Doubt about Integration Directory

Hi Expers,
I have one doubt about ID.
What are  the objects we can re-use in the IR And  ID.
Please let me know.
Regards
Khanna

Hi Rajesh,
<i>With out Developing of the ID Also my Scenario is Working Fine.</i>
Yes it will work, if you are using the same names for message interface, message mapping and interface mapping.
Beacause in ID an Object key is uniquely assigned for each configuration object.
if it already exist then no need to create another.

    Hi Guys,
I have the follow doubt: Is possible to do integration CUCM and VoIP Provider using authentication? Is there necessary another equipment to do this? CUBE for example? or another alternative

If you are referring to authentication over sip trunk, then NO! CUCM doesn't do authentication you will need a CUBE for that

  • Who know where store the data about integration Directory objects?

I met some problem which is difficult analysis how to design for ID and find channel status(active or inactive).

  • Integration Directory

    Hi all,
Can any body please provide me link to some blog / tutorials which could give me the entire understanding about integration Directory. For example when is the business system used, what are the steps invloved in configuring various scenarios.
    Any help will be appriciated.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Kulwant

    Hi Kulwant,
    Regarding to the Integration Directory..
First according to the scenario u have to decide whether to use a party, service without party in which it contains business system, business service , business scenario..
The creation of Objects will be like this ...
    *Communication Party or Service
    Communication Channel
    Receiver Determination
    Interface Determaination
    Sender Agreement
    Receiver Agreement*
Business scenario is used when a scenario is developed using BPM's
Based on your needs, you can select from the following service types:
Business System: Address a particular business system as the sender or receiver of messages.
A business system is an actual application system in a system landscape. A business system
(service) comprises information about the inbound and outbound interfaces and the software
component versions of the business system. The business system services are used when
    configuring internal company processes.
Business Service: Address an abstract business entity as the sender or receiver of messages.
Using a business service, you can define the technical or business subunits of the companies
involved and then assign them the relevant interfaces. The business services are used when
    configuring cross-company processes.
Business Process or Integration Process Service:  Address an integration process as the sender or receiver of messages.
    Prerequisites
The business system must be entered in the SLD.
A communication party has been created.
1Create Business System as Service with Party
    Procedure
    1. In the Configuration: Integration Builder, navigate to Objects tab.
    2. Expand Party.
    3. Right-click on Business System and choose Assign Business System.
    4. In Business System Wizard, skip the step 1 Introduction by choosing Continue.
    5. In step 2 Assign Party, for example, enter Buyer.
    6. In step 3, select systems from the list that you want to define as the business system
    service.
    7. Choose Finish.
Create Business Service as Service with Party
    Procedure
    1. In the Configuration: Integration Builder, navigate to Objects tab.
    2. Expand Party.
    3. Right-click on Business Service and choose New.
    4. In the Create Object Wizard, choose a communication party. For example, select
    Seller.
    5. Enter a service name, for example, PCK_Service.
    6. Enter a description for the service.
    7. Choose Create and Save.
After Creating the Systems u need to choose the Adapter based on the scenario.. we call this as communication channel, and we shuld configure the communication channel to fetch the file from the source and to drop the files to the target directory..
Then it should follow with Logical Routing and Collaboration Agreements..
Logical Routing consists with Receiver Determination and Interface Determination
Collaboration Agreements consists with Sender Agreement and Receiver Agreement..
In Receiver Determination u have to specift the what are all the receivers that are going to receive the message and u have a provision of delivering the message based on the payload by using an option of condition editor.
In Interface determination u will be specifying the Interface mapping which was developed in the design in between Outbound and Inbound Interfaces
In Sender agreement we give the communication channel which is developed in the sender side w.r.t the business system/service.
In Receiver agreement we give the communication channel which is developed in the receiver side w.r.t the business system/service.
for further clarifiction revert back with the queries..
    regards
    Kishore

  • Creating business services in integration directory

    Hi
When business services are created in integration directory - these business services are not tied back to entries in the SLD - i.e we can create entries for business services directly in integration directory without having to import them from SLD.
Now, when we migrate - from Dev environment to other landscapes - my understanding is that these business service entries are going to be migrated with the same names -and no transport target entries / validations is made during the target system import time - which happens in case of business systems having entries in SLD....
Could anybody out there - clarify these thoughts about business service entries
Thanks in advance - for your time .

