Double spaces after checking out the code

I am seeing double spaces in my code after checking out in cvc.
Could anyone please help me how to remove the spaces.

Why does RCS prompt me to check out the .XPJ file when I open RoboHelp HTML?

We just upgraded from X3 to X5 and began using RoboSource
Control. We currently have a dedicated server machine and 1 client
machine (we'll be adding 3 more client machines once I resolve all
issues with this one). I have working folders set up on each
machine so I can open the Help projects with RoboHelp HTML.
The issue here is that I often receive the following prompt
in a dialog box when I open a Help project in RH HTML:
"To add version control information to this project, the
files in the list below need to be checked out from version
control. Do you want to check out these files?" (The only file
listed is the .XPJ file.)
I only seem to receive this message after I have opened that
particular Help project on the other PC. E.g., I open Help project
A on the Server. If I close it, I can re-open the Help project on
that machine multiple times without receiving the message. However,
if I then open Help project A on the client machine, I'll get the
prompt to check out the XPJ file. If I check it out, I can then
re-open the Help project on that machine multiple times without
receiving the message. Of course, if check in the XPJ file from the
client machine, I'll get the prompt on the Server machine to check
it out the next time I go to open it up from there.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was prompted to check out the
XPJ for one of our Help projects this morning. I clicked
No (to NOT check out the XPJ file from the database), then
selected the
File Status tab, right-clicked on the XPJ file, selected
Show Differences... and discovered that the XPJ file in the
database had the following version control related text, whereas
the XPJ file in the working folder on my SERVER machine did not
(the working folder copy on my CLIENT machine matched the file in
the database):
Note: This code appears between a <miscproperties> line
and a <CompileOptions> line (both XPJ files had these two
lines).

Double space after apostrophe in iMessage

Ever since I updated to Mavericks, iMessage on my MacBook Pro (mid 2012) adds a double space after I use an apostrophe! It also doesn't save my background color preference (but it does save font color, font, and other user's font and color). It only shows up for me, not for the person I send the message to.

The Original Poster newer came back with any more info on the subject.
This also left her Balloon (or Background) colour unresolved as well.
In Messages 8 (Mavericks) the Smiley function now uses the Emoji font to create the Smilies.
In iChat versions and Messages 7 you could show the Smiley drop down and mousing over the Smilies would reveal the text keystrokes that would be needed to create it if typing them.
This does not happen with the Emoji Font.
However most of the icons are created by double character info which may mean a keystroke might just be invoking it.
Playing with these settings may provide something.

JDeveloper 10g CVS package hierarchy gone after check out?

We are using JDeveloper 9.0.5.2 (Build 1618) together with WinCvs 1.3.17.2.
We successfully imported with JDev a project structure as
client/moduleA/ui;
client/moduleA/db;
client/moduleA/ctr;
client/moduleB/ui;
client/moduleB/db;
client/moduleB/ctr;
into my repository - connecting with a pserver.
If an other pserver-User tries to check out the module CVSRoot, the package hierarchy - as described above - is gone.
All files are mixed up in flat packages ,,Miscellaneous Packages'' and ,,Miscellaneous Files''.
The created file structure is ok (the package hierarchy remained). But as mentioned, the Application Navigator just shows the flat Miscellaneous file structure.
For check out with the ,,Check Out from CVS Wizard'', in step 4 of 4, the options
,,prune empty folders'' ,
,,checkout into Target Folder'' ,
,,Do Not Shorten Pathnames'',
were checked.
What do we have to do, to see in the Application navigator - after a check-out - the imported tree of packages, instead of a flat structure?

Was the project imported to CVS at the same time as the package structure?
Do the project source paths match the filesystem? For example, does the java source path match the root of the java source? Jdev normally puts files in a flat structure if the files are not in the right file system folder for their java package.
If changing the project path does not fix this can you tell me what technologies your using, such as BC4J, struts, Tag libs, etc.. Then I can try and reproduce this here.

The only option is to wipe the device clean and restore it to factory settings. Hope you have a backup.
Follow the instructions in iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 to restore the device to factory settings.
Once you have setup the device as a new one, you can then sync it back with your iTunes account and all your music, apps, contacts and any other content sync'ed with iTunes will be loaded on the device. Any content that is stored only on the device and not sync'ed with iTunes, like app logins or data, will be lost during this process. Be forewarned that this is a long process and can take a couple of hours or more to complete. This can be painful, but it is necessarily so to prevent users from working around the security settings. After the restore is complete, you can setup a new Restrictions passcode. Make a note of the passcode to avoid this situation in future.

