Double tap to get to multitasking not working

Since upgrade to iOS 7.1 yesterday when I double tap to close apps nothing happens

For whatever reason, this problem has gone away by itself. All back to normal. I have no idea why.

Get mail button not working can not receive any mail

Since I installed Lion (on day-one) the "Three fingers double tap to search" gesture doesn't work in both my mac. (I actived it in prefs panel!)

The dictionary search function only works in some programs at this point. Try it in Safari or Mail.

Left double click button on mouse is not working

My Left double click is not working on my mouse. I tried using a different mouse to test whether it was a hardware or software issue. I still have the same issue with a different mouse. I also get what looks like tiny barcodes to the top right of my mouse pointer. This is mind boggling to me. Is anyone else having this issue and what can I do to resolve it? Thanks in advance.

That is usually a software corruption problem.
Disk Utility ( Repair Disk ) is a good place to start.

Double Click on Keyboard shortcut does not work

I want to change a keyboard shortcut. I have a Norwegian keyboard and the key combination for change active window in an application (multiple mail messages or Word documents) is not available. The Keyboard shortcut is set to ' - on my keyboard the ' character is <. The key combination < does not work unless I change layouts to a US keyboard. Keyboard shortcuts says that a double click on the shortcut will allow me to change the combination. This does not happen. I get an error bing instead. Any ideas of what is going on and how to change a shortcut in Leopard. I think this worked in Tiger. I have tried a hardwired as well as my bluetooth keyboard.

Solved this one - you have to click on the key combination itself and not in the text area that describes the key combination.

Double-tapping on home button doesn't work

i've read on the net that double-tapping on the home button on the ipod touch 4th gen will properly exit an app, not just 'minimise' it, making sure that it isn't running in the background. but whenever i try this, all it does is return to the homescreen; then back 1 previous page of apps. how come it doesn't seem to work for me? the apps you recently used are supposed to come up on the 'recently used apps' page, or something, but it doesn't. is this supposed to happen?
i've also tried holding down the home button for about 5 secs, but that also doesn't work either. all it does is bring up the 'voice control' page. please help!

From what you see happening you are probably not double clicking quickly enough, I.e., your clicks are interpreted by the system as two separate clicks and not a double-click. Try speeding your action up.
When this is working a section at the bottom of the screen will open an show recently used apps. You can switch to one or if you hold an app icon for a bit "-" signs will appear with the icons and you can remove apps.
Also make sure that you are actually running iOS 4.

Ios4 multitasking not working on my latest gen ipod touch

I've upgraded to both ios4 and pandora 3.1, and have double clicked in pandora while its running but no multitask panel slides up and pandora stops. Has anyone succeeded in getting pandora to multitask on the latest ipod touch yet?

An apple store rep just told me that multitasking is only enabled on 32GB or 64GB current generation ipod touch models. Thats a pretty sneaky way to sell your "current generation" 8GB models, call them latest gen, say in the press that ios4 multitasking will work on them, and then ziiiinngggggo, no multitasking if you only need 8GB of storage. oh, well, off to jailbreakland...

JSF Getting Started Example not Working

I've installed and configured JSF according to CoreJSF 1st Chapter example "A simple JSF Application" (available at http://horstmann.com/corejsf/). The only different thing i've done is to put the jsp pages in a separate folder within the root web application folder. The JSF seems to be properly configured, since i'm able to see the UI components in the login page. However, once I click login button, the application takes me once more to the login page (same page that put the request). I figure it is a problem with the navigation file, I've changed the faces-config.xml including "jsf/welcome.jsp" as target since "jsf" is the separate directory I created for JSP files. I does not work (not getting exceptions though). Any prompt help will be highly appreciated.

try to put / at the beginning of the from-view-id and to-view-id

Double tap on the crown will not return me to last app

When I am on the Home view or on the watch view, double tapping the Crown will not take me back to the last app viewed. Anyone else experience this?

I’m using Mavericks, and it’s still possible to select text to drag and for cutting and pasting. Left-clicking and right-clicking is still possible, too.
Try opening the Trackpad pane of System Preferences, and select the Point & Click tab. To right-click, ensure that your “Secondary click” checkbox has been checked; the small print under “Secondary click” is a dropdown menu which allows you to select the form of right-clicking that you prefer. (For instance, mine is set to “Click in bottom right corner”.) For left-clicking, is your “Tap to click” checkbox checked, or unchecked? (Mine is unchecked, since I prefer pushing for left-clicking over tapping to do so.)

J1IS - Tab Get excise invoice not working

Scenario----
Our client is sending material to vendor which will not come back..... with payment of excise duties..........
Transer posting from our sloc to vendor sloc is done by MVT (311------Customised movement type)
This mat. doc. is used for the ref. doc.. at J1IS.........
AND we are not getting any data for get excise inv... for the ref. of earlier invoices.......
Here i need some clarifications.......
for J1IS which movement type doc. we can use........
For 311 MVT can we get data from excise inv. tab.....
is there any more notes or customisation reqd. for the same.....

311 movement is only a stock transfer between two storage locations. Here the material still be a valuated stock of the company. But ur requirement is that material will not come back from vendor.
best way is to create a return purchase order on the vendor (this is a normal po with return check-box selected in the line item)
Then u have to post MIGO with ref to this po. Here material document will be posted with 161 movement
U can generate a excise invoice with ref to above material document

Tomcat 5.5.26 Sessions getting replicated but not working via browser

I have configured Tomcat 5.5.26 to be clustered across 2 machines with one instance on each. These two machines are behing a BIG-IP loadbalancer which is setup for sticky sessions.
The catalina.out states that the member can see each other:

The localhost.2008-07-03.log states that the sessions are being replicated for the jsp-examples app - book example. I have an app of our own that does not even state that the session is replicated but I though I would start here with getting the example one working.

The app I am using is the jsp-examples/book example.
The load balancer is sending requests to both servers.
When the dargle instance is sent a request I can see in the logs of both servers:

The jsp-examples book example is supposed to have serilizable object and was recommended on some sites are the way to test out the replication. Is there any other way to test this?
Also, the main purpose of the cluster is to replicate an application from an external vendor which they say is compatible with session replication. However, this app does not even output the sessionCreated message so I am unsure if it truly is compatible.
If I could prove that the cluster is setup correctly then I would have more to go on when contacting the vendor. At the moment I am unsure if the cluster is setup correctly for session replication.

hi
you need to see the cause of failure. Either inspect the object o in the watch or in the firebug console you can replay the request and check the response tab (if the request was made). If you dont see any request in console , then it might be some cross domain issue (not sure how this would work in ie though).
use watches on all the parameters and check that they are correct