  • Integration directory - Editing Objects

    Hi all,
I want to change the naming convention of some objects like configuration scenario name, party name, business service name etc in the Integration directory.
For Eg:- If I try to change the configuration scenario name.
    DblClick the "Configuration scenario name"
But when I try to change it by using "Display/Edit"- the "Configuration Scenario" field is not editable.
    The "Description" field is editable.
Is it something to do with my rights in the system.Should I talk to my administrator.
    OR
If not, How could I change it...
    Thanks
    P

So if there are 2 party or business servives or integration processes with the same name(added as I aid before using "Add to Scenario") exists in 2 different scenarios. They are independent objects.
So I can rename each object also as independent objects as follows, without worrying abt "Where-used"lists.
Right click ->Copy object->Give the new name->Select the scenario(and folder if you using one)->Save and activate.
A li'l correction here. You cant have two different business services/components with same name in the first place. All Business sytems/services are stored in a common place thats under the Service without party tab in Integration Directory.
Channels assigned to Business system is stored in SLD.Thats clear.
Channels assigned to business services. Its also reused. If it is reused it should be stored in a common place right.Where is it?
When you create a channel BY DEFAULT they get stored in Communication Channel tab in ID and if you check the Service without party tab in ID you can find the same under your business service/component.
So if there exists 2 channels with the same name(added as I aid before using "Add to Scenario") exists in 2 different scenarios. They are independent objects.
So I can rename each channel also as independent objects as follows, without worrying abt "Where-used"lists.
    Yes!!!
Your channels are assigned to a particular business system/service. Now when you rename them using copy object you have the option to select a business system too. If you want them to be in the same business system/component just give the new name and save.No need to worry about scenarios.

  • Error while importing the Integration Directory Objects

    Hi,
I created one simple RFC to RFC scenario. We have only one XI system. after creation of this scenario I exported the Scenario from Integration Directory. Then I deleted the configuration scenario from Integration directory. Now I tried to import the TPZ file which was generated before the deletion of the objects in the integration directory. I get following error :
"No business system found on the application server (XXXXXXX, 00) for client 001"
    XXXXXXX is our XI server.
Now if I create the Business system for client 001 in SLD for XI system and tried to import the TPZ file again, it works.
What could be the reason for this? Also Please let me know if I have to do any configuration before importing the TPZ file in same the same system to avoid the above error.
    Highly Appreciate your valuable inputs.
    Thanks,
    Chandravadan

    Hi Swarup,
    Thanks for reply.
As you suggested, I did the SLD cache refresh and also whole cache refresh. But Still I get the above error. and if I create the business system for 001 client of XI system then it works.
My doubt is why I get error only for 001 client. There are also clients in XI system. and I have  business system for client 600 of XI system as Integration server.
    Thanks,
    Chandravadan

  • How to configure Integration Directory for Integration process async sync

    Hi Experts,
I am confused about doing configuration in Integration Directory i.e receiver determination, interface determination and receiver agreement and sender agreement for my integration process as it involve synchronous send at target side.
In my Scenario , we get Purchase order request(asynchronously) from SRM system in proxy xml format which we have to map to Cxml format send it to third party system(say system 2) as http request. Then we will recieve a response from system2 in Cxml format through HTTP.Now,we have to map this response as to SRM system via proxy code for successful and error case .If error occured we also have to mail to the respective department about the error occured via mail adapter.Proxy to XI is a asynchronous communication and XI to System2 is a synchronous communication .Then again XI to SRM is a asynchronous communication via proxy.I have request and response External defination for Cxml i.e HTTP side.
I have done following integration process in ESR
    Start- Receive(1)---Transformation(2)-send(3)-Fork(4)--
    stop
    ...................................................................................................... .....[----Branch 1 [-Transformation(5)-Send(6)-
    .......................[-----Branch 2 -
SWITCH STEP to check error code[
    ............................................................................................................[.otherwise branch of switch
    Fork(4)----[
    .......................[----Branch 1-Transformation (9)-send(10)-
    Here,
Recieve(1) -- is used for recieve request from SRM.Mode is asynchronous
Transforamtion(2)-- is used for operation mapping between request of SRM to HTTP request.
send(3) --is used to sending request synchronous to HTTP,mode is synchronous, used synchronous abstract interface, abstract reqhttp and abstract resphttp
switch-switch Branch1 is used for checking error response to be true---
Transformation(5)--- is used to map HTTP response to Mail response structure
    Send(6)----
is used to send mail content to Mail adapter
Transformation(9)---- is used to map HTTP response to Proxy response
Send(10) --- used to send mapped proxy response to SRM as to update status by calling calling Function module using proxy code.
    Thanks
    Deepak

