I know it's not the very best card or anything, but it would be my first granted unsecured, and my first with an interest rate under 20%. I'm still very timid about applying for cards, even with my credit being improved (though less so now lol) so the pre approval made me feel a little more secure until I checked MPM. Now I'm just kind of bummed  Thanks in advance for the feedback.

It's my understanding that Double Your Line is Merrick's credit rebuilding card. They have a secured version, and unsecured which is invite only. The invitations often have different APRs and fees based on the soft pull the do for the invite. This was the card and terms offered to me at 710, which obviously they won't approve at 670. Ignore me, I'm an idiot... I thought you were saying my scores weren't good enough for Merrick so I was confused! I like the Quicksilver, also like the Chase Freedom, I'm just worried my scores aren't high enough for either after this recent hit.

  • Credit limit check cause the item schedule line confirmed qty empty

    Hi,
I have an SO that is under credit limit check, the problem is, after releasing it via VKM3, the confirmed qty at item schedule line is not taking the qty as of stock at the time. The SO qty is 100 Pcs, but there's still stock of 80 Pcs. I will then need to split the schedule line to 2 lines --> 1st line with order qty 80 Pcs, and 2nd line 20 Pcs. Then only the confirmed qty appear for the 80Pcs.
For usual SO that is without credit checking, the confirmed qty will immediately shown as in 1 schedule line. Does anyone know why is this happening and can we amend this problem?
    Thanks.

    Hi
If an order is subject to credit check once you save the order the confirmed quantities becomes 0 because if the settings done in t code OVB8 Number of the routine used for copying is set as 101and System FORM routine number is set as 1 (and this is the standard settings)
This is kept like this in standard so that if a material stock is say 10 units and order from customer X has come for 10 units and that order is blocked on crediit limit so that when the next order from customer Y has come for another 5 units and this customer Y has a better credit limit and this order is not blocked on Credit limit check then she should not suffer for stocks
A genuine customer should not be deprived of stocks
For you between the order registered and released thro VKM3 another order has come from another customer for 20 units and hence the 100 units has become 80 now and balance 20 is confirmed for a future date thro forward scheduling
In T code OVB8 you can do the customizations for this scenario according to the business requirement
    Regards
    Raja

  • Schedule line confirmed but unable to create delivery

    hi,
schedule lines are confirmed but still not able to create delivery, stock is available in the storage location, no reservations are against the storage location, when i try to create a delivery, delivery quantity field is empty then when i try to enter deliver quantity and picked quantity system give error message ; only 0 ea of material XXXXX available.
issue has high priority kindly assist me with this

    hi,
There are so many reasons for not able to create a delivery.
    1) Check the stock in storage location In MMBE
    2) In MD04 check the requirement whether the stock is reserved for any other order
    3) In MD04 or in material master check if any safety stock is maintained.

    Hi,
    >Wish to know when & why does the schedule line Exist tab in sales order trigger.
Schedule line is a place where you can define different delivery dates for a single line item.
Let's say, you have one line item for quantity 1000. Now if your production department and planning department saying they can deliver it in a weekly basis.(Say 250 for each week)
In that case you have 2 options.
One is to create 4 separate line items instead of original line item with different delivery dates and relevant quantities.
You can create delivery from VL01N or VL10C here for relevant line item.
    Else
have 4 different schedule lines with delivery dates and relevant quantities
You can do delivery from VL10E for this case for relevant schedule line.
Same is happening when ATP is triggered, where system suggest different delivery dates as different schedule lines.
So it's based on ATP or it can be your decision as well.
    >when I try to do the delivery I get an error u201CNo schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date u201D.
This can happen for many reasons.
1 - Because the "Selection Date" you have given in the VL01N screen is not equal or greater than the "delivery date" you have maintained in the schedule lines.
    Always make sure below rule.
"Selection Date" of the VL01N > "delivery date" you have maintained in the schedule lines
Therefore change the date in the "Selection Date"  of the VL01N to "delivery date" you have maintained in the schedule line or forward date and try.
    2 - You don't have confirmed stock.
Check your schedule line tab for "Confirmed quantity" column, if you don't have a value there, this error comes. This happens when you haven't done ATP.
    Best regards,
    Anupa

  • Schedule lines - Confirmed quantity issue

    Hi
I have a make to order material which is purchased from a vendor. A purchase requistion is automatically created every time it is quoted in a sales order.
In a particular case, I had 1 such material which was not in inventory and  which could be used while delivering a particular sales order. I posted goods reciept using movement type 501 - E and received it as a part of sales order stock.
Now when I go to the schedule lines screen in the sales order, it shows confirmed quantity as '0' (See screen shot below) and therefore I am not able to deliver this sales order.
Availability check is configured as in the following screen shot
    [http://i44.tinypic.com/290swwg.jpg]
How can I get a confirmed quantity of 1 in the schedule line. Why is not SAP recognizing 1 in sales order stock?
Please help me with this issue.
    Regards,
    Ketan

    Ketan,
    The config is acceptable.
SAP generally does not let you enter confirmation quantities manually.
This issue is that you have said you have RELEVANT (sales order relevant) stock on hand, and you cannot get a confirmation.
Now you are saying when you do the ATP check, it does 'nothing'. I am going to assume that you have already checked that the item of the sales order is not rejected.
Normally, during an ATP check, you should have gotten a proposal screen, which will show that 0 or more pieces are available for confirmation.  If only zero is available, the system only will give you an icon on this proposal screen which says 'Continue'.  You still should get this screen! Since you haven't gotten this screen, There is probably one of three things wrong.  Either you have something missing in ATP config, or you have an authorization issue, or you have a userexit that is interfering with the ATP check.
SD ATP settings and config is not simple, and neither is debugging a userexit.  This is not an MM issue, this is SD.  Consult with your SD team to determine your next step.  Or, if you have no SD resource, you should probably repost this message on an SD forum.

  • Schedule Line Confirmations after delivery

I need to be able to delivery a confirmed schedule line, then go back and add quantity to the sales order and confirm the additional quantity.  The system is showing the original schedule (pre-delivery) confirmed and delivered, but the added quantity shows on the schedule lines, but remains unconfirmed, even if I run availability check again.  sch. line cat is CP.  If I add the additional qty as another line item, it confirms.
    Any advice?

    Hi,
Where are you adding the additional quantity?  Have you tried adding in the Confirmed Quantity Column in the Schedule lines tab?
    Thanks
    Krish.