I am probably one of the few people who was driven here by the chance to keep my laptop running in Ubuntu Linux (9.10) and still have access to some sort of accurate screenwriting tool. I have just today in fact received a very nice note from the folks at FinalDraft stating that Linux is likely never going to be in their future even though it seems like asimple matter as it actually installs seemingly correctly using Linux and WINE (latest as of this date) but, it will not accept the registration info which is prompting the few Linux users I know interested in screen writing to use alternate and rather poor methods (like Celtx) that simply are cludgy or only work occasionally correctly if at all. There are templates for OpenOffice but they aren;t perfect and have yet another learnign curve. All this brings me here.
The point of jumpint into this thread in the forums is that although I was able to manually install AIR using help from another link, and it did seemingly later update itself, I am unable to install the desktop version as the installer fails for me. It opens a new html doc and asks about installing Story, attempts a download and then after the download seems to complete, it fails.
My question is then, why not just toss a package out there we can access without going through all the installer and download manager hassles. Give me a link that works please and I will download it and install it myself.
As of now, I have inported and adjusted and tagged a short 12 page script ( I work in experimental narrative short films) but I must have internet access for this to work for me. This means I cannot fully test the application as I am unable to test it offline. This is due to downloading and I believe, updating issues.
There is a lot of talk in other areas about feature sets, font types for editing vs printing and other "tools". To be honest with you, I am happy to use it as it is right now with nothing else added or needed from my end. This is working for me on Linux and is my only option.

I lose JQuery functionality after checking out from shopping cart...

Hi Folks,
I have set up a slideshow using JQuery. I have started a one month eCommerce subscription but have not yet added the clients domain name to BC (therefore still using the http://clientsite.businesscatalyst.com domanin).
After checking out from the shopping cart I am redirected to http://clientsite.worldsecuresystems.com/...
When this happens I seem to lose functionality of my javascript plugins such as slideshow and 'prettyphoto' plugin.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hi Brendon, if you search the forums there is a lot on this. "Dom Killing" , "Add to cart jquery" etc.
You should see all the discussions as it is quite intensive because of the way the BC scripting works and varius sollutions depending on your coding and BC knowledge.

No, it will not overwrite your code with someone else's code (if you did a proper check-out of the code). You must pay attention during check-in though. You might get a conflict that the DTR is not able to resolve that by itself. If any conflict occurs, you'll see a red line in the DTR console. You can then use the DTR Integration Conflicts view to resolve any conflicts.

Paragraphs seem to only be dealt with in styles, and the Formatting window for text doesn't seem to have the space after paragraph contrtol that the older Inspector had. What am I missing?

Sorry I did this without looking:
Side panel >Text > Style > Spacing > Turn the triangle > Before Paragraph/After Paragraph/

Sounds like the CD drive died. Luckily they cost next to nothing to replace. Or get an external LaCie instead. I have a dual G4 1.25 and the CD drive was always so anemic I use a LaCie Porsche with it.

You can check the file prefs.js in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and remove the line(s) related to that extension (procon.password).

The workflow could not check out the list item.

Hi Guys,
I have a workflow enabled on document library and it needs to started manually.
Whenever user starts workflow manually, gets following error:
"the workflow could not check out the list item. Make sure the list item is not checked out." list item is not checked out & this workflow was working smoothly earlier.
OutCome: The workflow operation failed because the workflow lookup found no matching item.

maybe check out for editing documents setting is turned on so wokrflow needs doc to ce cheked out before proceding and user might not have permission to do that.

If you choose US as your country while your bank details and credit card or PayPal account are from another country, then you will get an error not related to your details, such as 'the CVV number is incorrect', although it is correct.

Transport Organizer Syntax Check using the Code Inspector

dear fellows,
i'm facing a problem when i check the syntax of transport. When i'm using the option to check the syntax within the transaction se01 the system starts no longer the extended check but the code inspector.
is there any possibility to turn this code inspector check off and to get the extended syntax check again?
or on the othe hand, which variant is used for the check and is there any possibility to change the variant that is used?