    Deepak,
In BPM data does not flow in Backword direction!
take any step in your BPM the message it is goiong to receive will be what a step just before it is giving to BPM.
    Now in your case
    IR Part:
You have to call Third part Synchronously and the input to it will be what Proxy has given to you.
Create an Abstract Synchronous(in case of abstract you need not bother it is Inbound or Outbound) in which(I mean the Message Interface) The Output message will be what you have Received from Proxy and the input message will be what you are going to receive from the Third party as a Response.  Now you would have Inbound Synchronous Interface created for calling Third party.
Have a Interface Mapping between the Abstract Synchronous and Inbound Synchronous Message Interface.
    ID Part:
For synchronous Step:  BPM will; be sender with  Message Interface Abstarct Synchronous
Third Party will be receiver With Inbound Interface(Synchronous). Use the INterface Mapping between Abstract Synchronous and Inbound Synchronous that You have created in IR.
Have a Receiver Agreement for the Thirs part.
No Sender agreement required in case of BPM as a Sender.
    Thanks,
    Sunil Singh

  • Doubt in Integration Scenario

    Hi All,
I wuld like to know whether  I can  create a Integration Scenario after completing the Configuration steps (eventhough it doesnt make much sense)

    Hi Aarthi,
Its not mandatory to create the integration scenario.
The integration Scenario in IR will be useful for re-presenting the whole flow of the interface.
If you do the itegration scenrio in Design time then you do not need to follow the stpes which is required in configuration like creating Aggrement, determination and all. you just need to import the scenario from integration repository that will avoid configure part.
Usually during the audit time the auditor checks whether IS is designed or not? as that is the good practive to design ur scenario with IS.
    Companion Guide to Integration scenario
    /people/venkat.donela/blog/2006/02/17/companion-guide-to-integration-scenario
It will be good loaction to get all the information about whole interface.
You could either create or transport the same Integration scenario in ID.
With the use of Integration scenario you could model the whole interface with all minute details
It comes under best practices. So if you create the IS it will be very easy for you to understand the and designe the business flow. Morevere becomes very easy while creating/configuring the Integration Directory, you just need to import the design objects form IR.
If you will not create IS, there is no harm. So it all depends upon client and also you.
    Thanks,
    Vijaya.

  • Doubts about BP number in SRM and SUS

    Hello everyone,
I have some doubts about the BP number, especially for Vendors.
I am working with the implementation of SRM 5.0 with SUS in an extended classic scenario. We will use one server for SRM and other for SUS. We will use the self registration for vendor (in SUS). My questions are:
    - Can I have the same BP number in SRM and SUS?? Or is it going to be different??
    - When a vendor accesses at the site to make a self registration in SUS, the information is sent to SRM as prospect (by XI) and there the prospect is changed as vendor? After that, is it necessary to send something from SRM to SUS again? (to change the prospect to vendor)
    - When is it necessary to replicate vendors from SRM to SUS??
    Thanks
    Ivá

