subscribed unlimited world via skype manager and using it already for years.
Nov/06 receive skype credit from skype manager.
this skype credited was somehow deducted by skype spersonal account and saying that I have subscribed another unlimited world through personal account. That means I have 2 world unlimited subscriptions at the same time.
immediately log in to the skype personal account and cancelled the new subscription of unlimited world and keep the existing world unlimited subscription.
no refund from the cancellation?
Please help.

I bought a Skype subscription , "unlimited world",...

First of all, i am writing this on my grandmothers behalf, she does not speak english and she is not very good with computers.
My grandmother saw an offer for unlimited free calls to the world, the first month was free and if she did not cancel her subscription within 27 days she would pay a monthly fee of around 10-12 Euro.
She thought that seemed to be a reasonable price and started an account. She got the comfirmation e-mail and tried to call her sister in Finland, but it did not work and it said she needed skype credit.
She sent an e-mail to you about this but did not even get an answer. It took me 5 minutes to find out that her account does not apply to mobile phones in Finland. My question is how hard can it be to reply to a customer in need. Where do i find the phone number to call you, if that is even possible, if not then start a phone support number in each of the countries you provide services and make it much easier to understand what i get access to with a certain subscription before i purchase it. Do you expect elderly people to be able to see what they are signing up for, when the headline is "Free Calls to the world unlimited", and the text that actually shows where it is free to call is tiny.
And it is not fair to have ads and offers in Swedish that people see and think "Let's try that" and when they need help with these services they are forced to be able to speak English. I live 2 hours away from my grandmother and she should not be forced to call me for help with something she is paying you guys for!

Sorry to hear about the mobile calls to Finland ending up not a Skype included feature of "Unlimited World".
Only 8 countries are included in the Unlimited World subscription as you may now be aware.
If your Grandmother wishes to call Finland mobile phones on a regular basis, maybe a one country choice (Finland) subscription may be better?
Another suggestion, if your Grandmother only wants to make a seldom odd call to a Finland mobile (and if this idea is possible), she could make a free Skype to Skype call to a mobile, if the mobile user has a smartphone capable of running Skype?
Send a cheap text message to the mobile to tell them to turn on Skype, in the response message that their Skype is on, start calling Skype to Skype to their mobile? I use this method sometimes.
I also understand that most grandparents do not have good PC skills too.

I had a small amount of credit when I signed up for the Unlimited World Subscription.
I'm calling a bank in the UK (def a landline), and Skype used my existing credit, then disconnected the call and now refuses to reconnect the call due to INSUFFICIENT CREDIT.
WHAT GIVES, SKYPE?????

You were charged correctly. The bank # you called is a very expensive UK "shared cost" premium line and is not included in any Subscription. Only calls to domestic landlines are covered.
TIME ZONE - US EASTERN. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac

Subscription - Unlimited World not active even aft...

Hi i got an email on the 6th July titled "Your subscription funded by PayPal has been cancelled" due to a problem with my CC linked on my PayPal account so i sorted that a paid for skype then got the email titled "We've delivered your order" but to this day i still cant make any free call to the locations listed (ie. Thailand Moblie) so as you see below next payment is due on the 6th AUGUST 2012

Subscribed to unlimited world premium (free offer)...

Hi,
i have today availed of the free trial one-month unlimited world premium subscription. paid it with my paypal account just so the process of availing the trial offer can be successfully completed. However, upon successful grant of the free subscription, i tried to use it but unfortunately i cant call landlines and mobile phones as the message is "You need Skype Credit or a subscription to call landlines and mobiles from skype".
what seems to be not right in this picture? please favor me with your prompt response asap.

Unlimited world subscriptions

I subscribed to unlimited world; however I am prompted to recharge my Skype credit.
My subscription shows that it has been "delivered" but doesn't seem to be active.if i want to make calls i am required to buy skype credit.
In the middle of a landline phone call to Israel, the call disconnected only because i had previously had skype credit available.
please help.

It seems that some calls were made to UK mobile numbers, but Unlimited World doesn't cover mobile numbers in UK: www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/pay-monthly/#UnlimitedWorld

I'm trying to buy 12 months 'unlimited world' subscription in Sterling, but it also direct me to the Chinese version site. Why is that?

New Subscription to World Unlimited

I just subscribed to World Unlimited for 12 months so that i could avoid recharging my account $10 at a time...Today i was calling and my account went to 0 asking me to pay more... i am confused... i thought the subscription would allow me to call anybody on a monthly basis..
Any suggestions are welcomed...so hard to get a hold of somebody at Skype... i know it is done on purpose... still bothering me... thanks.

To which number do you refer?
A Skype To Go access number will stay with you.
A Skype Number subscription is a stand-alone, separate subscription, the benefit to its pricing being that a discount is offered when purchased with a calling subscription such as Unlimited World. Like any other Skype subscription, it would renew automatically at the end of its term using the payment method defined when the subscription was initially purchased.
Your post reads as if you started as second Skype Number subscription.
Skype Customer Service can sort this, as well!

Unable to use my unlimited world subscription to ...

I have:
unlimited north americs subscription, works perfect.
purchased an unlimited world and i cannot access it and make calls to Guam< Puerto Rico< Germany or Belize ; please advise
Last but not least, how do i contact technical support for skype

Unlimited Europe does not cover cell phones in the UK. It only covers landlines. If you are calling cell phones you will need skype credit.

Unlimited World subscription but unable to call co...

Hi,
I have a unlimited world subscription and for some reason I'm unable to call to one of the countries that are in the list (Brazil), the phone I'm trying to call is a landline. Do I need to re-subscribe so the new countries for the unlimited world subscription works with my account?
BTW, I am using the format: +(country code) (area code) (number)

Unfortunately, as you initially purchased your subscription before the new countries were added, the destination Brazil is not included into your subscription.
What you can do is repurchase the subscription from the webpage, this way when the new subscription period starts (after the old already active subscription is over), the new subscription will be working for you.

Unlimited World subscription

I just paid my unlimited world subscription but can't make any call. I tried to call a mobile in China but it says I need to get a Skype credit. Why? Ipaid for subscription. I paid and payment is successful but can't even use it for calling. I need feedback. URGENT please!

Skype now offers two versions of the Unlimited World subscription. One - the cheaper option - does not include calling to China. Please click on "Subscriptions" near the bottom of this page to see the new details.
You can cancel the subscription you just started, then sign up for the new Unlimited World subscription that includes calling to China. Be prepared for the higher price of the subscription with calling to China.

Cannot call with unlimited world subscription

I have subscribed to Unlimited world subscription and had recently paid the bill for the month.
However, I cannot make a phonecall to Malaysia using the account. The phone keep showing the message insufficient credit. And prompted me to buy credits.

This is urgent and I need to make important call. Why doesn't Skype have a customer service hotline?
This is so frustrating.

I can see that you have tried to call a mobile in Malaysia, this is not included in your Subscription, you can call only landlines.