    Dear Ivan,
Here is answer to all your questions. Follow these steps for ROS configuration:
    Pls note:
    1. No need to have seperate clients for ROS and SUS. Create two clients for EBP and (SUS+ROS).
    2. No need of XI to transfer new registered vendor from ROS to EBP
    Steps to configure scenario:
    1. Make entries in SPRO --> "Define backend system" on both clients.
You will ahev specify logical systems of both the clients (ROS as well as EBP)
    2. Create RFCs on both clients to communicate with each other
    3. In ROS client create Service User for supplier registration service with roles:
        SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEUSER
        SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEVENDOR
Grant u201CS_A.SCONu201D profile to the user.
    4. Maintain service user in u201CLogon Datau201D tab of service : ros_self_reg in ROS client
    5. Create Purchasing and vendor Organizational Structure in EBP client and maintain necessary
attributes. create vendor org structure in ROS client
    6. Create your ROS registration questionnaires and assign to product categories- in ROS client
    7. To transfer suppliers from registration system to EBP/Bidding system, Supplier pre-screening has to be
defined as supplier directory in SRM server - EBP client.
Maintain your prescreen catalog in IMG --> Supplier Relationship Management u2192 SRM Server u2192
Master Data u2192 Define External Web Services (Catalogs, Vendor Lists etc.)
    8. Maintain this catalog Id in purchasing org structure under attribure "CAT" - in EBP client
    9. Modify purchaser role in EBP client:
Open node for u201CROS_PRESCREENu201D and maintain parameter "sap-client" and ROS client number
10.Maintain organizational data in make settings for business partner
Supplier Relationship Management -> Supplier Self-Services -> Master Data -> Make Settings for the Business Partners. This information is actually getting getting stored in table BBP_MARKETP_INFO.
    11. Using manage Business partner node with purchasers login (BBPMAININT), newly registsred vendors are pulled from Pre-screen catalog and BP is created in EBP client. If you you have SUS scenario, ensure to maintain "portal vendor" role here.
I hope this clarifies all your doubts.
Pls reward points for helpful answers
    Regards,
    Prashant

  • Doubt about proxies implementation

hi experts i have small doubt about proxies implementation
    1. if we r implementing client proxies, it means sap r/3(proxy)->>xi->>>file
system.here where we have to execute the SPROXY  transaction. in sap r/3 or
in the xi server.and the next thing is where we have to write the report program
to trigger the interface.in sap r/3 or in the xi server.
    2. if we r implementing server proxies, it means File->>xi->>>sap r/3
(proxy).here where we have to execute the SPROXY  transaction. in sap r/3 or
         in the xi server.
    please clear me
    Regards
    giri

    Sreeram,
The Integration Server and the client on which you generate the proxies should not be the same. If they are different then yes, you can use another client in your XI box itself to generate proxies and trigger the call to XI.
If you see this blog by Ravi ( incidentally he is my boss as well ) this is exactly what we have done as well.
    /people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy
When you say XI, you mean the Client on which the Integration Server is running! XI is basically a R3 instance with more functionality and its own Integration Engine.

  • Integration Directory - Cache Notifications Error!!

    Hi ,
When i try to select "Cache Notifications" in directory i am facing this error below.
<b>Unable to determine the name of the central Adapter Engine from the System Landscape Directory at this time. Notifications to the central Adapter Engine are therefore listed using the technical name of the Adapter Engine. This is usually structured as follows: af.<SAP System ID>.<Name of application server></b>
I can see in SLD -> technical system -> exchange infrastructure, the entry for Integration Directory is missing. I ve applied note 764176 , but it is not helping. Similarly the entry for RWB is also missing here.
ve checked in SLD -> Admin -> Content Manitenance and the assocations are missing for IR & RWB. I beleive these errors are closely related. ve chked exchange profile XIDIRUSER & XIRWBUSER pwds , chked the roles , they are the same as our DEV / QA envionments.
Can anyone pls point what am i missing here
    Thanks
    Saravana

    Hi Saravana,
About the roles for XIRWBUSER...you can check the same in the ABAP stack...go to transaction SU01 and check the Roles attached...it should have the following entries...
    SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR
    SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER
    SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN
These should be sufficient as it is working for us...also...the roles gets passed along from the abap stack to the J2ee stack....
Now to your original issue...we had to change our sld in our system to a new box and had to re-configure....we got the same error that you were getting...
we corrected it by doing the following...
Corrected the entries in the Visual Admin under SLD data supplier service... for the HTTP tab as well as the CIM tab.
Did the SLDCHECK(TCODE on abap stack) and made sure everything was ok....
Did a CPACache refresh full...and of course a restart....
that solved the issue for us...
    Thanks,
    Renjith
